Undisclosed Location, Pinellas County

Due to the sale of a home to a new homeowner, and the new homeowner's request, the SPIRITS have removed all images of our investigation of this location.  All names of former homeowners are removed, and the area is now "undisclosed". 

Part of the problem with parapsychological study is the unpredictable nature of the field.  Researchers cannot control all aspects of the investigations, as control factors are limited to place, participants, and time.  Homes and businesses are far from clinical laboratory settings. 

In addition, the subject of ghosts, itself, has been debated since the time of the ancient Greeks.  Do they exist or don't they?  If they do, then what rules of nature do they obey?  Why do some people sense them while others do not?  This 2500-year-old argument shows no signs of letting up any time soon.

The SPIRITS have attempted to work on a process that eliminates as much of the unpredictable nature of the investigations as possible.  Information is limited to a one person "contact", home addresses and last names are kept from team members until the time of the investigation, and homeowners are interviewed after the SPIRITS have completed their findings. 

A silent walk-through allows SPIRITS members to write out individual, and private, sensations, readings, and impressions.  These ideas are shared after the walk-through is completed.  Then the team focuses on agreed upon "hot spots" of activity for the remainder of the time. 

After the completion of these procedures, the team shares the findings with the homeowner.  It is at this time that the property owner explains activities experienced at the site.

The team also utilizes a follow-up procedure.  If at all possible, homeowners are asked to allow the SPIRITS to re-investigate an area after several months have elapsed. 

The investigation at this undisclosed location illustrates the importance of this procedure.  The first investigation took place in September of 2003.  The team was called in only a few days before the homeowners were moving out of the location. 

Almost immediately activity began.  Several sensed a presence watching from a front window as the team approached.  An older man was "felt" in the area of the stairs, and a young boy danced in the loft bedroom. 

Homeowners reported odd behavior of their 2-year-old son, who spoke in his sleep, avoided certain areas, and talked about "a man" in the house.  Homeowner research matched with census records prior to the 1950s discovered that one sensitive had correctly named the old man, but the boy remained a mystery.

The second investigation fell to February 2004.  The homeowners, who moved out of the area, reported receiving phone calls from a St. Petersburg area code.  No one was on the line, and when the number was redialed it was "dead." 

The wife also communicated with a sensitive person via a chat group who, without any knowledge of the area or the SPIRITS, told her of the ghostly activity and advised that she contact paranormal investigators for a recheck.

The SPIRITS team assigned to the secondary visit was an assortment of members who had visited the site before, experienced members who had not been there, and two new people on their first investigation.

This time, activity started before anyone arrived.  One SPIRITS member had a "visit" from the little boy earlier in the day at her own home.  He greeted her again when she arrived in the house. 

The building, though emptied of furniture, had a couple of anomalous findings in it.  EMF registered outside the home, near the garage, and one team member with an impaired sense of smell was pounded with a terrible aroma. 

Upstairs in the loft bedroom a strange yellow toy car was discovered in one of the storage cubbies.  The homeowners did not recognize it and it was not there when they moved out. 

The SPIRITS broke up into two groups; one explored upstairs, the other downstairs.  EMF activity registered downstairs at the same time as digital cameras and battery packs failed in the bedroom loft directly above.  The activity lasted approximately five minutes for both teams.  The downstairs activity corresponded to the cubby area where the team found the mysterious yellow car.

Again, sensitives picked up on the old man for a fleeting instant.  The boy spirit bounded about playing with others. 

If nothing else, the investigation reconfirmed that the site was haunted.  Activity paralleled that which was found before and expanded it with the placement of the toy, which the team returned to the cubby before leaving.

The paranormal phenomena that took place on both the upper and lower stories was quite impressive and also a team first.  This investigation had enough people to split into two independent teams, each headed by several experienced members.  However, it also taught us to take better records of what happened at exactly what time; though we know activity corresponded with both groups the order of phenomena is confused.

The SPIRITS continues to try to streamline and improve its investigation techniques.  Recently, homeowner and business response has been more open to re-investigations.  Perhaps with consistent methodology and techniques, and the kindness of those who ask us to investigate, the team can find solidified proof of ghostly phenomena.  After all, isn't 2500 years of questions enough for one topic?

Investigation 1:

HOMEOWNER's DOCUMENT

1. Unusual Dreams

My son, husband, and I have all had unusual dreams. My son will often talk in his sleep, saying "stop," "no," or "mine." He has been doing this since he could say just a few words. I often have very "real" dreams. I often wake my self up, and then realize that I was dreaming. I recently had a dream of a deceased friend, where I carried on a conversation with her, asking her things, whatever came to mind. I often do not remember many dreams for very long, or something will happen in my daily life, and I will then remember that this occurred in my dream on a previous occasion.

2. Lucid Dreams

I have these all the time, and by no means is this an exaggeration. They occur at least a couple times a week. As I stated above, i had a dream of a deceased friend where i carried on a conversation with her. I will realize that I am dreaming, or "something" tells me, as strange as that sounds. I will take complete control and often wake my self up, and then saying, "OK, it was a dream," they are often very vivid and clear, however, I do not remember the specifics for long periods of time.

Yes, as an example, during this past Christmas season, my husband was looking for his wallet. He said he thought he placed it on the desk in the kitchen. I looked there, picking up a roll of tape that was the only item on the desk. Nothing was there. We continued looking and he said "i swear I placed it there," I looked again, and there it was, right under the roll of tape.

Yes. Last night my husband heard someone at the front door, and thought he heard someone open it, and then footsteps. Thinking that it was my children and I home, he went to the front, and no one was there. The other day, while I was home alone with the kids, I swore I locked the back door. I was downstairs, and looked at the door, to make sure it was locked, and it was not.

12. Slider Phenomena

This is defiantly the strangest question I have ever been asked. Ever since I was young, I have noticed street lights turning off as I pass them. I swear this to be true on my children. It was so odd that i be asked this question, it has been happening for as long as I can remember. It is the strangest thing I have ever experienced, and happens almost every time I am out at night, more so lately. What was also very strange, is that this is the second time I write this! The first time, I was finished, and was doing spell check, I was on my last few words, and the computer, oddly enough, shut off........ weird!

13. Premonitions, Clairvoyance, Retro Cognition

No, I do not think so, however, I have had very strange dreams where things like this have taken place. I often will have a very vivid dream, although I do not remember it very well and later be doing something and I will remember that I have previously dreamt it. It is different from déjà vu, I clearly remember that I once dreamt it. Another example, although somewhat different, is the following:

I was four years old and had a dream. I was looking over a house (as if I was looking at it from above, without a roof). My mother was sitting on a couch, in a living room, holding a newborn, which I thought was me. My sister was in her room reading a book, when she knocked over a lamp, and it then caught fire. She was too afraid to get up, so she started yelling ad my mother went in and got her.

