The world of the paranormal never fails to surprise and bewilder those who work with it.  Yet, as the SPIRITS members know, that is part of working with the unknown. 

The team was called in to investigate a home with minor phenomena.  The homeowner believed that the entities she sensed were those of her family.  Manifestations occurred mostly in the front living room and consisted of a comforting sensation. 

The building was surrounded by power lines, which produced EMF readings that interfered with the SPIRITS equipment.  Temperatures remained the same and there was little else that registered substantially with the technical aspects of the investigation.

That left much to the responsibility to the sensitives, who reported that energies in the master bedroom closet shifted considerably and were probably part of a vortex.   The room also contained an entity that stood next to the headboard of the bed.  The sensitive picked up a “J” name associated with him and initially called him Jeremy.  The homeowner corrected this by mentioning the name “Jamie.”  He was of standard build, aged in his 20’s with wavy hair.  The psychic, however, also described his demeanor as “one person with two personalities.”

Initially, this man was hostile to the SPIRITS group and offered only flippant remarks while cursing at the team leader.  He didn’t want anyone on “his side” of the bed and was protective of his space.  He started to interact with those present when the homeowner came into the room.  He had known her in life and the two had a relationship that went partially awry.  He died unexpectedly in a car accident some time before the investigation, but he wanted to make amends to her before he crossed to the Otherside. 

He said that he knew the homeowner knew that he was there.  She validated this by saying he made particular noises in life which she heard in the home. Sensitives felt that he would cross over once he made his peace with her.  He felt he had to make amends for some bad choices that he made in life.

A few other names were mentioned, including one that had a sense of urgency to it:  Trevor.  Another was a “Granny D”, and a final name was “Babette”.  The identity of these individuals remains a mystery.

After the group left, the homeowner sent an obituary of Jamie’s death that validated the details of a car accident described.  She reported some mild psychokinetic activity after the group left, including a football hat that was thrown across the room.  Jamie was a known football fan.  She took time to talk with him to hopefully ease his transition. 

The identity of Trevor and several of the other names mentioned remains a mystery, however.

Yet, the experiences held by the team beg the question, as posed by one team member:  Do deceased friends stay with you until they can relay a message and/or ask for forgiveness?   And if they do, how do we interact with them?  It is all a part of the on-going research taking place in today’s world as we struggle with one of the world’s oldest mysteries.

Do deceased friends stay with you until they can relay a message and/or ask for forgiveness?  That is the question I pose with this investigation.  Once we got started with the investigation it was immediately noted that the home was situated around many power lines.  Therefore, EMF was virtually impossible to use and validate as possible paranormal activity.  I also noticed the home felt like an invisible field was surrounding it.  Was it because of the power lines?  This is a question I have not answered yet. 

Entering into the front bedroom I felt ill and faint.  So faint that I had to return later to confirm that it was not just me.  When leaving the bedroom the first time I almost immediately felt better, but returning later gave me the same ill and faint feeling that I had an hour before.  I realized it was definitely the bedroom and the atmosphere there.  It was like a vortex covered the bedroom.

In the kitchen I heard the name Trevor.  Unfortunately the homeowner could not validate this name, but it was so strong with me that I fell it was definitely important during this hunt.  I also got the feeling that there was a male presence telling me that he had dated the female homeowner in the past.    As I walked into the master bedroom I felt a male energy along the back wall next to the bed.  He said in a stern voice "Stay away" and cursed at me.  I told Brandy about the entities presence and she asked if he could manifest.  I heard him say "Manifest this" in an aggressive negative voice. 

