Reports:
Sue K's report of the:
El Prado Paranormal Investigation
on Saturday, December 14, 2002
We arrived at the El Prado residence and began our investigation at 7:15pm. The house is owned by a husband and wife who will be referred to in this report as F and S. In attendance were: Brandy, Denise, Sandy, Scott, Sue, and Troy. We broke up into two separate investigative teams. Our team consisted of Scott who is a sensitive, Brandy and myself. The other team consisted of Sandy and Denise who are both sensitives and Troy who is a new S.P.I.R.I.T.S. member.
Almost as soon as we entered the house, Scott sensed an impatient older gentleman in the living room. Sandy mentioned she saw a man in the dining room window when we were congregated outside. She said he wanted us to talk to him. Scott got the names Adam, Allen, and Thomas. Sandy saw a blond child about 3 foot tall when she started into the hallway which leads to the 3 bedrooms and bathroom. Scott felt the child was playful. He also mentioned there was "amazing energy" and he felt a thickness in the living room.
GARAGE:
Our team of Scott, Brandy, and myself moved through the dining room and kitchen to begin our investigation from the furthest point from the front door. We went into the garage. Scott felt an energy that was tied to S. He said the energy wants to be near people and that they don't come out here. Neither Brandy nor I found any EMF readings with our E.L.F. EMF readers.
BACKYARD:
When we stepped into the backyard, Scott said he saw a swing set and kids playing. Brandy asked for the time frame and Scott responded 1930s to 1940s. He then said 1928. When we interviewed the current home owners later in the evening, we found out that the current house was built in the 1940s, perhaps 1949.
KITCHEN:
We then entered the house again via the kitchen door. We found no EMF readings here either. In the kitchen Scott felt a playful spirit named Thomas or something with an "A" such as Allen or Adam. He said the spirit was 10-12 years old, blonde, and blue-eyed. The spirit was giggling. Scott told Brandy the young boy thought she was funny. He said the spirit likes animals. Scott could hear him running and playing. He said the boy died early this century.
Then Scott sensed an older entity in his late 60s. He felt congestion in his chest and felt he was more recent. Perhaps from the 60s or 70s. Scott and said the older man thinks the younger boy is a nuisance! Amazing how our personalities can survive along with our energy!!
At this point, Scott was called into the master bedroom.
MASTER BEDROOM:
There was quite a bit of excitement in the master bedroom when our team arrived. Sandy felt there were many, many spirits clamoring to be heard and recognized. Scott felt the older man he just encountered in the kitchen was named Thomas. Sandy said the little boy was freaking out. She said "Who are these people? Why are they here". Scott said the older man was confused and had had a drinking problem. Sandy then announced that more spirits had joined us in the master bedroom.
Scott said he sensed a female attached to me. He said she died painfully from a sudden pain in the back of her head. Unfortunately, before I could ask Scott any questions, Denise said she felt high as if on a caffeine high. Then Sandy said her hand was very cold. She felt the little boy was holding her hand. Temperature readings showed a range of 68 to 85 degrees on her hand. Denise said the boy was hiding behind Sandy's leg. Sandy then said the boy was wearing blue jeans, striped shirt, dark blue collar, and blue and white tennis shoes.
Scott also sensed a young man who had committed suicide. Then Scott said the other spirits in the room were getting angry because they wanted to talk too! He sensed a woman, an older man, and a teenager. He then said it felt as if there was a vortex in the room. Sandy said they were impatient and don't want the sensitives split up.
Scott then said the woman doesn't like Brandy or any women at all. She was once married. Sandy said her husband cheated on her. Scott said she had a mouth on her and was calling her ex-husband a "slimy bastard". He said she's in her 30s or 40s. Sandy said she had longer dark hair and committed suicide. Scott said she died from an overdose of pills. Sandy added that it happened in the bathroom tub, that she was in her mid 30s and had been a nurse. Sandy said she doesn't understand why he rejected her. The last year the spirit remembers is 1970. Scott said she had brown eyes, porcelain skin, and was wet and naked. He said the last year she remembers was 1986. He added that she was controlling, vulgar, and was a potent woman. She used to wear a uniform of some sort. He also said she told him she was cheating on her husband and then started chuckling. Sandy then told us the female entity called her a bitch. She reiterated that the spirit just doesn't understand why her husband left her.
Sandy said the little boy was scared of the female spirit because he feels she's mean. Scott then sensed a young man who committed suicide. He said the little boy died naturally. Sandy then got the name Henry or Hank for the young man Scott sensed. Scott then got the name Ronald and said he was a new spirit who was a womanizer. Sandy added that this new spirit went to college, got the year 1936, and that he was laughing about the angry woman. Scott felt he was 27 years old and was flirting with Brandy. Sandy said he knows he is dead. She felt he was attached to "her". I was unsure if she meant Brandy or S who owns the home. The information from Sandy and Scott was coming at an incredible pace, it was hard to keep up and take accurate notes. Sandy also felt he was 27 years old and was a comedian, life of the party, charmer, and a cad. Scott added that he watches the homeowners and is attached to the husband.