When I woke up, I told my mother of the dream, she was amazed. The event had actually taken place, however I was not yet born. I had never been told the story.

OTHER

My husband has been woken up by "someone" on numerous occasions. He has also heard someone calling him, thinking it was me, but it was not. I have also heard a child, this happened this evening while typing this. As I type, there is now a cold draft were I am, this was not present before.

TIMELINE

I am going to give you a timeline of events in this house, if you would like more information than what I listed, please feel free to let me know.

We moved to Historic Uptown On Thanksgiving weekend of 2002. Being that our home was built in 1936, my husband and I knew that "haunting" were possible, but we never had major occurrences until recently. During Christmas time my husband was looking for his wallet. He thought he put it on his desk, we looked there, and couldn't find it. Later, we looked again, and there it was, in the exact place we previously looked. Minor things have happened since, such as events previously stated, but it was not until we started packing, getting ready to move, that the oddest things have happened.

I was upstairs nursing my daughter. My son came running up stairs yelling "Mommy, Mommy, I'm scared", i asked what was wrong, and he said "there's a man downstairs, look he did that", he then made a very serious puzzled look, and looked around. I said "he did that?" he said "yeah." I said "where is he," he said "downstairs." I grabbed the phone and my daughter and told my son to follow me, he reluctantly came behind me. As we were going downstairs, I asked my son where the man was and he said "in the kitchen." I looked all around the house and no one was there. My son said "No, Mommy, Gone."

Later on that day my son was in the front room of the house and came running back, while yelling "the man, door." I went to the front room and there was no one there, I looked outside, and not a person to be seen. My son then said "no, not that door" and he pointed at a small piece of furniture that has a small door, and said "there."

Wed, September 10, 2003. This was a relatively uneventful day. My husband, however was home alone and heard the someone at the front door, and then footsteps. He thought we possibly came hoe, but it was not us.

My children and I came home around 2:30 PM, at around 4:00pm we were all resting upstairs and heard a large bang, as if someone had dropped a large, bulky object. I picked up the phone, to call my husband, and got a "busy signal" I did this three more times, and still the same. I thought someone had broken in, so I ran outside with the kids and called the police from the neighbors house. They came and found nothing.

I discussed these events with my neighbor, he said that is very strange that I would mention it. We went for a vacation to Canada, and he was keeping an eye on the house and collecting our mail. He would often look over and see different lights on, and he also claims to have seen the front door open. He would go back inside, thinking it was strange that we came home early, and he would get the mail to bring it over. He would come back outside, and realized that the door was not open and no one was home.

That is pretty much it. I have much more to tell, but they do not have anything to do with this house. If you are interested, please let me know, I will be more than happy to elaborate.

I just remembered, I do have a few more things about this house and my son. My son will often play with "Bill," he is a friend of my husbands who passed. This started at our old home. My son, who could only say a few words, suddenly pointed and said "Bill." He would also be crying and suddenly "laugh." It was very strange. At this house, he would play in the back yard, and once said "Look, Bill."

Nothing too much happened today, however upstairs in the master bedroom, there was a warm, suffocating like spot on the bed. It is near the window, however, it was only on one side of the bed. When looking at the bed it is the right side.

My son also said the man was wearing shorts and a shirt and had red hair. I was asking him specific questions and this is how he answered, but I am not sure if I provoked answers in any way.

Well, thanks. I also wanted to say that I looked up the 1930 census, for St. Petersburg. There was a family by the name of Sullivan, Head of House, Edward, wife, Sarah, and son John N. Just thought it was interesting. I couldn't find out where they lived, it didn't say, however I am going to city hall on Monday to get more info. I also contacted some old owners of the house. They bought it in the late eighties, the neighborhood had taken a downfall, and was infested with drug dealers and such. It was three apartments then, and the upstairs, was what they considered "hell." They bought the house and fixed it back to a single family home. Just thought i would share the new info. thanks, M

NEIGHBOR:

Hi. I wanted to write you in response to the investigation on --. I am their neighbor and I have also experienced strange happenings from that home, as well as my own. I was the one who first noticed the front door opening, and then going next door only to find it closed. The week they were gone this happened 3 times. There is always also someone in the upper window looking out, like keeping watch, or again in the rear yard. Whenever i stand at my rear window I have the feeling of someone watching, and at night if I go outsidde, I can 'feel' something. Not someone over my shoulder, but hidden. (I am getting goosebumps just rewriting this). I ahve also been experiencing this since I moved in next to them, and would say it started in Dec that I really noticed. I realized that there was no one home next door, yet someone was watching. I did not want to tell my neighbors, for fear they thought i was either crazy, or, well, crazy.

Then there was last night. I took my son, he is 4, over around 8 because they showed me the pictures they took Sunday night, which were incredible. I wanted to walk upstairs, because the last time I was there I couldn't . like I 'wasn't' allowed for some reason, like I would 'know' at that point.It is hard to explain. M can verify this. So I took my son upstairs, put him down and then looked around. Nothing special,except for the 'cold'. We then left after a piece of pizza and went home. Later that night I heard them leave, thinking maybe they were going to stay in a hotel. A few minutes later, I got up with my son on my back, carrying him, and went to the rear of my house. AS I was getting the juice from the fridge, my son looked to the rear of my neighbors house, and said, "Daddy, why are they playing with Nickolas's toys?" I asked who, and he told my the (whispering) clear ghosts. I asked him why he said clear, and he said, cause some are dark daddy, but I don't like those, I like the clear ghosts. They don't scare me. " I asked him if he ever saw any other things that he called ghosts. He then told me that he saw them when we went upstairs earlier in the night." I asked why he didn't tell me ands he said. "I thought you could see them Daddy." I know this all sounds crazy, but I had to get if off my chest. If you have any other questions. please contact me. since a child, as have others in my family. My new home is very inviting,

there is something that 'plays games' like hiding the keys or cell phone.

