Investigators present: Denise, Jo, Jeanne, Evie, Deborah, Tom
Others: 2 birds, 2 dogs, homeowners
Split into two teams:
1) Denise, Jeanne, Evie, Deborah
2)
Brandy, Jo, Tom
Jo used her meter for temperature.
My EMF meter was set to the 0 – 3 scale unless otherwise noted.
Pre-Investigation:
Living room
Temperature: 73 – 74 degrees
1 small spike for EMF. 1.2 is base of EMF for the living room.
Kitchen:
Small spike
1 orb, light refraction
EMF spike in kitchen probably related to the refrigerator cycling on.
Garage: EMF by water heater, downstairs refrigerator.
Temperature 68 – 69 degrees, but it is closer to the outside (door leads out to yard).
2 spikes, 1.2 – 1.4
Stairwell from 1st floor to 2nd floor:
2 spikes; found the circuit breaker box on wall inside of garage
EMF moved from .2 to 1.0 (could relate to EMF from electronics).
Third floor:
MA bedroom:
EMF .3
Kept feeling a breeze in the MA bedroom
Determined it was the vent
Jo reports trouble with her camera.
MA closet felt cooler, though temperature was “normal” to the rest of the house.
2nd bedroom:
temperature 71 – 72 degrees
I felt warm and light headed in this room.
EMF increased considerably when lights came on (a lot of wiring running through the home).
Felt chill on right arm, and eventually the coolness dropped off.
Group discussion:
Brandy: 2nd bedroom sensations; 1 orb on stairwell coming from garage, 1 orb above birdcage, 1 orb in living room. Living room orb showed texture.
Tom: Not getting anything strong. Fascinated with stairs and kitchen. Felt anxious and tense, sad. Guest room: felt highly anxious, felt like crying. Legs and feet hurt. Pain and pressure in left arm.
Denise: heard name “Chris” or “Christopher” on the way in. Felt energy in the 2nd bedroom. Got orbs in living room.
Jo: No signs of temp flux, tightness in head in kitchen. 1 orb in MA bedroom (dust?), 1 orb in 2nd bedroom, and started coughing in 2nd bedroom. (Though she was sick, she had not been coughing for the rest of the investigation).
Evie: No temp flux. When she first came in, she thought she felt something.
Deborah: Bottom of the stairs, 1 orb. Pulling of hair in living room. EMF spikes on 1st floors near bathroom. Guest bedroom had spikes.
Jeanne: Bedpost in guest room attracted the compass needle. Spikes by bathroom.
Jo went to set up camera in guest room. I also brought the electric pen with us (to see if we could find additional wiring).
Second walk through: Stairwell, Denise felt tunnel vision, but thinks it’s a visual illusion.
We got 8 second bursts of EMF near the bathroom, which indicates it is electronic in nature.
2nd bedroom: 1.0 EMF, EVP attempted.
EMF was steady.
MA bedroom: .5 EMF
Still felt a lot of anxiety, a lot of energy in the room.
Homeowner discussion:
Homeowner report: Homeowner reports no activity.
Denise and Tom both “felt” it was going to be a control investigation on the way over.
Homeowner did report that she had a guest staying in the second room the week before we came who was going through medical and emotional issues. She was impressed with the fact that the SPIRITS sensed the energy of anxiety.
SPIRITS advised that she “sage” the house to return it to it’s normal level.
Conclusion: This was a good “control” investigation. I’m impressed by the sensitivity of those who picked up tension in the guest room.
I do need to review the orb policy. Three orbs showed up in a home that was not haunted. Probably dust or light refraction for two of them, but I’m not sure what to make of the “textured” orb. Could it be naturally produced? If so, how?

