Jeanne's report:
Five members were present for the New Port Richey investigation- Brandy, Denise, David, Scott, and myself. We stayed together as one group for the first walk through. I got no unexplained EMF anywhere in the house. Brandy was getting occasional spikes in the master bedroom, and the back bedroom. On our second walk through, we went to the back bedroom first. There was a large 4 poster bed in the room. Scott and David both felt something there. Scott felt a feeling of comfort. David felt closed in and uncomfortable. He said that the feeling seemed attached to the furniture. They both said that the energy was very faint. Next, we moved to the master bedroom. Denise felt a male energy, possibly someone in the military. Scott also sensed a father figure, who seemed attached to the homeowner's husband. He felt that he was a mentor to him. We put the digital recorder down, and asked questions. We also set down the EMF meter, and asked if he could move the needle to answer questions. It spiked several times after some questions. The energy grew very faint, and we decided to move on to the next room. We sat in the dining room with the homeowner, and Scott felt a male energy again. He got the name "Charles", and felt that he died from an accident, or a head or neck injury. Also, Scott kept hearing whispering around him, and he couldn't make out what it was saying. The homeowner told us that her husband's father's name was Charles, and that he was a military man. He died in the 80's. She also said that the furniture in the back bedroom had belonged to a male friend who had died. She told us about some of the other things that had been happening, like hearing footsteps in the living room, and hearing a voice out on the patio, and doors unlocking themselves. While we were talking, Scott and Denise felt a cold breeze at the same time. We did another session of questions with the recorder and the EMF meter. David felt that the energy was very upset about the military, that he didn't want someone to join, or go to war. The homeowner said that her husband's sister was possibly going to be sent to Iraq. David said that the energy was very anxious about that, and wanted her not to go. The sensitives said that they all felt him very strongly at this point. Scott felt like someone was pressing down on his shoulders. The energy seemed to want to get across the point to alert her not to go. Scott felt some significance to the date August 28th. The energy went weak again, and we decided to wrap up. When I checked my digital pictures later, out of 33 pictures, I got 5 with faint orbs. I listened to the digital recordings of our question sessions, and can hear a faint whispering in one spot. I can't understand it. On my next meeting with the SPIRITS, I'll have the others listen to it to see what they hear.
David's report:
June 18, 2005
A day or two before the investigation, I had the feeling that this was
going to be a control investigation - meaning, a house that actually
wasn't haunted. This, unfortunately, will be my last investigation
with the SPIRITS team for a while. I'll be moving to California next
week. And I had a feeling that this last investigation was going to
be relatively uneventful. I just didn't see much happening.
On the carpool ride over, Denise (another psi-sensitive in the group)
admitted that she felt the same way. That it either wasn't haunted at
all--or it was just some family members, but nothing major going on.
Also present at the investigation were Jeanne, Scott, and Brandy.
Scott is also psi-sensitive. Before we started, I jokingly told him
that we were going to have to rely on his sensitivity a lot this time.
Denise has been going through some emotionally-draining personal
family matters recently, and I've been emotionally drained from
everything involved with my move across the country. As such, we
didn't know how well or how accurately we'd be able to sense things
tonight.
Throughout most of the investigation, I could barely sense anything at all.
Before we started, I used the bathroom very quickly. While there, I
thought I felt a presence nearby, on the other side of the shower
curtains. But I couldn't make out any details. I made a mental note
of it and finished my business.
Briefly in the master bedroom, I thought I felt a female entity, but
again...it was faint and fleeting.
In the "yellow room" (named for its yellow walls), I felt a sadness
somehow residual on the bed frame and posts. We later learned from
the homeowner that a man had given the homeowner that furniture
shortly before he died. Although we can't confirm it, the homeowner
suspects he knew his time was coming soon. The man gave away a lot of
furniture and other possessions shortly before passing away.
But other than that, I couldn't really sense ANYTHING. And everything
I did pick up was extremely weak and faint. I really had to "boost
the signal" just to pick up anything. Denise and Scott had a similar
experience, but managed to pick up bits and pieces of other things.
Collectively, we agreed on a few common details...the ones that came
most strongly and most often. There were several other details,
however, that didn't match up. We were trying very hard to sense and
interpret the very weak energy that we could. My guess is that we
were unable to get a clear, concise message...so we did the best we
could with the fragmented information.
Fortunately, the main themes and commonly agreed upon details were
confirmed by the homeowner, identifying her husband's deceased father.