Sandy said she then saw a taller man who told her "there are worse things than being dead - fear". Then she said "I don't exist any more" and seemed forlorn. Sandy then sensed a woman in her late teens who was confused as to why she couldn't feel anymore, she had no more sensations. Sandy said that this spirit knocks things off shelves. She saw pink in relation to this spirit. Scott then sensed an old man who smelled like medicine, specifically vapor rub. He felt his wife's name started with an "M" such as Maria or Martha. He thought the last name was Anderson. The last year this entity remembers is the 40s.
Sandy then made contact with a spirit named Jennifer who s the young female suicide the S.P.I.R.I.T.S. group encountered at another investigation on 26th Ave. Sandy said she was crying and said "You found me" and "Thank you for finding me". She sees a kindred spirit in S the homeowner. Sandy said Jennifer was so happy now because she liked the story Brandy wrote about her.
Scott then announced that he had 8 spirits behind him in the hall and he was trying to keep them back. He said they were mad at him for trying to silence them. Troy took temperature readings with an IR thermometer. He was getting slight fluctuations between 63 and 69 degrees. Denise then attempted to open herself up and felt her eyes fluttering. Denise got the name Sarah and then sensed a boy who was looking at Scott. She said he likes Scott. She then felt an urge to leave the room because the spirits wanted to get in. Sandy said her leg was going numb. She said the house was the center. Scott got the name Sally and said there were many, many spirits in the master bedroom. Someone commented it was like Grand Central Station with spirits coming and going.
LIVING ROOM/DINING ROOM:
We then decided to proceed into the living room. Sandy noted she felt a chill near the front door. She then said "Party Dude". She then announced that Denise's dad was here to visit her and that he was in a jovial mood. Troy took temperature readings in the living room and registered fluctuations between 70 and 79 degrees, but the color temperatures where closer to the front door, so they may have been caused by the cooler air outside. Scott mentioned there was a crows of spirits in this room as well.
In the attached dining room, Denise sensed an older man near the window. Brandy complained of her hands feeling very cold. I took temperature readings of her hand and they registered various degrees from 99 all the way down to 71 degrees. The colder temperatures were by her finger tips where she complained of a cold numbness.
Sandy, back in the living room, sensed a Victorian woman with a white dress. She had THE perfect waist and was very proud of that fact. Brandy suggested the perfect waist was probably created with a corset. Sandy acted very indignant and re-stated that it was THE perfect waist in and of itself without any outside assistance. At this point, Sandy said the little boy latched onto her thigh. Scott said this woman finds the little boy a nuisance. He got the name Charlotte. He said she was happy someone found out who she is. Scott said "Thomas" let go of Sandy's leg and told the little boy that we don't take people home with us.
Denise then attempted to do some automatic writing at the dining room table. She sensed an 18-year old boy. Sandy said there was a man in a car. She said the spirits were all around the table watching Denise. Then she shouted out "Beer". It was suggested the "Party Dude" and "Beer" statements probably came from this 18-year old boy.
Standing next to me in the living room, Scott said he saw a blond retriever dog. This was a first for him. He's never sensed an animal before. Sandy said the little boy wants to play with the dog. She said he's too scared to trust. Scott asked me if I could feel the dog. I bent down and panned the area. On the backside of my hand, I felt a cool breeze, but it could have been a draft coming from the front door which we were standing a few feet away from.
Meanwhile, Denise, through her automatic writing, got the name Robert. Sandy said Denise's dad, who was named Robert, was holding Brandy's hand. Brandy joked that he better not be holding her hand because he's a married man! Everyone laughed. Sandy said he's fond of Brandy. He sees her as another daughter. Denise told us when alive, he was the "neighborhood" dad (dad to all). Denise got a real kick out of her father's visit.
Scott sensed a young man named Steve who was 18 years old and smokes pot. He died in a frat accident of alcohol poisoning. He said Steve Anderson was tied to F the home owner and that he died in 96. Denise first got 1966 and then 1986. When we interviewed the home owners, it came out that the young man was probably born in 1966 and died in 1986. Scott then sensed a new woman from the 1950s. Her name was Alice and she was tied to S the homeowner. Scott said she baked a lot and had something wrong with her breast. Her husband passed on and she just wanted to say hi and that everything was okay. She told S that she picked a good man in F! Scott then said he felt there was a vortex in the living room as well as the master bedroom.
BACKYARD:
At this point, we all went outside to the backyard. Earlier, Scott felt the spirits didn't go outside. He felt no spirits. Sandy; however, saw one spirit on the roof, another in a window peering out, and another near a tree. Scott took temperature readings of a chair and registered 50 to 63 degrees. I overheard Denise say that there's more to it than we can see, that we are missing the big picture. Unfortunately, I didn't catch what was said just prior.
Sandy felt a pair of eyes peering out at us from between parted blinds in the back office. Scott felt a tightness in his chest. Sandy said we need to take pictures of the crawl space under the house.