I went into the closet in the master bedroom and felt as if it were a black hole.  Again was it the energy from the power lines that made this home feel like it was on a different energy level.  I also noticed that the closet was in a direct line with the front bedroom that I had felt so ill in.  Walking back towards the right side of the bed I became engulfed in terror and was in tears.  I could not get myself to walk any further towards the corner.  I again sensed the male energy that was standing in the corner.  He was upset and wanted to apologize to the female homeowner for not telling her something that he should have.  I got the name Jeremy and described him as a white male, medium build with dark wavy hair.  He was in his twenties.   He had died in a car accident.  The homeowner said she dated a man named Jamie who had died in a car accident.  His description was accurate to what I had received and she did admit that there was an important issue he should have discussed with her when they were dating, but he had not.  It seemed as if her old friend wanted to make amends for his past behavior.

In the living room I felt like the homeowner's family was "Rushing in" to talk with her.  I also heard the name Granny D and Babbette.  Unfortunately the homeowner could not validate these names.  She did say that this was the room she felt her deceased family members coming in to say hello.  I felt she had a lot of love and support around her.  I also felt that Jamie was free to move on to another part of his past to make amends.

Denise, Cindy, Sue, Beth, and Amy present.

2 house cats.

Pre-investigation:  Note:  I switched out from the trifield meter to the ELF meter during the pre-investigation.

Bedroom 1: 

Note:  Mirrors

Denise felt faint and sick.  Possibly due to headache medication she had taken before she arrived.

EMF 0-100 scale, 5.

Computer in this room; bedroom felt cool to me.  Registering 79-81.5 degrees.

Hall:  77 degrees.

EMF:  caution to danger every 10 seconds on the ELF meter, 5 EMF on trifield meter

Kitchen:  EMF 4/5

79-81 degrees

Bedroom 2:  79-80 degrees

EMF:  safe (ELF)

I felt a small chill on my leg. 

Sue's battery drained (later determined to be a bad battery)

Denise felt something negative in the area.

Bedroom/bathroom/walk in closet:

Denise felt that it was a portal or a vortex of some sort.  Dizzy.  76-79 degrees

EMF:  4.5

Dining room:  82 degrees

EMF:  caution

Living room:  80.5 degrees

EMF:  5

Caution light on ELF on table; consistent reading. 

Orbs appeared on LCD screen.

Additional orbs showing up on camera near the fan and corner of the room.

I felt chills.

Discussion:

Beth:  EMF -- a lot of "Red" (Danger; higher level EMF) on the ceiling down to ¾ to the bottom of the wall.  Sensed something in the corner of the guest bedroom. 

Cindy:  kitchen:  felt someone looking down from the utility/laundry room/attic area.

Temp change near refridgerator:  76-84 degrees.

Reading from opening.

Pyschial shuddering in that area.

Brandy:  orbs and chills; living room.

Sue:  Orbs by pics and light fixture in livintroom.

Denise:  Felt faint in bedroom 1.  Heard name "Rever" Felt energy coming into the room/bedrrom.

Livingroom:  Orbs in living room.

Bedroom 2:  Didn't feel physical presence but a strng "mean" energy -- "Stay away" from one corner of the room.  Called Brandy "Bitch" and when she asked for signs of the presence (manifestations of energy) he said "Manifest this"In the closet, she felt "empty" -- a vortex.  She felt a drop as if there was no energy.  In the living room/dining room area while sitting at the talbe talking she heard a "J" name:  Jeremey.  She felt that Amy's family, Granny "D", was "rushing in" to communicate.  She asked that Amy ask her husband about Trevor.

We decided to check both bedrooms and the living rooms.

The wall in bedroom 2 held an energy; a man in his 20s.  Denise felt fear from him; he was a transient spirit.  He was homeowner's "date" in the past.  Homeowner confirmed that she had dated someone who died.  Denise said the name was "J" like "Jeremy"homeowner said "Jamie"he died in a car accident and very unexpectedly. 

Homeowner was able to verify this.  She said he inadvertently flipped his vehicle.  Denise heard "animal"possibly that he swerved to avoid hitting an animal.  Homeowner unable to verify this, other than to say the roads were very slick and conditions were not optimal for driving. 

He was not angry, but very sad.  He felt he should have told homeowner some things that he didn't. 