After Denise and Scott mentioned him, I was also able to barely pick
up on the male's presence. Often, the energy came and went, fading
frequently. Details of his death were sketchy, but we were all able
to agree on his military affiliation. The homeowner later confirmed
that he was very much a military man, and proud of it--as was most of
the family.
Even though his presence was weak, we tried the standard question &
answer part of the investigation. Denise asked several standard
questions, allowing sufficient time for the entity to respond.
Instead, however, I felt he (the entity) was having a hard time
communicating or interacting with us at all--and he felt frustrated
that she was asking the questions "too quickly."
However, it wasn't long that we struck on something important. The
man's daughter (sister-in-law to the homeowner) is currently serving
in the reserves. Apparently, we gathered from this entity, she was
going to be sent to Iraq later this year--and he didn't want her
going! Suddenly his presence and energy was much more focused, clear,
and easy to sense. He was passionate about this. Angry, even. He
really didn't want her going--he didn't want her seeing the horrors of
war, or something along those lines. That she'd "lose her innocence"
or be impacted in a negative way if she went. And he didn't want his
daughter going to Iraq.
The man seemed to move back and forth between me and Scott, passing on
his message. Both Scott and I sensed the same information. Even
after we had gotten off the subject slightly, I still felt him
repeatedly strongly giving me this same message. I told the
homeowner. I wasn't sure what to advise or what could be done--but I
needed to pass on what I was getting. I guess the entity felt he got
his message across...and he left me be.
After that, I was exhausted and emotionally drained--not all from this
investigation. With everything else going on in my life right now, it
didn't take much before I was spent.
We did learn, however, that the homeowner also had some unusual
paranormal experiences involving a child. At one point, she was alone
outside and thought she heard a little girl say "hi." Other times,
the homeowner heard child-like footsteps moving through the kitchen at
night--but her son was asleep in bed.
We speculate that the female entity we sensed earlier was this girl.
But we were unable to determine who she was or where she came from.
Our best guess is that she's a "neighborhood ghost," just popping in
here and there around the neighborhood.
All in all, it was very difficult to sense anything at all. At one
point, I even mentioned that I wouldn't be surprised if this was a
control house investigation. Ironically, Brandy mentioned afterwards
that it was supposed to be a control house. And true to Denise's
prediction, if we did sense anything at all (which it appears we did),
that it would be family related.
The house itself isn't that old. About seven years, if I recall
correctly. The homeowner moved in only this past December. Any
paranormal activity that is going on, she said, she didn't mind.
Still, I wonder why the energy was so weak, why we hard such a hard
time picking up any clear details. In past investigations, we've
noticed that entities that have been dead for a long time tend to be a
little weak and faded. But this man tonight only passed away in the
late 1980's. So I wonder if time really is a factor or not, in how
strongly an entity can manifest and interact with the physical world.
Or perhaps, as it was suggested, he still hadn't learned how to
communicate and interact with us yet. Maybe some other factor or
variable was at play, instead.
I joined this team in the hopes of better understanding life after
death. While my experiences have convinced me that some part of us
does continue to exist after our bodies die...most other details
beyond that remain a mystery. Each new answer brings about more
questions.
Maybe I'll just have to wait until I get there myself to find out. lol.

June 18, 2005
Scott E's report:
The New Port Richie ghost investigation on the 18th of June, was rather difficult for me. The energy there was so weak that it was hard to pin point who or what I was in communication with. The more powerful of the energies that I felt was that of Charles. Charles was in his 60s and was once in the military. I feel that he has close ties to the husband of the home. Charles was there to communicate to the family about one of the other family members going to war. He became stronger when this subject was brought up while we sat in the kitchen. Charles, although a very proud military man in life, did not want the family member to serve in the Iraq war.
After talking with the home owner it was discovered that Charles was the name of the father to the husband and passed away in the late 80s. Charles was in his 40s when he passed, so this bring up the question "Do ghost age after death?" While on this world, Charles was a career military man and his daughter, Jennifer, is still in the military. I feel that Charles selected his son to communicate his message to Jennifer due to the interest of home owner's wife. While in the home I could hear light whispering in my right ear while setting in the kitchen. I could not tune into who it was speaking but it happened whenever I was setting at the kitchen table.
The energies in the home was so weak that a single walk through with sage could remove the paranormal activities.

Discussion:
Jeanne: Nothing
Scott: heard "Charles" an older gentleman. 65 years of age. Bald, in a suite (brown) with striped tie. Fatherly figure.