2ND BEDROOM (S's STUDIO):
We went back inside and returned to the living room. Scott said he felt a distinct change between the living room and the hallway. In the 2nd bedroom which S uses as her studio, a cool spot was felt by the door. We saw a drawing of a woman hanging on the inside of the closet door. Sandy identified it as the angry woman we encountered in the master bedroom. S was called in and she told us she drew it and calls it the "Sea Hag". S said she normally doesn't draw pictures, but felt the urge to do so. She actually drew multiple drawings of this entity. Someone (Brandy?) asked S how much she wanted to sell it for, but Denise cautioned her not to buy it because the spirit was attached to the drawing and would probably follow it. Sandy pointed to another figure in the drawing and said it was Jennifer, the spirit initially encountered during another investigation on 26th Avenue. Both Brandy and I felt cold spots in this room. Scott told us this room was the angry woman's room. It's where she hangs out. Sandy then, in an alarming voice, asked for help in getting someone off her. Scott said it was a male entity and he was slapping Sandy. He then told the team to help him get Sandy out of the house.
BACK OFFICE:
While Sandy, Scott, and Denise were outside on the front stoop, Brandy, Troy and I, all non-sensitives, went in the back office which is primarily used by F. I got a quick spike to yellow (caution) with my EMF reader in the middle of the room. Troy got a spike to red (danger), but he was near a camera at the time.
BATHROOM:
In the hall right outside the bathroom, Troy got two spikes to yellow (caution).
BACK OFFICE:
We went outside to check on Sandy. She needed a bit more time, so Scott came inside with us and we headed back to the office. Here he sensed a middle-aged male who had a white collar and was Catholic. He got a name beginning with an "R" and Ronald. He said the spirit was attached to an object. He then saw a picture of F's relative and said that was the spirit. During our interview with the homeowners, we found out that this relative had been a Monsignor with the Catholic Church in Italy. Scott smelled apricots in springtime. He said the spirit was very happy and had died in Spring. He said that F needs to understand no matter what, it's going to be okay. He mentioned built concerning a relationship with a female family member - a mother figure. F should stop second guessing, just accept it. Scott then got the name Diane. During the interview with F, he didn't understand what or who Scott was referring to. He did, however, tell us that the picture of the Monsignor keeps getting knocked down. F said he died in the springtime, but his name was Salvator and he was called Salvo. Back in the room, Scott told us the male spirit was standing in the door with his hand on F's shoulder. He did not want his picture taken. Brandy noticed she was having problems with her digital camera in that room at that time. The spirit also messes with F's computer. Again Scott spelled apricots. He said the spirit is a bit frustrated or stressed because he can't convey his message to F. Scott then said "My boy". Scott felt this spirit stays in the office and does not venture out into the hall or other rooms of the house.
BATHROOM:
Scott said there was a mother of another spirit in the bathroom. She committed suicide in the tub and either causes plumbing problems or will. He said the homeowners catch glimpses of her in here. She's younger than the angry woman who hangs out in the 2nd bedroom (S's studio). He then said that a child had drowned in 1968. She hates that she's stuck in this bathroom and makes the shower run cold, turns the sink on, and clogs the plumbing. Then he got the year 1965. Scott said she was 6 years old and drowned in a swimming pool. The dog Scott sensed in the living room is related to her and named Skipper. She sees the other spirits and doesn't care about them. She doesn't know she's dead, but she does know she drowned. She, like the little boy, doesn't like the angry woman. Scott said the other spirits keep the little girl in the bathroom. She just wants her Mommy who has already crossed over. She's stuck. The little boy comes up to the door and looks at her. Her dog goes in to the bathroom and visits her.
INTERVIEW WITH HOMEOWNERS:
Brandy asked the homeowners a series of questions to try to understand if they have any psi abilities. F said he has lucid dreams where he can control the outcome of his dreams. S said she has had paralysis dreams. She is also a slider who can make street lights turn off. She has had premonitions and both F and S see shadow figures in their peripheral vision. F said his family can manipulate energy. S said she's had had ghosts in other homes and that psychics run in her family. They also told us that their two cats avoid the master bedroom. Things disappear such as keys, glasses, and cordless phone. They have actually seen object moving.
Scott said he saw a man with a black beard who seemed to be a trucker. He said the living room is like the light side and the master bedroom the dark side. Someone noted that the happy spirits hang out in the living room and the spirits who committed suicide hang out in the master bedroom.
We found out from the homeowners that the current house was build tin the 40s perhaps 1949. They moved into the home in 1997. S has dreamt about something, woken F, and he too has see it. F said he can alter people's health such as in Reike. They noted that pictures fly off cabinet shelves. They have had bad dreams. F has actually seen people step out of a vortex in the hallway. And S reported that she sometimes gets heart palpitations.
They both have seen the little boy and the old woman. They mentioned a woman in a gardening had at the corner of the fence in back. F noted that the thermostat moves on its own. S told us she often wakes up hot even if the room is very cool. F said he never sensed the girl in the bathroom. But, in three homes S lived in, there was a little girl. F said there's a woman in the kitchen that throws Tupperware at him. Scott told him it's the 1950's woman who does that.
The homeowners also told us that Anderson was the grandmother's maiden name. When looking for a home back in 97, S said she didn't even want to look at the house. But when she opened the door, she knew she wanted it. F said that S brings entities with her from home to home. S believes the suicide spirits followed her into this house. She also told us the activity in the house increases when her husband is out of town. They also notice an increase in the Spring around Easter.