Either finding it where I already looked, or in a place I know I did not put

to the home. I sometimes feel the pressure of a hand on my shoulder, but

there is no fear involved, as this has always occurred. Like a spirit

HI Brandi, I just wanted to thank you again for last night. It really shed some light in the situation. It was a pleasure to have you all here. We took some pictured today with our digital camera, and had some interesting results. I need to ask about the little boy. Did he have a white shirt on with a peter-pan style collar? I think he might have appeared in a picture, however it is really hard to see, and rather abstract. My eyes might just be playing tricks on me. He has his moth somewhat open and his hands by his chest. I am just curious. Anyhow, thanks so much again. M

Hi Brandi, this is M. We had another very unusual incident today, I actually thought someone was in our house, and called the police from a neighbors home. They probably thought I was a bit wacky, but oh well, better safe than sorry. I know you are very busy today, but I wanted to mention that on Sunday, we are having a birthday party for my son at 2 PM, just wanted you to be aware of that. Hopefully everyone will be gone by the time you all would do the walk through, but there is a slight possibility that they wouldn't be. We have experienced many "odd" events in the past, however, as we near our move, more and more strange occurrences seam to be taking place. Today, my son, who will be three next week, cam running upstairs screaming that he was scared. He continued by saying that there was a man downstairs, and he showed me what he did, by moving his eyes and making certain expressions. He then preceded by saying that the man was in the kitchen. I reluctantly grabbed my 5 month old and went down stairs. I was a bit fearful that someone had broken in. We went into the kitchen aND no one was there, I continued around my house, and found nothing. Things like this have happened in the past, but it has never frightened my son. i was then looking at this sight on our computer, which is in the back room of the house, and he was in the front of the house, he then said "the man" "the man" he was very scared and came to the back with me. Once again I went to check it out and found nothing. During these time, I got chills and the areas were very cold. I would be more than happy to further detail this and other situations we have.

Hi Brandi, I did a little research on our home through county permits.  I am sure there were some owners who did not pull permits, however I have a list of the following people.  I am not sure if the first were the original owners, actually i do not believe they were but in 1939 Mrs. M.H. i believe bought the home for 2000$.  her initials are M. G. H. and i believe her husbands name was possibly William, he went by wily, and his initials were W. G. H.  They pulled their last permit in 1952.  

The next permit was pulled in 1968, by H*. V.  Satterfield*, i think it was at this time that the back addition to the house became a seperate apartment, however i am not sure.  It might have been the previous owners that made it an apartment, they were the ones hi did the addition. 

After this there was a man by the name of Otto Brown, I think he died in the home, but this was defiantly his last place of residence.  He was born July 4th,  1898 and died May 1977, he was about 70* and was born and died in the summer. 

In 1979 a John* Marshall pulled a permit for roofing.

Then there is a huge gap,

i know the house was sold in March of 88, and was unqualified, either being a transfer of deed, foreclosure of something of that sort.  It was sold again in dec of 88, qualified, and after that there are more gaps.  I know in 91' a permit was pulled by David Haas

I also know that someone by the name of kima and ray Scott bought the house in 97, unqualified as well.  Well, I am not sure if it helps.  Hope you had a good day, and I will speak with you later

Neighbor:

HI, I thought I would give you a few more 'weird occurrences' to chew on

from our little area in St. Pete. Monday night I was home alone watching TV,

and my neighbors were not home. I heard the screen door next door, and then

the door so I thought they were home. Knowing Nick was in the hospital, I

walked out on my porch to say hi. That is when I noticed the truck was not

there, and the house was still dark. As I looked into the front of the

house, I was immediately 'charged' as I call it, and knew something was

there. There was complete silence, so I asked who it was, and if they were

friendly? Then I asked if I could help? I figured why not, and as I was

walking along the side of the house, I was suddenly drawn to the small

window in the bathroom on the first floor, by the stairs, and then heard the

sound of whispering and then of children laughing, then crying. Needless to

say I was so taken by this I was in my house pretty quickly. For the rest of

the night however I could 'feel' someone watching me from that house, every

time I got up from my couch. It was very strange.

  Then last night M showed me the latest pictures the had taken.

There is one in the attic, in one of the small areas, that she pointed out

to me. She thought she saw a child in the picture, but when  I saw what was

there, it actually frightened me.  It was not a happy child, one however

that wanted to be found and tell a story I felt. The picture seemed to come

alive and I had to actually leave the house. I felt It was telling me there

was nothing I could do but that it is sad to see the children leave. When I

went home, later, that night there were a few moments of weirdness. Again

someone had turned down my comforter on my bed. And a few things

inexplicably fell off the mantle of my fireplace. Thins that couldn't just

'tip over' I think my little haunt was a little jealous...have a good one...

Kept getting the feeling of being locked inside of these walls of the cubby hole.

Kitchen/Laundry Room:  75-78 Deg. Fahrenheit, with one spike, 87 Deg.  EMF Fluxes occurred, a couple minor readings (.01-.20, possible kitchen appliances) and several unknown spikes (.64, .90, .24).

Rear Den:  77-79 Deg. Fahrenheit, with no spikes. No major EMF (.01-.02).

Summations:

     This investigation was a very particular, last minute call for the team.  The homeowners M.V. and D.V. were moving within a few days, and were also caring for two small children, one of which was a toddler.  After the team performed a 'Dry Walk-thru' and we compared notes, we invited the homeowners to share with us some of what they had experienced in the past.  The team then revisited some of the areas with abnormal readings from the house, and once again, talked with the homeowners afterwards.  Several pictures, both digital and traditional were taken, along with three different type EMF meters, compasses, and digital sound equipment being used.  We also used inferred motion detectors, and most importantly two sensitive investigators.

Peaks of Interest:

Our team divided into two teams of four each, and began our "Dry Run" through the house.  The house was slightly in a state of disarray, due to the homeowners being in the process of a move.  The air-conditioning had been shut off several minutes before our arrival, and the house did appear to be well kept and clean.  The weather was nice and clear, and the homeowners took the children outside while we investigated. 

Two rooms in the house seemed to have several spikes of EMF and other anomaly readings using the motion detectors, and our sensitive investigators.  These two rooms, the upstairs loft, and the baby's bedroom both had access to the crawl spaces of the house and or the attic storage areas.  Several pictures and EMF readings were done in both of these rooms resulting in documented spikes from different people, and different equipment at the same time.  Both of our sensitive investigators also picked up on several feelings of potential supernatural images of a child playing 'hide and seek' in the access ways, an older man; possibly a grandfather type figure, and other less informative images.  Several pictures were taken and some orbs did appear in these pictures, but they were all small and very hard to see.  I was most impressed that most of the EMF spikes recorded by different members and myself were either around the .60 reading, or quick off the scale type readings.  Brandy, our senior investigator also hypostasized that this house was possibly located near some lay lines that ran thru the city in this area, and that could be contributing to the anomalous readings.  Motion detectors were also used in both of these rooms, and we did have one or two alarms with nobody un accounted for. 