Felt heat in the MA bedroom. Head hurt in closet.
Before investigation, he had a dream about doors that opened up; said they were similar to the ones on the closets of the house we were in.
Felt cold in yellow room.
While talking, got the name "Richard", Charles Richardson.
Felt that someone was standing in the sitting room where we were. Kept smelling pickles.
David: Didn't feel tuned in, but what he felt was very weak. In the MA bedroom he felt a female energy, which disappeared. In the Yellow room, he felt a sad feeling, possibly energy residue.
Bathroom by guest room, he felt that someone was behind the shower curtain when he was in there prior to the start of the investigation.
He felt a faint heaviness.
Denise: Felt nothing except in main area (living room and sitting area). She thought that there was a family member attached to the homeowner. It was a relative that passed over. Something that was handed down was important. She sensed a female, Beverly. She had something homemade that was in the house. She sensed a male energy, a military man. Got the names Gordon and Henry.
Her camera died in the garage.
Brandy: Got orbs in pictures #20, #11 (sitting room), and #7 (MA bedroom). EMF spikes in MA bedroom, yellow room. Small spikes in child and sports room, sitting room.
Scott added that he heard a whispering in the right ear.
Group decided to go into the MA bedroom, Yellow Room, Living room, and sitting room.
Yellow Room: Bedroom 2:
Notably cooler.
EMF .6
Discussion: Larger furniture could cause sensations of sadness. Scott felt comfortable there.
MA Bedroom: 1.2:
Male energy attached to husband (spike in EMF meter).
Was he a mentor to husband? (No response)
Not directly related to husband? Older male?
Child was here, blonde female child. She was the one whispering in Scott's ear.
Did you know Gordon? Spike
Henry? (None)
Were you law partners? (Spike).
So little energy in the room; hard to determine answers. Hard to determine what ws going on. Felt "breezy" and light not good for psi-sensitives to connect to.
Sitting Room:
Someone died in 1996 97. Remembers Bill Clinton. Died in an accident? David felt a foot or fall problem. (Spikes on EMF meter)
Scott sensed hip area, neck and above, and something about a mechanical incident.
He died, but not due to old age.
Homeowner came into the room. Energy remained "extremely faint".
Homeowner Interview:
Only "yes" answers on questionnaire:
Peripheral vision manifestations; Abnormal behavior of doors a locked door was found unlocked. Heard footsteps. Heard a voice. Has potential psi-sensitivity in history. Grandmother had senses, her mother could read palms. She felt that she had a strong gut instinct. Homeowner also revealed that at the prior house her grandmother may have tried to communicate, via a child's battery operated toy that kept going off for no reason.
Other phenomena reported:
All within the last 6 months:
Footsteps in kitchen (3 times, heard by husband, mother, and herself).
Voice heard in backyard, 11 p.m., when homeowner was by herself. Heard "hi".
Homeowner revealed:
Yellow Room: Furniture not new. It belonged to an older gentleman, eccentric, smart. When he moved, he gave all his furniture to her without accepting payment and insisting that she take it. He died 1 month later of a massive heart attack.
The military man/Charles:
Charles could be her husband's father's name. He died in the late 1980's. He was in the military and died of lung cancer. He did serve during a war era, but possibly not in active combat.
A week and a half ago, her son (who is very young and never knew his grandfather) said to his parents quite suddenly, "Daddy, I'm sorry that your dad's not here any more." Parents never discussed grandfather with him.
Another possibility that homeowner offered us: In the 1980s she played with a ouija board. She got in contact with a spirit by the names of Charles Gore. She didn't think that he was in the home.
Grandmother was possibly the Beverly reference (her name was Bonnie). The big clock in the living room was a gift to her from her grandmother for the wedding. Dried flowers were also kept on the bookshelf from her grandmother's funeral.
She had been in the hoe since December (6 months). She heard footsteps in kitchen. The first time these happened, her husband and mother witnessed them. 1 week later she heard what she thought was a small child walking on the kitchen floor in bare feet. She heard this two times, including the week before the SPIRITS came out to investigate.
She heard a voice outside while she was sitting by herself. It was a small child, possibly a little girl, saying "Hiiii!" Sounded very young (4 5 years old).
The night before the SPIRITS came out she was cleaning out a cat box. She noted that the door out to the pool was locked. When she went back an hour later, the door was unlocked and unlatched. Husband had just come home and said that he didn't touch it. She didn't unlock it (and self-describes as very very careful about locking doors).