Scott asked if they had ever seen the dog spirit. They said no, but they have seen a ghost cat many times. He told us that Thomas knocks things over. Then someone announced that the angry woman "Sea Hag" was in the room with us.
CONCLUSION:
While we found very little in the way of EMF spikes or major temperature fluctuations, the sensitives encountered an enormous number of entities in this house. In every single room in the house, they sensed at least one spirit. The master bedroom seemed to have a vortex with dozens of spirits at the time of our visit. The living room also appears to have a vortex. This was a very "exciting" investigation in terms of spirits sensed by the sensitives of the S.P.I.R.I.T.S. team. It was definitely exhausting for them and for those of us trying to capture information for our investigative reports!
End of Sue K.'s investigative report (yes, finally!).

Others Present: Homeowners S and F, cats: Jack (17 year old) and Pip (outside).
Investigation: Group initially split into two groups, Sue Brandy and Scott on one, Troy, Sandy and Denise on the other.
Garage: No EMF
Scot sensed a lot of energy, but no one had come out when we were there. The entities, he thought, preferred the house.
Backyard: No EMF
Scott sensed a swing set from a long time ago, 1930's or 1940s. He got the year "!928" for some reason.
Kitchen: No EMF
Scott sensed a playful spirit, a child, giggling and playing. He was 10 -12 years of age with blonde hair, blue eyes.
At this point, we were called by Sandy to help the other team investigate the bedroom. This was a break with standard procedure but Sandy said that entities requested to speak with Scott.
Bedroom: No EMF.
Entire team.
Scott sensed Thomas, an older man in his 60s, with congestion in his chest. He also sensed an older man, teenager, and a child. The older man and teenager did not get along. Started to describe the room as "Grand Central" with so many entities wanting attention.
Scott described a "Frank Anderson" who was an older man who smelled like vapor rub. He had chest congestion and drank heavily in life. He was connected to the 1940s. He was Swedish, and asked about his wife.
Brandy felt a chill during this time, and shortly thereafter a woman revealed herself to the sensitives. She didn't like me (Brandy). Scott described her as manifesting naked, with porcelain skin, long black hair, in mid-30s. She asked "Why did he reject her?" Possibly suicide. She was married, but had a rocky marriage, possibly cheating on her husband. He also cheated on her. She died in 1970 or 1986, and was a nurse.
There were so many entities that Scott and Sandy started to feel overwhelmed. I asked that the entities slow down and be patient. Several reacted negatively to the suggestion, according to Sandy.
Young man: A suicide. His name was Ronald, Henry, Hank. Sandy thought he died in 1936, byt Scott thought he was newer to the spirit realm. He was 27 years old, and watches the married couple. He knows everyone. Scott thought the entity was "attached" to the homeowners (the husband) while Sandy thought he was attached to the wife. He was also described as a womanizer and a cad.
Taller man: Responsible for knocking things off shelves
Young woman: pink energy, nothingness, black, fear of Void. Jennifer, an entity investigated at 22nd Ave. North during the summer. I wrote and article about the investigation, which was published. Jennifer was grateful. She was the reason why we came to this home; this homeowner was present during the investigation of the person on 22nd Ave. (Both homeowners are friends). Jennifer was reported as sometimes accompanying "S" to her home.
At this point, the temperature is 70 degrees. The room was again measured for temperature, and it ranged from 68 degrees to 63 (near window).
Several begin to describe the room, particularly the area between two closet doors, as a vortex.
Denise and Sandy tried to work together, and sensed a woman named Sara or Sally.
At this point, there were so many entities that the sensitives started to feel overwhelmed. They suggested we leave the area.
Living room: No EMF
Man in his 60s, large, who loved beer. Denise felt that it was her father, which was confirmed by Sandy.
He came to see what she was up to (Denise feels that her father also stays at her home where she is caring for her mother).
Sandy sensed a lady in a white dress. Sandy thought she was Victorian. I suggested that Sandy describe the woman's dress, including corset, but Sandy said that that insulted the woman.
Brandy noticed that her right hand was very very cold. (I) took temperature readings of my hand, as witnessed by Sue. The temperature ranged from 74 degrees at the tips of my fingers to 89 at the wrist. I asked who was holding my hand.got conflicting reports from the sensitives. One person said that it was the artist entity that has been reported near me before. Another said it was Denise's father holding my hand. A third report was that it was the teenager, an 18 year old entity who wanted to "do" a teacher. This young man was sensed to do "huffing" when alive, or marijuana. It was possible that he also heavily drank. Scott sensed he died in a hazing accident. His name, Denise thought through experimenting with autonomic writing, was Steve Anderson, tied to another entity on the property named "Frank".Steve said he was Frank's son. He died in 1996 or 1986.
Scott sensed a dog's spirit named Skipper or Skippy in the living room.
Someone sensed an entity named Alice, from her mid-50's. Tied to "S". Wanted to say "Hello".
Looking into the kitchen from the living room, Sandy sensed a woman from the 1950s bustling about.