The homeowners commented after the investigation to several weird occurrences that have happened while living at the house.  Doors seem to be open with a transparent figure starring out into the street while the homeowners are away running errands (according to neighbors), children reporting to parents that a 'man is in the room talking and playing with them' when nobody is home except the mother and children, and other instances of noises and knocks and bumps.  One time, according to the mother of the children, the police were called because she thought that an intruder was in the home, and the children were frightened and ran to the mother to get some comforting.  She assumed that it must be an intruder, not anything supernatural, and called the police to investigate.  Police officers arrived and checked the house and found nothing wrong.  The homeowners also have complained about objects, such as wallets, watches, ect., being  missing from dressers and drawers, then they mysteriously re-appear after searching the house.  Phone service has been known to have been affected as well by static and busy signals when trying to place a call out from the house.  Later when the phone equipment was tested, nothing wrong was found.  The children also state that sometimes they have a playmate there in the room with them, but the parents can't see anyone else in the room and the family isn't having guests over at that time either.

This house seems to have some very interesting attributes to it, for sure.  It is a shame that the homeowners are moving; I would have enjoyed a return visit/investigation to try to establish what is actually going on at this location.  I am not entirely convinced that this is a 'haunting' or 'spirits trapped in-between dimensions', but something strange is occurring at this house.  To many people, homeowners, children, and neighbors have seen odd occurrences and witnessed several events.  Police officers have been called to the house, phone technicians, and our team all has investigated different things, but no answers have been found.  This location should be observed, if possible, for future events and scientifically studied if these types of events continue with new homeowners living there.

Investigators present: Denise, Sue, Sean, Brandy, Jeanne, Cindy, Sandy

Unusual phenomena: Possible second day of the Harvest Moon; family had carpets and furniture professionally cleaned that day (chemical residue); family prepping to move by Sept. 20.

My group (Sean, Sandy, myself) started the pre-investigation in the loft area of the home.

EMF was on 0 - 3 scale; registered a .6

There was one spoke of 1.5 while the meter was on the bed.

Temperature was 78-79 degrees

Sandy reported that her camera would not focus; there was a lot of energy. I felt a bit light headed in the room. I also smelled a rubber scent in the room.

Florida room: 75-76 degrees, .6 on EMF scale; picked up a couple of orb images on the camera

Child's room:

Energy shift

Scented candle in room (negates smell)

76-78 degrees.

I felt a brief headache.

I was called out of the room because Cindy left the home (due to an image she sensed upstairs).

Baby's room: EMF .6

79 degrees

felt cooler when I went in. Sandy would not go in due to sense of energy shift.

Kitchen: 82. degrees, EMF from .5 - .6

Laundry room: 80 degrees, EMF .6

Sean spent quite a bit of time in this room.

Backroom: (TV room): .6 - .8 EMF, 79 degrees

This room was pleasant; light and held a beautiful stained glass image inside.

Discussion:

Sandy: loft: felt an energy shift; when we first arrived she felt someone watching from the second window. A lot of energy coming from the left-hand loft cubby area. Baby's room: door: wave of energy hit her like a "Mac truck" Not a bad feeling about the home, but a powerful on. She thought something was following us through the home.

Denise: 1st walked up to the loft, she felt a male presence near the right window; she kept getting names, ad felt weak in the home; had a sensation of someone associated with kidney failure. Picked up the names: (living room and kitchen area) Andy/Amber, Sullivan, Heather, Shakespeare. Also heard the names Edgar, Edmund, Sara. Noted the older child, aged 3, felt like an "old soul" and thought that an entity might be connected to him. She felt something following the group as we went through the hall. She sensed an older gentleman in his 70s with long hair; longing for something/someone. She also noted a child's spirit; playing peek-a-boo; very quick, could be a place memory.

Sean: Child's room: 2 spikes of .60 on his meter, at the times of Sandy's sensations. The temperature remained the same, laundry room, there was a spike of .60, and there was a spike of .60 upstairs. Noted consistent readings of .60 and wondered if they had a connection.

Cindy: compass spinning, flux in temperature from 71-83 degrees upstairs. She picked up the name Nathan, and felt that a child had been locked in one of the cubby holes upstairs, Possibly as a punishment, sometime in the past (not related to current homeowners). In the kitchen, near the closet, her compass also started to spin, and she noted a temperature change from 71-79 in the living room.

Jeanne: no readings, sensed nothing.

Brandy: See notes above. Most interesting areas are the upstairs loft, Baby's room and the living room.

Decided to check out the loft area, the baby's room and the living room. Because the family's 3-year old was watching tv in the loft, the team went to the baby's room first.

Psy-investigation:

Child's room: Energy shift; no real entity

Loft: Denise sensed someone related to the boy, possibly a grandfather figure; heard the term "Edgar Allen Poe"...my meter went to the top of the 3.0 scale while sitting in the middle of the bed. Reason is unknown, though it was between the two patheways of the dual cubbies in the loft area.

The grandfather figure knew about the move, was attached to the house, and was aware of the children. He had grandchildren of his own in life. Denise, who picked up most on him, felt that he was "distant", and not in the room.

Sandy felt someone behind her at some point.

A small child of the age of 5 years old started to run around the room. He was delighted with us. He was a body, shirtless, and came there to hang out. He may or may not have been associated with the homeowners/home.

Homeowner interview:

Homeowner first contacted me when her 3 year old son said he came across a man with red hair and crinkled eyes in the home. He saw the man twice; though when she went to investigate no one was there.

Reported that neighbors saw lights on and the door open when no one was home.

The children did not like the Baby's room or the front of the house. Both the boy and the little girl refused to sleep in that area; they most often slept upstairs.

The little boy identified "monsters" and "people" who were up in the loft with them.

The family did have an interest and an openness to the paranormal. The husband and wife reported strange phenomena in the loft room (see homeowner's report). The children's godmother also had a strong interest in the paranormal and was very open to it.

Conclusions:

I believe that some of the phenomena may be related to the fact that the homeowners were prepping to move out of the area. Entities often sense major changes within the dwellings, I believe, and respond accordingly.

Friends, family who had not been told of the investigation identified with areas that the SPIRITS felt were "active."

Homeowners reported that activity increased after the investigation; however, I feel some of it may be related to suggestion and possibly to excess attention paid to the entity.