Homeowner confirmed that Jamie got married very suddenly and secretly without telling anyone.  It partially broke up their relationship. 

The energy did not like anyone standing on "his" side of the bed (which co-insided where the homeowner slept).  Denise almost felt it was one person with two personalities. 

"Jamie" said that homeowner knows he is here.  Homeowner confirmed that she hears certain sounds that she associates with him.  These include "bug sounds" which are produced when he flutters and clicks his fingers together. 

"Jamie" felt afraid of us; feared that we were there to "get him out"

Denise described him as male, short, wavy dark hair in his 20s.  He was of a "regular" build, not heavy. 

He was also sorry for the lying to homeowner about relationship; he was afraid to move on because of mistakes that he had made in life.  Felt he lived a life with some bad moral choices.  He felt he needed to make amends. 

He may continue to pop in from time to time.  Denise felt his energy weaken because he said what he felt he had to say. 

In the Livingroom:  Grandmother/Grandfather present.  Denise heard the name "Babette".

Homeowner interview:

Homeowner described the sensation of being watched, particularly at the computer, located in bedroom 1.

She always felt comforted in the living room; she felt her husband's mother coming through to keep an eye on the family.  Her husband's mother was always very protective of him.

She confirmed that she did think of "Jamie" rarely, and that he died 1 day before she started to date the man who would become her current husband. 

She added that she has a family friend/co-worker named "Frank" who died.  She hears his voice in the living room from time to time. 

She does feel vertigo in the closet  in the bedroom 1 from time to time.  She said the sensation is similar to the film illusion where tunnels appear to stretch and elongate.  However, these sensations are brief and fade quickly. 

The only other phenomena is that her bedroom fan has shut off from time to time for reasons unknown.

Conclusion about investigation:

Homeowner was able to verify information on "Jamie", which includes an obituary for dates, and a picture of him.  He did match Denise's description. 

Several images manifested during the "contact" session, including orbs near Denise in the bedroom, and orbs of similar appearance that constantly moved throughout the living room.  Though the homeowner has two cats and did have air circulating throughout the home for part of the investigation, these orbs appear brighter than standard dust orbs.  They also appear to be connected to one another.  They appear in random frames, or in consecutive frames, either in the same location (with a 10 second delay for the camera to recharge) or moving through the frame.

Homeowner is very open to the idea of spirits; other investigations dealing with her family members have picked up other family members who come through from time to time to check on the living relatives.  She may subconsciously "invite" them to visit, or her ties to the family may be powerful enough to generate a link. 

The team also noted the power lines that surrounded the house.  I think these may also feed in additional energy that allows entities to manifest. 

However, these entities appear to be attached to the homeowner and her family within the house.  If the family moves out of this building, I suspect the entities will likely follow.

Lennox Rd Paranormal Investigation

We investigated this 2-bedroom condo on Lennox Road shared by a husband and

wife.  Only the female homeowner (Amy) was present for our investigation.

The S.P.I.R.I.T.S. members present were:  Brandy, Denise, Cindy, Beth, Amy,

and Sue.  The sensitive present was Denise although Cindy and Brandy also

had some experiences.

LIVING ROOM:

When we first arrived, we noted that the condo is very close to high-tension

wires which emit EMF (electro-magnetic fields).  Later, Beth told us the

E.L.F. meter she was using was showing dangerous EMF levels from the ceiling

down to about the lowest ¼ of the wall in the whole condo.  The only area

that didn't show dangerous EMF levels was a corner of bedroom #2.

BEDROOM #2:

When we first entered the spare bedroom, Denise said she felt faint.  Later,

when she returned to the room, Denise said if felt like a vortex.  Like the

room had no floor.  Brandy said she felt chills in the room.

LAUNDRY ROOM:

Cindy felt someone looking down from the attic into this room.  She then

physically shivered.

DINING ROOM:

Denise got the name "Trevor" and the word "Date".  Later, she said she got

the letter "J like Jeremy".  She had a sensation of the female homeowner's

family "rushing in" to the room.  She also got the name "Granny D".