Backyard:
A lot of energy in yard. "Many people" sensed in yard.
Temperature measured 58-63 degrees.
We stayed out there until Denise, exploring an area with a tree, was scared by two birds who suddenly flew out. She said it was her father playing a joke on her. Brandy and Denise went into the house for a moment; others joined shortly thereafter.
We took a 10 minute break. With so much activity, it was hard to sustain activity. This is unusual as we rarely take long breaks during investigations.
After break: We had the studio to check. In the studio was a painting and a sketch of a woman that "S" had done. Sandy immediately identified her as the mean woman from the bedroom, with long black hair and the porcelain skin. "S", the homeowner, said that she didn't know why she had drawn the woman, but that she called her the "Sea Hag""S" has some psy ability, as discussed below.
Sandy started to feel very overwhelmed in the room, and had to be carried out by Scott. Sandy later explained that one entity kept asking why she didn't "See or hear him" and became very intense.overwhelming over. She also said that the woman entity was very nasty and angry, glaring at the whole group in "her" room. The entity felt she had been insulted her whole life and that we were also insulting her. She hated people in life, and was not fond of them in death, either.
Sandy felt that if anyone bought the "Sea Hag" drawing or painting that the entity would come with it. "S" explained that the painting was not finished. She had drawn a doorway and she felt that something should be coming through it, but she did not know what.
Sandy, Denise, and Scott went outside to give Sandy a chance to recover. Sandy said she saw her uncle and cousin while they were out there. Energy continued to follow them.
Brandy, Sue, and Troy walked through the remainder of the house to examine and take measurements of areas: The office, bathroom, and hallway.
Troy, using Brandy's ELF meter, got a danger spike in the hallway. The office measured 70 degrees.
The sensitives eventually rejoined the group, with Sandy and Denise resting. Scott, Troy, Sue and Brandy investigated the other rooms.
Office: Scott sensed a smell of apricots, which he interpreted as being a sign of spring, or death in spring. He felt a male presence, a Catholic priest. He thought the name started with an "R", like "Ronald". He was attached to an object. Looking around the room he found an old picture and pointed it out. That was the object the entity was attached to.
The priest was here to relay a message to "F", the husband of the household. The message included "No matter what, it will be OK", and referred to a relationship with a mother-figure. He also said to stop "second guessing" and "Just accept it".
Scott also sensed the entity messed with the computer.
Brandy noticed her camera started to shut down continuously. I asked if the entity wanted his picture taken. He did not. My camera shut down totally. Scott noticed the entity pulled back, and I was able to take two more pictures. The entity came back, more relaxed, with another message: My boy, you understand me.
Scott said he does not leave the room.
Bathroom: Scott saw a woman draped in the tub, a suicide. The vision was brief and incomplete. He said that sometimes the woman can be seen in the bathroom mirror.
He sensed plumbing problems in the area.
He linked those to a little girl who he sensed in the bathroom. She was looking for her "Mommy". She had died by drowning around 1965, and her mother killed herself out of despair in 1968. Scott said she is frustrated and afraid to leave the bathroom because of the other entities. She turned on the faucets, makes the shower go cold, backs up the sink. The dog entity from the living room is related to her. The dog does come to visit her and protect her, as does the little boy.
The little girl was confused, as she knew she drown, but indicated she did not know she was dead.
End of investigation.
Interview:
Homeowners have experienced:
Lucid dreams: S and F
Old Hag Syndrome: S
Paralysis Dreams: S
SLIder Phenomena: S, witnessed by F.
Premonitions: S
S has a history of psi ability in her family. She describes how her mother will dream of events going on and call her about them. These events have proven to be accurate. S has lived in multiple haunted houses, and describes numerous run ins with entities. She feels she may channel some of the entities through her art work. She has dreams of entities, and senses them. She often wakes up to see entities around her.
F says that his family is of Italian descent. They have the ability to manipulate energies, similar to Reike. He has witnessed many of S's paranormal events. He has also seen some of the entities within the home, including the "Vortex" in the bedroom.
Reported manifestations:
Shadow figures: S
Peripheral vision: S and F
Animals acting strangely: Yes. Neither cats won't go near the studio or the bedroom.
Cold drafts: Both, yes.
Cold spots: Both, yes.
Apportation of objects: Yes, both have had trouble with keys, glasses, books, remotes, telephones. The photograph in the office of the priest also moves of its own accord.
Loud noises: Yes, crashing sounds can be heard through the house, particularly in the study. When these crashing sounds happen, the picture is often found moved, though nothing else moves. The picture has been found standing on edge or in impossible ways.
Full manifestation: Both, yes. They have seen a boy, an old woman in a gardening hat working on a ring of flowers, who they believe is a former home owner. She appears near the corner of the fence.
Visual confirmation of objects moving: See above about priest's photograph. In addition, kitchenware throws itself at "F". When the couple kept Tupperware in upper cabinets in the kitchen, whenever "F" opened the cabinet, Tupperware was hurled at him. One time hit him in the head. The Tupperware was secured and checked for secure location. Finally, they moved it to lower shelves and the bombardment stopped. "S" thought she sensed an entity in the area. It could be the woman that Sandy sensed in the room.