Little is known about the house itself, though it is in an area that was a former "slum" in the 1970s and 1980s. The house was divided up into apartments at one point, then reunified into a house. I don't know if that is where some of the energy comes from or if that is why parts of the house appear to have more energy than others, but I suspect that there is a link.

Overall, the home had a positive feel to it. The hauntings appear to be mild and have become more active since the family started to prep to move. Activity is probably related to this disturbance.

on Friday, September 12, 2003

7:00 - 9:15pm

Homeowner members present:  father, mother, young son, and young daughter.

SPIRITS team members present:  Brandy, Denise, Sandy, Sean, Jeanne, Cindy, Sue.

The psi-sensitives present where:  Denise and Sandy.

During our preliminary walkthrough, we broke up into two teams.  I noticed that

my newly-charged digital camera batteries had already lost 1/2 their power

before we finished.  Sean also mentioned that his batteries went from 20% to 0%

early in the investigation.  After the initial walkthrough, we convened in the

kitchen to discuss our findings.  Both Sandy and Denise said they felt someone

watching from one of the master bedroom windows when we first arrived.  Denise

felt it was a male presence.  Denise told us she received the following names

during her walkthrough:  "SULLIVAN", "ANDY" or "AMBER" when she was in the

living room and kitchen.  She got "HEATHER" and "SHAKESPEARE" when someone

followed her from the living room to the kitchen and then disappeared.  She also

got "SARA" and "EDGAR" or "EDMUND SULLIVAN".  Sandy told us the homeowner's

little boy is a very old soul.  She felt an entity connected to him and had felt

it in the nursery earlier.  Other members shared their impressions also.  I've

recapped their insights below.  We then revisited certain rooms together as one

group.

BABY'S BEDROOM:

During our initial investigation, Sandy said she had felt a wave of energy when

she first opened the door to this room.  It wasn't bad energy, but it was

intense.  Sean said he got 2 spikes up to .60 on his EMF gauge.  I felt heavy

and uncomfortable in this room.  Cindy told us her compass went wild in the

room.  She also heard the name "NATHAN".  Brandy said she started to get a

headache in the room and felt the room was cool.

When we revisited the room as one group, Denise said that the entity that often

accompanies Brandy in her car was there to "visit" with her.  She also said she

keeps getting the image of the old man that she encountered earlier upstairs.

She added that an entity bolted out of the downstairs bedroom when she first

entered.

MASTER BEDROOM (UPSTAIRS):

During our initial walkthrough, when one of the crawlspace doors was opened in

the master bedroom, Cindy began to cry.  She said "He's in there" and then went

downstairs to join the other half of the team.  Later, she told us she felt a

child had been left in the crawl space and locked in there as a punishment.

That's what upset her so much.

Later, when we convened in the kitchen, Sandy told us she had felt an energy

shift at the top landing to the master bedroom earlier.  Denise said when she

turned the corner upstairs, she saw an old man in his 70s with dark receding

hair who looked very fragile.  He then disappeared.  When she had opened the

left closet door, she felt a male child playing peak-a-boo.  Brandy said she had

received an EMF spike earlier.  She also felt a tingly sensation and the smell

of rubber.  Cindy noted she had received temperature fluctuations between 71 and

83 degrees during her initial walkthrough.

During our group investigation, Denise got the name "JONATHAN" and "SUMMER".

She wasn't sure if it was when Jonathan may have died or if it was his last

name.  Cindy said it was the name.  Denise felt Jonathan was related to the boy.

Perhaps his grandfather, but wasn't certain.  She also heard the name "EDGAR

ALLEN POE" sarcastically spoken.  She didn't feel him strongly as if his

presence was actually in the room, but rather as if he was more of a memory. 

Sandy entered the room and said she had a heavy feeling.  She felt someone

standing on the landing looking down into the living room.  Denise said "male"

and then said "JOSEPHINE".  But she didn't feel any female entities present.

When asked why the entity was active now, Sandy said "the move" (the homeowners

are in the process of moving out of the house).  When asked if the children

remind him of his grand kids, Sandy said "yes".  Denise told us that Sandy was

picking up a different energy than the older male she felt earlier who she

identified with "EDGAR" or "EDMUND SULLIVAN".

Denise got a sense of "hiding in the closet".  When I asked if the entity had

locked someone in a closet, Denise said the question made him angry.  She

reiterated that his messages were weak as if he wasn't really in the room.

We found a second crawl space door opposite the first one and near the baby

crib.  When that crawl space door was opened, Sandy felt more energy and sensed

a pathway between the 2 doors.  The EMF gauge also dropped from 3 down to .6.

Denise heard "Why are you coming in?"  "It's my area."  And "Please don't

disturb".  Denise also told us she saw a little boy laughing and standing next

to Sean.  He was 5 years old and came from the closet.

Undisclosedth Avenue North Paranormal Investigation

         This investigation began like many of the others.  Upon walking towards the front of the residence I felt as if I was being watched from the second story, east window.   Inside I found the husband, wife and small toddler in the residence.  While organizing my equipment I heard the name "Sullivan", over and over again.  I also heard "Andy or Amber".  I felt heavy and it was hard to breathe when in the kitchen.  Strangely enough in the living room I also heard the word "Shakespeare" as if it were someone's favorite play.

         While the team walked around the living room and kitchen, I could feel an energy following us around.  It stayed high above us as if not wanting to get too close.  Why, I have no idea.  The home has an indoor laundry room that is between the kitchen and the family room.  "Sara" was yelled out as I walked through these two rooms.  I also was told that the name was "Edgar or Edward Sullivan".  At this point in the investigation, I had only acknowledged names.  No faces had been seen.  It was not until I started upstairs that I was confronted with a spirit.

         As I rounded the corner of the stairs and entered the second floor loft, I saw an elderly man approximately seventy years old, slender with dark receding hair standing in front of me.  He was standing at the top of the stairs peering down at me.  I could feel that he was teetering on fleeing or standing his ground.  Of course once I entered the loft he quickly disappeared and remained only a soft presence.  He did not go away, but made it perfectly clear he would not enter the room where the team was. 

         As the team conducted the communication part of the investigation we found that the baby's room was full of energy, including an old friend of Brandy's (a spirit of course).  Up stairs in the loft I sensed the presence of a five year old boy.  He loved watching us and was running around in a pull up type underwear and no shirt.  He was hiding in the closets and playing with the EMF meter, which was on the bed.  He did not appear to be the least bit frightened of us or his surroundings.  In fact he was an extremely happy and playful child. 