She has researched the home and cannot find anything on a drowning in the area. Both her husband's father and her husband had been in the military. Her husband's father made a career of it; son left earlier.
(While we discussed this, Scott and Denise reported a very cold breeze that blew between them. They sat at opposite ends of the dinner table).
We tried an EVP at 8:40, with the homeowner present.
On 0 3 scale, the EMF was .8 1.0 on EMF.
Denise; Anyone here? Charles? Are you related to anyone that lives here? Are you in the military:
Brandy: Do you have a message to pass on? (Notes ticking clock).
Scott: In the military, did you work with diesel? (Noted that he suddenly smelled very strong fuel fumes). Were you a mechanic? Do you visit your grandson?
David: Did you die before your grandson was born? (Heard "yes" and the EMF meter spiked to 1.5).
David reported a sense of frustration from entity. We asked too fast, and it was too weak to reply quickly. Felt that it was related to husband.
Scott: Was there something with a plane carahs? Neck issue?
David? Were you a Captain? Spike. Proud of military background? (2nd spike).
Scott: Is anyone else in the military? The sister in law? (Volunteered by homeowner earlier). Spike 1.5
Scott: Anger is flowing. Upset about Iraq. Concerned.
Homeowner: She changed unites. She was not yet called over.
David: She's his daughter. I heard "my daughter."
Scott: Very protective of son. He doesn't want to see his son in the military or in war.
David: He is upset about his daughter in the military.
Denise: He is pacing back and forth between David and Scott.
Brandy: Do you have a message to pass on?
Semper Fi.
Didn't make sense; he was in Airforce. However, homeowner's grandfather was in Marine Corps.
Are the father and grandfather together?
Scott: One thing to get across: Alert her that this is coming; date: August 28th.
Denise: For verification: Tell us the daughter's name.
(Homeowner had told us before that it was Jennifer). Scott guessed Karri, Brnda. David got a S name Susan, Cindy. Denise got "Sh" Shandra?
Homeowner: His ex-wife was Sheila.
David: Father figure, family figures well. Relatives. Very concerned; don't let daughter go to Iraq. Would lose "innocence"(Daughter is a full adult; but homeowner told us that daughter is also the first born child, now in her 40's).
Scott: If the footsteps bother you, sage the house. It's probably a walk in entity and very weak.
David: Charles feels that he is partially responsible for daughter in the military because of his own involvement and career in military.
Around 9:00 the entity started to fade out. Ended session.
Conclusions:
This was a very strange investigation. I was told it was a control, and assumed there was no haunted activity in the home. Homeowner filled out forms when we got there, and I intentionally did not look at what she filled out. I was glad to note that I am not influencing the ghost hunts. Since I thought it was a control then at least I am not influencing the others or tipping my hat to any information. Otherwise, the SPIRITS might not have "sensed" anything. I was surprised at the amount of accuracy with the father's father, even for such a weak spirit.
Also surprised that Denise and David both predicted that it would be a control house. Not sure how they knew; both said it was just a "gut instinct".
The blonde girl: this could either be a walk in or a ghost that is attached with one of us. I am curious about that.
Overall, I was pleased with the investigation. I was a bit concerned because the "entity" was so emphatic with "no war," yet this was a family with a long history of military involvement. I hoped that we did not offense the homeowner, or that some of it was not personal feelings bleeding through. However, the SPIRITS does not really discuss politics among members so, in truth, I don't think the conversation represented personal feelings.
Denise's Report:
Suburbs of NPR
By, Denise
On June 18, at 630 pm the SPIRITS investigative team arrived at a home in the suburbs of New Port Richey. We were there to investigate possible paranormal activity. Prior to arriving, I mentioned to another teammate that I had felt this home was going to be a "Controlled home or visited by family members". I did not feel that there would be much, if anything, going on. The other team member agreed with me and stated he had the same feelings. Interesting enough was that we were both right. This was a "Controlled home" and what we sensed (which appeared to be validated by the homeowner) was in fact family members or close friends stopping by to say hello.
Once entering the residence and setting up, I felt the presence of two specific entities. The first was of an older female named Beverly. She was very demanding on the message she was wishing to pass on to the female homeowner. Beverly wanted validation by saying that she had made something for or with the homeowner. The word "Homemade" kept piercing my mind. It was not until after the hunt when the homeowner was reminded that she had a caregiver named "Beverly" and that together they made and decorated a "Homemade" plate. The plate was still in the homeowner's possession. Thank you for this validation.