S also sensed F's father who manifested as a child, though he died as an adult. F's father runs through the home and knocks things down. He'd run from one end of the home to the other, and into the yard, and knock down boxes, tree limbs, etc.
S also believes they have a ghost cat, and felt the vibration of a ghost dog.
The thermostat, a manual lever, also moves of its own accord, either very high or very low. Describe that the house is feverishly hot at times, particularly to "S", who wakes up in sweats at night.
Abnormal Behavior of lights or doors: Both, yes. Both report that the area outside the bedroom/bathroom/office appears supernaturally dark, to the extent that S tries not to use the restroom at night. When going into that area (a triangular area, according to "S"), everything is pitch black. Walls to the rooms cannot be sensed. Both believe it is related to the vortex they sense in the home.
Other: Vortex reported. Both report that they feel there is a vortex in the bedroom closet, and that entities appear to come and go through the area at certain times. They also call it "Grand Central Station" for entities, and activity heightens from 3 to 5 a.m. Most often, S senses entities at 3 a.m. exactly on the hour. A second waves comes through at 4 and 5 a.m. Some nights she stays up past 5 a.m. because the entities keep her awake.
S feels she channels "Sea Hag" and other entities. She doesn't know where these images come from that she draws, and simply started to draw "Sea Hag" one day.
Potential causes:
Any non-prescription drug use? No
Any prescription drugs? No
Drinking at time of manifestations: No
Excessive drinking? No
Medical conditions: None.
Interview:
Bought house in 1997. It was built in 1949 (or the 1940s) and it is the only house on the block that has the original, unaltered structure. All other houses on the block started out as mirror images but have been altered over the years.
It was owned by two prior owners. One woman grew up at the home, and she sold it to the couple.
At first S didn't want to look at house, but the second she came in she knew this was the house they were meant to have. She really liked the floor of the home.
Both work from home.
The confirmed some of what was sensed during the investigation. "Hits" include:
"Grand Central Station" is a term the homeowners use to describe the bedroom. SPIRITS members pegged the room as a vortex during the investigation, which they also believe.
Anderson Family: related to Stacy. She knew they came from Sweden.
S had a friend, a young man, who did huffing and other drugs. He died in 1986, but not of a hazing accident. She sensed him from time to time.
Jennifer: She also sensed Jennifer's presence, as did Jennifer's aunt, within the home.
Child in bathroom: S explained that she had lived in three houses where a girl spirit showed up in the bathroom. She hoped it was not the same spirit. "F" did not feel that there was anything in the bathroom.
The picture in the study, according to both, moves of its own accord. The image is of one of F's relatives, an uncle or grand uncle. Scott was correct that the man died in the spring, but F did not understand the message and did not feel it was valid.
Apparently, at some point Denise sensed a woman in a wheelchair, which neither homeowner could identify with.
S has sensed a Thomas entity in the home before, but his behavior did not match what Scott described.
Homeowners also reported that activity increases just before major changes in lives, emergencies, or when F is out of town. They said that activity had been relatively calm for the past two weeks, but that there are some times when they cannot even rest well.
Results: Many images showed up on different types of film.
I captured a light orb on Polaroid film (the second of two shots).
I also caught orbs on 35 mm film. The film had an usual problem. Of the 24 images, only 7 or so developed. The camera shows that it is working, and that the flash is going off for some of the images. I don't know why this happened. It is a first for the camera. I did not expose film to unusual temperatures, light, or water. The camera has not done this before. Photo tech could not explain it.
Denise reported that her digital camera was acting up and one of the disks broke after the investigation. I also had troubles with my digital camera afterwards.
Digital images produced many orb images. I had 7 of 114.
I was surprised at lack of EMF during the investigation, until the last areas were checked During "contact" with entities EMF meters were on, but registered no fields.
It also surprised me that we had "drop in" guests, including Jennifer from another investigation, possibly my artist from Paranormal 1 (old car that is now gone), and Denise's father.
Conclusions:
I believe that the home may have a vortex in it, but I also theorize that "S" is a living vortex. She reports a history of attracting ghosts, and I feel that there may have been an energy in the home before they moved in, but that together the couple inadvertently activated it.
With the suicides and the amount of "drop in" guests, I think that the home may attract wandering entities.
I was disappointed with the lack of stronger scientific readings and the team will work on amending that in the future.
End of Brandy's report.

THE HOUSE WAS FULL OF ENERGY FROM THE MOMENT WE WALKED IN. SANDY AND SCOTT WERE BEING PULLED LIKE A BUNGY CORD, BOUNCING FROM SPIRIT TO SPIRIT. WE STARTED THE INVESTIGATION AT 7:00 PM. WE ENTERED THE BEDROOM LOCATED ON THE NORTHWEST CORNER OF THE RESIDENCE. SPIRITS CROWED THIS ROOM IN ATTEMPT TO SPEAK WITH OUR SENSITIVES.