Additional statements from the team:

         Sandy sensed an energy shift at the top of the landing, which led to the loft and a wave of energy in the baby's room.  She also stated that when she first approached the home she felt an energy staring at us through the second floor windows.  Sandy stated an energy was followed us around the home during the investigation. 

         Sean advised he received spikes from the EMF meter in the baby's room, laundry room and the loft.  Sue felt uncomfortable in the baby's room and loft and Brandy advised she had sensations that equaled an allergy attack in the loft and received a headache in the baby's room.  Finally Cindy heard the name Nathan and felt as if a child had been locked inside the loft attic as punishment.  She also received temperature changes in the loft and noticed that her compass would spin in circles. 

         In conclusion it appeared that most of the team members felt the same sensations in the loft and baby's room.  Is there something watching the family and enjoying the small child, or is it just a large amount of energy in the home that is completely normal.  My opinion is someone popped in to see us, why is still a mystery.

Hey Brandi, this is M., you and your group came to our home last September.  We will be in town in one week from today, i believe it is the 7th to the 14th, Saturday to Saturday.  If you all are interested, please let me know, we would love to have you. 

A psychic friend of mine, who knew nothing about the story, emailed me last week and said there was a boy by the name of "Nathan" trying to contact me.  he did not understand why we left, and he misses us.  We have also gotten phone calls here in Chicago, from a St. Pete number.  But when we answer there is no one there.  The number, when we call it back, is not in service.  She did not know this, not even a clue of it.  She asked if the phone rings, and when we answer there is no one there.  I said "yes," she said it was him.  It was very odd.  Anyhow, I hope all is well, and let me know if you are interested, we would love to have you!

hello Brandy,  Thanks so much for coming this evening.  I was reviewing the information that I had recieved on the home.  I am sure the old man is Otto B., and then, after he passed, in the home I believe, a man by the name of John M. bought the home.  Another man.  So, I thought that it was pretty interesting, and explains everything.  I still think the "M" thing was odd.  I am so anxious to see everything.  Let me know.  Talk to you soon, M

I go into the cubby hole into the closet and take pictures and it feels like someone is on my  back, Maria has a picture of me and Dennis with a strange light and an aura by me, Brandi takes pictures. I find a childs toy in the shape of a triangle with 3 holes in it  take pictures of it. It belongs with tinker toy set of sorts.

The group then all go outside to the swing area and take readings, and I take pictures temp readings are around

74'--78'' depending which side of the swing I was on. On the Front side (facing the garage) of the swing temp reading was 74', on the back side of the swing temp reading was 78'.????? 

Outside temp reading was 77'.

Have pictures with multiple orbs in them.

Friday the 13th at 5:30 a.m. was awakened by someone/feeling of desperation/uneasyness. I new in my heart that it was Nathan. For some reason he thought I was not going to go the house. I had to repeatedly tell him over and over that I was coming that I was not, not going. I told him that I would be there that evening, that I was coming to the house. Finally after explaining to him that I had not been sleeping well the last few nights and that I needed my rest he happily faded away and let me go to sleep and as he was leaving it was a calming reassuring feeling that I felt.

Come to find out at dinner our group was down to only 3.

In pic 6 there maybe a large orb on Nicole's chest............this was at the exact time I was experiencing the rotting stench smell. The last pic #24 I think there is an orb in one of the crawl spaces.

Denise, Linda, Nicole and I started down stairs. The first room we investigated was the old family room. I had an uneasy feeling around the bathroom area, but nothing else.

Second Bedroom: As soon as we walked into the second bedroom, Denise opened the closet door. I immediately got a headache. I walk to the out side wall and started smelling a really foul rotting smell. THIS IS EXTREMELY UNUSUAL FOR ME!!! I HAVE A VERY WEAK OR GREATLY IMPAIRED SENSE OF SMELL. The Smell was so strong I held my nose and thought I was going to be sick. I did not mention this to the others because this was a silent walk through.

Upstairs loft-- Crawl space opposite stairwell very creepy. I started to enter, but backed out once I looked inside. We all experienced camera trouble at about the same time.

Outside: Crawl space underneath second bedroom--very uneasy feeling as we walked past. In the back yard, all the cameras went out along with the flashlights. I once again smelt the foul rotting smell and then a very cold breeze.

Yes, I think this house is haunted. At least one thing I can say about it.....for a brief amount of time a I had a very strong sense of smell.

Upon entering home for first time felt a sense of agitation in formal living room

Family room:   A few blips on the meter but could have been associated with outlets I was near.   Some of the cameras' flashes started to malfunction.

Kitchen/ Laundry room no electronic reading changes.

2nd Bedroom:  no emf

Nursery:   no emf but flashes on cameras working sporadically

Front Porch: no emf

Loft:   Crawl space front right:  emf into the red:  got the sense that someone was hiding.  When I first started to crawl into the crawl space I got creeped.  How I define creeped is the big shuddering chill that makes you jump and spurred the expression "someone just walked on my grave".

         Crawl space facing back right  emf into red.  

Most of the camera's shut down several times and flashes worked sporadically while in the loft. 

Just in case there were electrical wires in the crawl spaces I couldn't see I went back to each of the crawl spaces that the emf went into the red to see if I could get the same reading again and did not.  I think a consistent reading would indicate wiring but I'm not an electrician.

Got the sense that there was more than one entity in the house.

Back yard:   Too dark to read emf but flashes and flashlights quit working.  I also got creeped again.

By far the most exciting investigation I've been on since there was so much electronic evidence to substantiate what the sensitives were picking up.

When I first entered the house, I felt fine. Nothing out of the ordinary. Once I got upstairs into the loft, I started sweating profusely. I don't sweat like that. But it could also be accredited to the temperature change from coming in from outside to inside.

I started taking pictures of the right side closet cubby hole. I took two pictures. There was a lot of dust and wires. The EMF meter went up drastically on the 0-3 scale.  But once changed to the 0-100 scale the needle was back at the start position. The needle jump was probably from the wires.

I then moved to the left closet and the cubby hole there. Immediately I felt as if someone used that space as a hideout. I felt as if there was laughter there. I did not hear the laughter though. I found a plastic toy car. It was yellow and had the writing Speedy Toto and the number 16 on a sticker. The writing was in a neon green and white. The car was missing one wheel. It was positioned about 3 inches from the opening off the cubby hole, behind the pipe. There was a blue triangle with three holes in it in the cubby also. I did not take too much stock into that. It was not until Cindy picked it up during our second walk through that we concluded that it was a wooden building toy of some sort. An early version of KNEX.