WALK-INCLOSET:

Denise said the closet felt like an empty black hole or vortex.  She had a

"dropping" sensation in there.

MASTER BEDROOM:

Denise felt a negative entity in the master bedroom.  She said it was not

evil, but angry.  She said it felt like a "mean energy" that said "Stay

Away".  Brandy heard the entity say "Bitch".  And she heard "Manifest this"

in a real cocky tone of voice when she asked the entity to manifest.

My digital camera battery showed it was completely drained when I first

entered the room.  When I left to enter the living room, my camera battery

showed it was only 1/2 drained!  I ended up using the same batteries for all

my pictures.

When we returned to the master bedroom later, Denise said she felt

butterflies and scared near the sliding glass door.  She sensed someone the

female homeowner (Amy) dated.  Amy explained she one dated a man named Jamie

who died.  Denise thought it was due to a car accident and Amy confirmed

that.  We noted that Denise earlier had gotten the letter "J like Jeremy"

while in the dining room.  We noted that "Jamie" also starts with a "J".

Cindy said he was the entity in the attic she felt earlier when in the

laundry room.

Denise said he was scared, sad, and lost.  She said he should have said

things to Amy.  Amy related some details about the relationship that

confirmed that Jamie died without telling her some important things

concerning himself.  Denise felt he was like one person with two different

personalities.  Amy confirmed Jamie had a temper.  She told her she was

currently hearing a sound like a bug in her ear which is something Jamie

used to do to her.  Cindy said she also heard the sound.  Denise said he was

here because he felt sorry.  He was terrified because of the life he lived

and the things he did wrong.  He was here to make amends.

Amy confirmed Denise's physical description of Jamie:  short male in his 20s

with short wavy hair who was not heavy.  Denise felt he'll pop in from time

to time, but won't be around as much now that he has been able to apologize.

At this point Denise was feeling weak and nervous and we went left the room.

HOMEOWNER INTERVIEW:

When we returned to the living room for the homeowner interview later,

Denise got the name "Babette".  The only Babette Amy knew was a dog.   Amy

told us she had bizarre sensations of being watched in bedroom #2 and

experienced cold drafts.  She said the living room feels comforting.  Amy

feels her mother-in-law in this room.  She also feels her murdered

ex-manager Frank in this room.  She never felt anything in the master

bedroom.  But she told us the fan sometimes turns off at the wall switch.

Amy sometimes feels vertigo in the master bedroom walk-in-closet.

Sometimes, she said, it feels like the room elongates.

I took 39 digital photos on this investigation and found orbs in 12 of them.

Could the orbs be due to the high EMF in the condo emanating from the

high-tension wires outside?  Or do Amy's relatives "rush in" to look in on

her and visit her as Denise felt?

Hi all!

Well thanks for coming to investigate my place - I was shocked to learn that Jamie was around!  He hasn't been actively on my mind in a LONG time  so knowing he was around was surprising.  I did have some PK yesterday and I wonder if it wasn't him.  I was in my spare room sorting through my MK items - when the Bucs Championship hat was sorta "tossed" off of the lamp it sits on now.  That that hasn't moved since I put it on there back in June.  I could only think it was Jamie - as he was a HUGE football fan.  I just sorta spoke out loud "Ok -Jamie - we don't need any of that" - and I put the hat back up on the lamp. Last night when Bri and I were in bed (he was sleeping mind you) - I heard a few "pops" by the slider - so I wonder if our investigation didn't stir Jamie up at all - because now he's making himself physically known - and I'm talking to him.

Also - I asked Brian if he knew about a Trevor - and he doesn't - not at all.  I asked him to think about High School or any old friends and still nothing  so that one is still a mystery. 

Anyway - thought I'd fill everyone in on everything.  I can't wait to see the other photos and read the reports. 

I looked up Jamie's Obit online and I'm sure Denise would like to read this for validation to what she was telling me:
