St. Petersburg Ghost Tour
By: Evp Deb (Debbie)
Recently I had the opportunity to attend the Ghost Tour of St. Petersburg, hosted by the SPIRITS leader, Brandy Stark.
Approximately 11 others attended along with us. It was just our luck to meet on the night of the Festival of States -- a once-a-year event. The bands and music added a backdrop to the tour, though things were a bit noisy for the first stops on the tour, it was a great adventure and the parade was really good too!
I will say that it is very interesting to have so much of our wonderful city’s history being resurrected during the ghost tour and I do highly recommend taking an evening stroll and learning not only about some of our more lingering residents but also about the historic side of St. Petersburg and how those who also loved this area have remained to tend to the business they began so very long ago. The tour is highly educational and fun to boot and worth more than the price of admission.
As a paranormal investigator, it was almost too much to not “go into hunting mode” as my co-hunter and I sidestepped for more favorable camera angles. I was very please to have captured some very interesting shots, backing up the haunted claims of some of St Petersburg’s oldest buildings that house our primary focus, ghosts. What a pleasure it was to be able to share these photos with the whole tour group. Thank you all for allowing us to share a few of the things we “captured” that evening.
I certainly plan to return on this tour again very soon. Maybe a few of you might be on the tour with me and I’ll be able to show you a few “surprise” pictures as well.