I picked up the toy car at Brandy's suggestion to give back the toy to the homeowner's son to keep him occupied. I took two pictures of the cubby hole before I picked up the car with my digital camera. In the two pictures, the car is clearly visible. Those two pictures have now disappeared from my camera.

The EMF reading on both the 0-3 scale and the 0-100 scale was negative.

Proceeding to the loft left wall cubby hole there was negative reading on the EMF's 0-3 and 0-100 scale. Here though I also got he distinct feeling that it was used as a hideout of sort. I felt remnants of laughter but also remnants of sadness. I also took two pictures of the cubby hole.

Moving to the loft right wall cubby hole, I did not feel anything particular about this space. The EMF reading on the 0-3 and the 0-100 scale both read negative. I also took two pictures of the cubby hole.

We then moved as a group to the nursery. The temperature of the nursery was 75*.  The EMF reading on a 0-100 scale was negative. On the 0-3 scale, there was a reading of 1.4. The nursery was clean, but I got a feeling of confusion. It was as if something wasn't right. I looked at the walls and wondered what happened to them. It was then mentioned that the walls had been painted over, and then a sense of calm came over me. But I was still uncomfortable in the room.

I felt nothing particular about the downstairs bedroom. The temperature was 75*. The EMF meter on the 0-3 scale was .6 and negative on the 0-100 scale. I had an urge to take a picture of the bathroom though. Particularly the mirror. I didn't know what that meant at the time, but later it was revealed that a woman may also haunt that house.

Moving into the kitchen I felt uneasy. My first reaction was to go to the pantry and grab something out and eat. On the 0-3 scale of the EMF there was a reading of .2 and negative on the 0-100 scale. The temperature was 74*. This could be due to the tile flooring.

Upon entering the laundry room the temperature was 74*. On the 0-3 scale of the EMF, there was a reading of .6 and negative on the 0-100 scale. All of a sudden though Brook(e?)'s EMF meter started sounding off. Cindy's compass was spinning out of control, as was Brandy's. Cindy then took another temperature reading, this time starting from the back wall by the doorway and getting a reading of 73*. Moving forward she then got a reading of 74*, 75*, 74* and finally ending up at the opposite end from where she started, a reading of 73*. All the washing machines in the room were off and unplugged. Brandy's digital camera refused to take pictures, and her camcorder would not turn on. Cindy's cameras kept malfunctioning too.

We corresponded with the team upstairs. They too were getting activity. We tried a little experiment and pinpointed where the activities were happening. They were relatively in the same vicinity.

Cindy then tested the temperature outside. It was 70* by the door, 69* at the top stair of the deck, 70* in front of the window, and 69* by the garage door. The homeowners' thermometer read 72*. The activity lasted 5-8 minutes. It ended at 7:50.

We then moved to the family room. I got no exceptional feeling from the room. It was 73* closest to the porch and 74* by the kitchen. On the 0-3 scale there was a reading of .6,and negative in the 0-100 scale.

On the porch there was a temperature reading of 72* and a 1.4 EMF meter reading in the 0-3 scale and a negative reading in the 0-100 scale. This could be due to the light switch that was close by. When put next to the light switch the EMF meter's needle jumped drastically.

The living room temperature was 72* and had a reading of .6 on the 0-3 scale and a negative reading in the 0-100 scale. I felt nothing too remarkable about this room.

During our discussion, after everyone was done with the silent walkthrough, it was suggested that I put the toy racecar back in the left closet cubby hole. As I approached the closet, I felt uneasy. It was as if someone was angry with me. There was a feeling of hostility in the air. I put the car in the same position as I found it and hightailed it out of that area.

Returning to the closet during our second walk through, there was the same angry air that I was greeted with before. Then it subsided and there was the sense of laughter once again returning to the area.

Upon waking on February 14, 2004, I woke up to a little boy's blurred face with brown hair playing with same yellow toy car. There was a red/orange kickball behind him. He was in the loft's left wall cubby hole. He was smiling and laughing. He was happy.

As we began our silent walk-through, while passing through the kitchen I first heard/ or thought "I don't like what they did to this house". Heard it two more times.

Entered the family room- 75.5 degrees, felt an old lady standing in front of the closet.

Kitchen- 76 degrees/ no fluctuations, felt a certain uneasiness coming from the ceiling and out of the pantry.

Second bedroom- 74.5 degrees, felt as if a male energy, young (20's or teens?) was hiding behind door.

Living room- 82 degrees, not much except the urge to take one picture in center of living room.

Loft- I was really attracted to the back crawl space where the car was found by the first team (the car was not there when my team was in loft).Definitely felt something, but I would describe this as a male, somewhat aggressive large energy. At one point, we decided to turn the lights off and the digital cameras started to have problems and Denise went downstairs to switch her batteries which was apparently what Brandy was doing as well due to phenomena that team was experiencing.

Stairwell-heard"M" and had the impression of a woman in her thirties.

Switched my 35mm for one of Brandy's digitals.

Outside- My flashlight drained. Felt very strongly attracted to the swing, I think that I was able to take one or two pictures before her camera died. Denise's camera started to act up again.

After the group decided on focus points, Charles, Linda and me headed to laundry room, no occurrences. (my flashlight was working again)

All of us went outside; my flashlight died again, took the remaining pictures on my 35mm.

I don't have my pictures back (from now on I will use digital) so I am very curious to see the results.

Silent Walkthrough: 

This was a very interesting house. Even before the investigation begun, I had a spike of magnetic activity that lasted a minute and a half. I was standing on the ground floor beside the staircase and at the point where the stairs make their first turn to continue upstairs. My meter was resting on the staircase at the turn of the stairs. The meter registered 3 huge magnetic spikes of around 5-6. These are quite large spikes. For comparison, a large 27" color TV only makes a magnetic spike of .5  1.5 when measured 6 inches from the screen.

Out of the 53 pictures I took during the silent walkthrough, I did not capture any anomalies or orbs.

The next notable occurrence happened while investigating the laundry room. The event began at approximately 7:40 and lasted for approximately 7-8 minutes. Cindy's compass started spinning. Also, my EMF meter registered above average magnetic spikes over the entire 7-8 minute period. The spikes ranged from 1-2 on the meter (nominal being .25-.50). Brandy's camera stopped functioning at this time and she had to go to the living room to retrieve more batteries. In the living room, Denise told Brandy that similar camera failures were being experienced upstairs at the same time. When Brandy returned to our team we proceeded outside to see if there were normal explanations for the meter spikes. We found no such natural explanations.