The male entity was of an older man whom had served in the military. He had served during one of the wars, but was not directly involved. I did not sense that he was serving in battle, but was behind the scenes. I was led to the living room closet and saw a photo of a man in uniform. Although this was not the man I felt, I did feel that he was confirming his military status to me. The entity felt as if he was strongly attached to the male homeowner.
Throughout the home, I did not sense anything. The strongest sensations were in the family room. Later Scott, another sensitive on the team, felt as if there was whispering in his ear. I sensed a small child 4 or 5 had entered the home and was trying to get her presence known. The sensitives on the team later felt that she was a drowning victim. The homeowner was advised later that there might have been a child fitting this age range who had died in the pond, which used to be behind the residence. This was another possible validation.
During the evening, the sensitives were talking with the male entity (who I had felt in the beginning of the investigation). He was possibly the father of the male homeowner. It appeared that the demographics did fit him. He was a strong military figure and has several children who enlisted in the military also. He seemed concerned that one of his children may have to serve in the Iraq war. These concerns were passed along to the homeowner for future reference.
I should be noted that there is no evidence to confirm that there are any issues involving the war and other family members, there for, this information should be viewed as such. Overall, the investigation did turn out the way I predicted it and we seemed to have most of our information validated by the homeowner. It was a nice relaxing hunt.
The END
Post Investigation Communication with Homeowner:
Below is some added information from my mom. Remember I told you she reads
palms and has "special gifts"? Denise came up with the name Beverly and
that she made something homemade. I have a hand painted plate in the china
cabinet in the front living room (where you first sat down). I was about 6
years old and I "helped" her paint it. The man's name who gave me the
furniture in the yellow room was Peter Holm (I finally remembered). Any
way, read on.
>I went to the website itself. I read the entire report. SPOOKY!!!!!! I
>bet you had a good time. I believe the yellow room with the poster bed is
>being visited by that very intelligent gentleman who gave it to you. I
>even think I have heard him. When the report mentioned about Jennifer and
>Iraq (AND CHARLES) I got goosebumps. The visiting "girl" is very
>interesting. She could be a neighborhood child who did drown in one of the
>lakes nearby. You might want to look into it. After all, at one time this
>was a very rural area. Maybe looking into drownings in the NPR area, going
>back quite a few years, could give you some answers. The orbs are where I
>suspected. One in the living room but most in the kitchen/dining/sitting
>area. Was there ever a home on this property in the past? Just wondering.
> Maybe a barn.
>
>When the report mentioned the man who had a dream about the closet doors
>and the doors were what he saw in your house.....WOW! Control house.
>HAHA. LOL. The spirits are everywhere. We have no control.
>
>Glad to know that Bonnie may be with you and the clocks. Makes sense. By
>the way; Beverly is the name of the woman who helped you make your plate.
>She was your caregiver when I was working and lived downstairs from us.
>Remember? Her husband was Henry, I believe.
-----------------------
I think your entry was great. When I originally contacted you to come to my
home, I truly felt there was nothing going on. It was on March 12 that we
heard the first footsteps. I had a talk with my husband when he got home
and we went over my notes.
His dad was involved in military parts. He did not work on planes. The
parts were for planes. My husband was the one involved in working on
planes.
August 28 signifigance may be Jennifer's (my sister in law) birthday which
is August 25.
Yesterday evening I was making dinner while my four year old was dancing to
his music in the front living room. He was running around the glass coffee
table and talking as if to someone. I watched him and then I asked him who
he was talking to. He said "Oh my friend". FYI-up until this point Nolen
has never had an imaginary friend. I said "What is he doing", Nolen: "He's
running around the table with me". Me: "What is his name?", Nolen: "Charlie
Jake". He has a friend named Jake, but no one he knows is named Charlie.
Coincidence? I don't know.
Yesterday morning I tried talking to him about the comment he made to us
last week in regards to my husband's dad- "Daddy, I'm sorry your daddy is
dead" (John confirmed what he said when he got home that night). John also
said Nolen stated it again when they were out that night. I asked Nolen how
he knew Dad's dad was dead. He either didn't understand the question or
didn't know, but he stated he didn't know.
Were the three orbs together in your pictures not really orbs? Those were
very interesting. I would love to see them posted.
Again, I thank you very much for coming to my home. This subject has
always been a big part of my life. I will try to make it to the meeting on
Friday. My husband is picking my mom up, which means a different plan of
action, but I will try to work out something.