Jeanne’s report
Our group met at the residence at 6:30pm. Members present were Brandy, Denise, Jo and myself. Also present were 3 potential new members. The residence was a 3 story apartment. We divided into 2 groups. I was with Denise and 2 of the new members. Our group started at the top floor, where there were 2 bedrooms and bathrooms. In the second bedroom, We got some EMF activity over the bed. My compass reacted to the metal bedpost, with the arrow following all around it. We've seen this before in another home with a brass bed. Next we went downstairs and checked the kitchen, living room and bathroom there. We got some EMF readings on the stairs outside the bathroom. Then we went to the ground floor which was a garage. Nothing unusual there. We met with the other group, and discussed where to return. Several members said that they felt anxiety in the second bedroom. We re-checked that bedroom, and had a question and answer session to try for an EVP. We met with the homeowners to discuss the findings. The sensitives present reported feeling nothing except for feelings of anxiety and sadness in that bedroom. At this point, we found out that this had been a control investigation, which is a non haunted residence. The homeowners did tell us that they had recently had a houseguest staying in that room who was going through some bad times, and was under a lot of stress. In conclusion, I took about 30 digital pictures, and found nothing unusual in any of them.
Pasadena Avenue Report
Potential Member: Deborah
Date: February 19, 2006
Start Time: 6:30 p.m.
Equipment Used: Notebook, Minolta Dimage X Digital Camera, Tri-Field EMF meter (Set on 0-3 scale)
Unless otherwise noted, the normal EMF levels for the home ranged between 1.0 and 2.0.
During the silent walk through with Denise, Jeanne and Evie, we went to the upstairs guest bedroom first. EMF only spiked near wiring in the bathroom and at the foot of the bed on the left side (EMF=6.) After some discussion, we determined that a light on the ceiling in the kitchen directly below was likely to be causing this spike.
In the upstairs hallway, the EMF spike (EMF=4) near the bookcase also appears to be caused by wiring in the walls.
In the Master bedroom, no significant EMF spikes were noted, outside of electronic items and wiring. I was drawn to a picture of what appeared to be one of the homeowner?s grandparents at the top of the stairs outside the master bedroom.
EMF pegged at the bottom of the stairs, both outside and inside the bathroom, for about one minute and then EMF returned to normal levels.
I noted no significant changes in EMF in kitchen or living room. Did have sensation of hair on the top of my head being pulled while standing near a large mirror on the northern wall of the living room.
Coming down the stairs into the entryway, took digital photo and what appear to be an orb is at the bottom of the stairs, near the garage door. No significant EMF spikes outside of those caused by electrical equipment and wiring in the garage. I did experience a weak feeling in my arms and the pit of my stomach in the garage area.
We concentrated on the guest bedroom during the second walkthrough and while checking for EVP, I noted no changes in my EMF meter in response to any of the questions asked.
Based on the data collected and the information given by the homeowners, I would also conclude there does not appear to be any significant paranormal activity occurring at this residence.
End Time: 8:30 p.m.

Evie's Report
Pasadena Avenue Investigation
On 2/19/06 TBSprits investigated a three story town house off Pasadena Ave. My group started upstairs and the only abnormal readings we received were in the guest bedroom. This proved to be a false reading traced to being directly over the kitchen light in the room below. We found no temperature fluctuations or other instrument abnormalities that we could not explain. A sensitive was getting feelings of someone laying on the bed having a tantrum.
The middle story is the living quarters and one of the cameras picked up an orb at the head of the stairs that was later identified as a reflection off a sconce. Myself and one of the sensitives got a whiff of an odor we could not identify at one spot in the kitchen doorway.
The lower level is the garage and laundry area. A couple of abnormal readings on the EMF meter was attributed to the doorbell receiver and the circuit breaker box.
At the end of the investigation when we met with the owners, we learned the lady of the house had several dreams of a deceased pet and thought she felt its presence.
The investigation was interesting but we didn’t find any ghosts. Maybe next time.

A faint orb can be seen near Brandy as she descends stairs from loft. I suspect that it is probably dust.
A possible orb is visible near the armoire.
Audio Summary
Audiotapes used: None
Total length of (DVR) audio recording: Guest Bedroom – 00:12:46
EVP sessions: The recording session began with a question and answer session. The DVR was then left unattended in the guest bedroom to record any sounds.
Positive EVPs: No audible EVP was detected.
Video Summary
Videotapes used: Sony Premium DVM 60
Total length of video recording: 25:36 minutes
Video Segment – Guest Bedroom
Segment Length: 25:36 minutes
Time of Recording: 7:41 PM – 8:06 PM
Positive video events: No anomalous images or sounds recorded
Other physical evidence obtained
Total positive anomalous EMF readings: I only used the EMF detector briefly on this investigation, but I experienced very little unusual EMF activity. Most of the fluctuations seemed to be attributed to electrical appliances, electronic equipment or wires.
Total positive anomalous temperature changes: No unusual temperature readings noted. We initially detected a draft in the master bedroom, but upon inspection determined that air was being forced through the bottom edge of a closed vent.
Other notable events: Other than being a “butter fingers” and persistently dropping my IR Thermometer, I did not experience any other notable events. Tom, a member of our trio seemed to be picking up quite a bit of energy from the kitchen and more notably, from the guest bedroom. During the debriefing, it was revealed that a guest who was going through an emotionally challenging time had recently stayed in that room.
Psychic Impressions
I did not experience any psychic impressions during this investigation.
Conclusion
Based upon the collective investigative findings of the group, I have no evidence to suggest there is any paranormal activity occurring at this residence.