After having investigated outside for a few minutes, we returned inside the house. The only other notable events on the silent walkthrough were 2-3 very small spikes (1 on the meter) that lasted less than a couple seconds in the back family (TV) room.

Targeted Investigation:

In our targeted investigation we decided to concentrate on the upstairs room, the laundry room, and the backyard near the swing. Unfortunately, I did not have or witness any notable events on the targeted investigation.

Conclusion:

In my opinion, there is definite activity in this house. The two events I witnessed did not seem to have any normal explanations. Another recheck would be nice to do in the future. But, since the house was just sold, a recheck does not seem likely.

2/13/04

Half Moon, investigation started at 7:04.

Investigators present:  Cindy, Brandy, Brook, Nicole, Denise, Linda, Charles, Maria (arrived late).

Homeowners, son, neighbors, dog.

SPIRITS split into two teams.  I went with Maria (1st investigation), Brook, Cindy.

Note:  Unless otherwise noted, I used the 0-3 scale for my EMF trifield meter.  Homeowners have moved out of this home and are currently residing in a home up north.  This home was recently sold; this was one of the last operations from the home.  When we went into the house it was devoid of furniture and any other items and furniture.

Pre investigation:

Bedroom/loft:

Closets:  EMF due to wires?

EMF .2 - .6, 78 degrees

76  in left cubby, 79 in right cubby.

A yellow car was found in the upper left hand cubby in the closets in the former MA bedroom.

Nursery:  75 degrees.

1.4 on 0-3 scale.

Downstairs bedroom: Boy's room:

.6 EMF, 75 degrees.

Kitchen:  74 degrees

Cooler because of the tile?

Camera hesitant.

.2 EMF

Left arm felt warm. 

73 degrees in kitchen cubby, 74 in bathroom.

Laundry room:

74 degrees.

Batteries drained in my cameras and video recorder.

Possibly corresponding to activity experienced by the other SPIRITS team upstairs. 

5 - 10 minutes of compass spinning, EMF registered.

Outside temp is 70 - 72.

We also went outside to verify what kind of activity was going on.  Outside had no wires or active electricity on; why we continued to register the EMF and had batteries die was unknown, unless attributed to synchronicity or paranormal behavior.

I went to get new batteries and saw Denise on the stairwell.  She asked to use my spare digital camera; at that exact same time they were also having paranormal activity upstairs.  For both areas to have paranormal activity at once was fantastic and exceptionally rare.

Approximate time of activities:  7:40 - 7:47 p.m.

TV/Family room:  little to no activity. 

Foyer:  1.5 EMF

Steady, reading

72 degrees

Possibly due to light switches.

Sitting room/living room:  Due to distraction by children and dogs, went upstairs.

75 degrees,

.6 on 0 - 3 scale.

Charles:  Family room, bathroom, and  2nd bedroom.  Headache and smell.

Unusual  for Charles to detect a smell.  He said it was like a stenchhorrible and overwhelming, though no one else reported it.

He was uncomfortable with the crawl spaces in the bedroom/loft.

Outdoors:  He had an uneasy feeling; garage areas, felt a strong cold spot and smelled an aroma.

Linda:  Front room:  Agitation

No problems with spikes

Nursery:  Jacob

Camera had problems in nursery.

Loft:  Her EMF was red in the crawl space

Felt like someone was hiding in there.

Flashes went crazy; would not work while upstairs.

She also reported feeling cold outside.

Nicole:  2nd bedroom:  to kitchen; back of family room, felt an "old lady"

Family room:  entity didn't like what they did to this house

Kitchen area:  felt an odd feeling in the pantry.  She felt something was hiding behind the door; a young male.

Closet in cubby:  felt something, then nothing.

She sensed a big male, older man.

A woman on the stairwell in her 30s.

Camera died.  Batteries diedduring the same time the others experienced the smell and chill.

Denise:  Nervous wreck coming in.  Sick to her stomach; didn't want to be here.  Nothing downstairs.  The lights were off; cameras stopped working.  She felt a solemn male energy, older.  Feels that this may be the presence from beforesensed orbs in backyard.  Her camera died

She sensed the name Jonathan, Matthew, Rileyfelt stranded here.

Maria felt hot:  sweating profusely. 

Thought there was a loft there for the little boy to hide out in.  She found the toy; took pictures per my instructions yet when she went to find the image on her camera it was not there. 

Downstairs room she felt confusion.  In the kitchen, she felt the desire to go to the pantry and get food

Brook:  Downstairs, meter on the stairs had 3 - 4 spikes of 5 - 6 readings, which he described as "huge jumps"these happened over a couple of minutes.  I was not present as I was waiting for Maria outside.

Nothing upstairs.

Laundry room:  meter went off 1 - 1.5, for 5 - 10 minutes.  He noted the compass spinning in the family room.

Cindy:  Headaches when she first walked in.  Opened up and heard "Nathan" -- he greeted her.  "Welcome back".

He is a little boy, 6 years old or so.  He liked the left cubby hole.

Headache in nursery.

Laundry room:  compass spinning and camera shut off.

Outside:  Checked the area by the garage and tree.  EMF low.

Second walkthrough produced few results in the house, though outside we caught several orb images around the swing.

Homeowner interview:

Homeowner was in a psychic chat room.  She had one woman who e-mailed her and said that she had an old swing that swings back and forth and a little boy who misses homeowners. 

The psychic heard the name "Mandi" -- only person that the homeowner knew with a similar name was me, Brandy.

Had phone calls where no one was there, but the number was from St. Petersburg. 

Heard reports from realtor that one woman came to the open house, walked in, asked if it was haunted, and left. 

Realtor also reported hearing children playing in the house, but found no one there.  Also saw the gate open and close on its own.

Investigator's Conclusion:

This was an interesting case.  First, we got to do a recheck of the property and we still had anomalous behaviors in the home.  I think this was the first time where two teams had simultaneous activity upstairs and downstairs.

It was interesting that folks who had never been on site also picked up information about a solitary old man in the house.  There was a man who was reported to have died of natural causes in the home. New and old members also picked up on  the little boy who dwelled in the home as well. 

The car was odd:  homeowner did not know of it, did not leave it, and it was not something she had in the house before they moved.  She does not know where it came from.  Markings on the car include "Speedy 1010, Automotive TKK EPS, Ngood gear"we do not know how it came into the house, but also remember that they did have open houses.  It is possible, though improbably, that the car could have been brought in during the open house.

I think there is something in the home since these same presences were picked up again.  However, these entities seem to be very mild and relatively harmless.  It's sad that they miss the homeowners.