ONE OF THE STRONGEST SPIRITS THAT CAME THROUGH WAS A FEMALE WHO HAD A VERY NEGATIVE ATTITUDE. SHE DID NOT LIKE PEOPLE IN GENERAL. SHE WAS QUITE AGGRESSIVE TOWARDS THE FEMALES IN OUR GROUP, ESPECIALLY SANDY AND BRANDY. ANOTHER STRONG INTITY WAS A MALE. INTERESTINGLY ENOUGH HE WAS A WOMANIZER. WHAT A PAIR THESE TWO SPIRITS MADE.
A SPIRIT OF A YOUNG BOY HUNG TIGHTLY TO SANDY'S LEG DURING THE ENTIRE TIME WE WERE THERE. HE DID NOT LIKE THE ARROGANT WOMAN WHO HAD BEEN ARGUING WITH OUR GROUP. BY THE TIME WE WERE FINISHED WITH THE INVESTIGATION THE SPIRIT OF THE YOUNG CHILD HAD FOUND THE SPIRIT OF A DOG, WHO WAS ALSO ROAMING THIS HOME. THEY PLAYED JOYFULLY AROUND IN THE LIVING ROOM.
NOW THAT THE NONSCIENTIFIC INFORMATION HAS BEEN DISCUSSED, I WILL EXPLAIN WHAT WAS SCIENTIFICALLY FOUND. WHILE WE WERE WAITING TO BEGIN THE INVESTIGATION, SANDY SENSED A WOMAN IN THE HALLWAY OUTSIDE OF THE MASTER BEDROOM. A PHOTOGRAPH WAS TAKEN AND AN ORB DID APPEAR EXACTLY WHERE SANDY SAW THE WOMAN. WE BEGAN INVESTIGATING THE HALLWAY IN GREAT DEPTH. SANDY STATED THE SPIRIT OF A YOUNG BOY WAS HOLDING HER HAND. HER HAND FELT VERY COLD. WE CHECKED THE TEMPERATURE OF HER HAND, ARM AND BODY. HER BODY TEMPERATURE WAS CONSISTENTLY IN THE HIGH EIGHTIES, BUT HER ARM, THE ONE THE CHILD WAS HOLDING ONTO, REGISTERED 68 DEGREES.
DURING THE EXTENDED TIME WE WERE IN THE BEDROOM COMMUNICATING WITH THE SPIRITS OF NUMEROUS DECEASED PEOPLE, MANY PHOTOGRAPHS WERE TAKEN. I HAVE TO SAY THAT I DID NOT HEAR OR WITNESS ANY SIGNIFICANT EMF OR TEMPERATURE FLUX READINGS THAT WERE OF GREAT INTEREST. BUT AGAIN WHEN SANDY OR SCOTT WOULD POINT OUT AN AREA OF THE ROOM AND REQUEST A PHOTO BE TAKEN, AN ORB WOULD APPEAR IN THE PICTURE. AS FAR AS I AM CONCERNED THIS IS SOME, EVEN IF MINIMAL, EVIDENCE THAT OUR SENSITIVES DID INDEED PICK UP ENERGIES IN THE BEDROOM.
MANY NAMES OF INTEREST WERE RETRIEVED BY OUR SENSITIVES. ONE WAS THE LAST NAME OF ANDERSON. DAYS AFTER THE INVESTIGATION WE WERE ADVISED ONE OF THE SPIRIT'S LAST NAME WAS AKERSON. WE DID NOT HAVE THE EXACT NAME, BUT CLOSE ENOUGH FOR ME TO AGAIN BELIEVE IT LEADS CREDIBILITY TO OUR SENSITIVES.
BY THE TIME WE WERE FINISHED WITH THE INVESTIGATION, THERE WAS A STRONG BELIEVE THAT THIS RESIDENCE HELD A VORTEX THAT ALLOWED MANY UNHAPPY ENERGIES INTO THIS HOME. THE OWNERS THEMSELVES STATED THEY HAVE WITNESSED THE VORTEX, WITNESSED ITEMS BEING THROWN AROUND. IE; TUPPERWARE FLYING FROM THE CABINETS AND HITTING THE MALE RESIDENT, PICTURES BEING KNOCKED TO THE FLOOR AND EVEN MANIFESTATIONS.
ADDING TOGETHER THE INFORMATION WE RECEIVED FROM THE OWNERS, THE INFORMATION GATHERED BY THE SENSITIVES AND PHOTOGRAPHS OF ORBS BEING RECOVERED IN THE EXACT LOCATIONS THEY WERE SENSED, LEAVES CREDIBILITY, AT LEAST TO ME, THAT IN FACT THERE ARE SPIRITS THAT ARE IN THIS HOME. UNFORTUNATELY NOT TO MANY OF THEM ARE OVERLY FRIENDLY.

El Prado
observations:
1. Weird sensation in my chest in the bedroom of El Prado. (I initially attributed it to an upset stomach, or digestion disorders).
*Woman felt/seen by Scott; has nothing but contempt for her past husband/partner.
*She had negative thoughts/words to say about Brandy.
2. Weird sensation leaves after exit of aforementioned bedroom.
3. Warm feeling (temperature fluctuation?) among members of group in living/dining area.
4. Weird feeling looking at picture of man (priest/black and white photo) in the business office of house. Found out later that the picture suspends from 'dresser drawer' on its corner from time to time, with no real explanation how 'the picture can sit like it does.
5. EMF readings in front of the bathroom indicate danger at one fleeting moment and caution at another. Learn later of a girl (seen/felt) by two sensitives (scott/sandy) in the tub with her arm draped over the side of the tub. suicide?
6. Woman in the bedroom mentioned in #1 has a strong presence in El Prado art studio. Sandy has to exit from art studio with help from Scott and Denise to recover. I made a comment eluding to her beauty while in the room, and Brandy replied 'be careful' (a warning to watch for undue attention from the entity). She was referred to as the Sea Hag.
7. I believe the cat that resides in the home, who I accidentally stepped on, will pass soon, and will join the spirits of the dog that Scott, Sandy and Denise saw/felt. The cat is 17 years old, a long life for the little fella.
8. A lot of energy there!
9. The temperature readings: It is fascinating to me how the temperature can change from one degree to nine degrees below the original reading in one area.

Dec. 14, 2002
Present: Brandy, Sandy, Sue, Scott, Troy, Denise, F and S (homeowners), and pet cat.
Activity: S and F often see things/shadows moving out of the corner of their eyes while objects disappear or are moved. F has been assaulted by Tupperware and S has nightmares on the few hours of sleep she can get. Strange noises are heard in the house and on more than one occasion it sounds as if things are crashing to the floor. Upon investigation, nothing is out of place.
Investigation:
As soon as we entered the house the spirits were ready and eager to talk to us. I didn't even get my vest on before they started in. In the hallway between the living room and bedroom I had a little boy attach himself to me. He was around three years old and clamped onto my leg for the better part of the night.
Master bedroom:
Possible vortex and the room felt very heavy and oppressive. There were many entities who wanted to speak to us. One was a young woman who we met on a previous investigation that was overjoyed that we had found her again and that we had told her story. Another was a woman who had committed suicide after her husband left her that we would later call the Sea Hag. Not a very nice person at all. A third was a young woman who didn't understand she had died and couldn't understand why she didn't exist any more, very lost and confused. Scott picked up an older man with chest problems. At one point he was holding back a group of entities in order to try and keep some order to the investigation.
Studio:
This is the lair of the Sea Hag and she's very strong here. She is depicted in several works by S who states that the Hag comes through in her dreams. The Hag was very confrontational and hateful while we were in the studio. Denise and Scott had to carry me out of the room when a man attached himself to me. He couldn't understand why I couldn't see or talk to him and he wouldn't give me a chance to explain. I feel he may have some mental retardation.
Dining room:
One team member's father made an appearance and another heard from an old friend. We picked up on a college age man who died in a hazing accident. In the living room Scott felt an Irish Setter dog and the boy went to it. They played in the middle of the living room floor for a while. I also feel that the doorway between the living room and hallway is the demarcation point of the house. The back part of the house is very heavy and oppressive while the front is very light and airy.
Backyard:
The backyard is full of energy and their were entities every where you looked. The word "conduit" kept popping in to my head as if the home is a way station of sorts for ghosts.
Conclusions:
The home is Grand Central Station for entities and both S and F have psi abilities. S seems to attract suicides to her and F saw the vortex open in the bedroom. I feel the house is worth further investigation.

Have you ever been caught in an undertow? You can feel the pulling of the water around you and you can't get out. Well that was the feeling in the home on El Prado. As soon as I walked into the home, I knew that there were a lot more beings in that house then the owners. It turned out that the owners had a vortex in their bedroom which was allowing ghost to travel into our world.
Throughout the home we got 0 EMF readings, but the temperature did flex once or twice. But these are the science in which we use, and sometime science isn't enough. As one of the psychic in the group I picked up at least 15 different people. Among them were even some of my fellow hunters loved ones. This rip in reality was tapping into my fellow hunters lives and allowing their family members to speck to them. Some were very positive and light hearted, while others were not so pleasant.
Lesson in ghost hunting: Don't rely on science, alone, for all the answers. Use what nature provided us because you never know what you may find that science missed.
Follow up communications:
Talked to my Mom. My Maternal Grandmother's maiden name is Ackerson (not
anderson). and her father was from sweden. It was originally Ekerson but they
changed it in America. Frank Ackerson was her 1/2 brother (who I've never
heard of - seems she had a bunch of siblings; I only new of 2 growing up).
apparently her Dad moved west & married a much younger woman & started a new
family when my grandmother was growing up. Frank died in the 80s. My Mom
thought it may have had something to do with a bad liver or drinking. She
also mentioned another one (thought his name was george but not sure) who was
"a real Playboy", drank & partied heavily & died of alcohol poisoning while
partying in college (she guessed in late 60s maybe). I don't know if this is
of any interst so I'm just passing it on. Other than Thomas & Alice I
couldn't remember other names. We have lots of Thomases & Alice rings a bell
but she's not sure why. She said if you want to run any names by her, just
email to me & I'll forward.
Once again, love to have you guys visit- it's quite fascinating (&
entertaining).
