Brandy's images: For reasons unknown, my digital camera went out of focus in areas of the storage room, supply closet, and the car. All other images, including images taken before the investigation at multiple spots (including another allegedly haunted spot) were completely in focus. These areas were places where sensitives picked up strong energy. Unknown if it is only a camera malfunction or if there is something more to this. (See before image posted, then out of focus shot)
Brandy's images: This is the car where I felt as if the car were vibrating. The shadow in the right corner is likely something blocking the flash and the car, itself, is also slightly out of focus though the tools behind it are in focus. Nearly every person in the group had a negative experience with the car.
On Site Dicussion, Post cold walk through:
Verna: When we first walked in we started in the garage area. Felt something as soon as we walked in. walked in the whole way; around the old car particularly. Black tool box to the left; energy; car and tool box close in proximity; area in between the tool box and car had nothing but near the tool box it picked up again. Parts alcove with the plastic drape; weird in there. No strange energy, not balanced in there. Nothing super noticeable. Blue life with motorcycles; pain in left arm like arm was hurt. Drill with shavings on the floor; heard ‘someone got hurt’ in that area. I walked into the men’s bathroom; felt strange; women’s nothing. In the garage there is a desk and I felt a lot of energy there; sensed an old man, angry, bossy, haggard there. Went up on the second floor and felt nothing there. Came downstairs and went into the blue office -- felt as if there was something wrong there. Orange office, felt nothing. Went into the wood office (chiropracter’s office) and felt like there was something majorly wrong. Memory card got full on camera, though it is not actually full. Felt energy in the hallway. Opened the closet door and felt energy all over the place. Nothing in the front foyer or the conference room.
Erin: Garage: area near tools chest felt tight. By car, got a bad feeling. I did not like it. That whole area back there I did not like it. The room that has the plastic on it is weird. I went up the stairs, half way up, the EMF went off. All the way upstairs, head started to swim; didn’t like it. The only office that I didn’t want to stay in was the chiropractor’s office. Noticed Natural EMF going off in offices.
Jeanne: Low EMF with KII. Got nothing else.
Sarah: When we were in the conference room, had a cold drafty feeling on my back. I didn’t feel anything negative, though no vents or anything. Orange room, nothing, blue room, off (heavy), chiro’s room (strange, nothing). Drawn to the back area. Little tool room first, nothing much. Drawn upstairs. Kept moving around, felt as if it was moving. Door halfway the stairwell felt drawn to.
Mary: At conference room felt energy by the door to the shop. Going into the shop (garage), when we first went in, there was a feeling of a tenseness in my shoulders. A slight bit by the fuse box, and the KII went off by that. As you keep going straight, slightly to the right there is a tool box by the floor. It had an energy; felt that there was something by the car. When first walked in, felt the energy of a man by the stairs. The blue office was uncomfortable to me. Chiro office I didn’t like it (but may be the skeleton); office with the water bottles and bad lighting, didn’t like at all. I wonder what is in that door there (closet), there is bad energy there. It goes right into the wall with the water bottles. I have picked up a name: Shane or Blain (unsure first or last name). I don’t know that they go together.
Brandy: When I arrived, noted much of equipment was dead. Not sure why. Not used and should not have run down. The Ovilus died twice with recharged batteries, not sure why. Nothing in the offices, EMF was 2.5 for most of the offices. Garage: Unusual feeling. Upstairs noted the cobwebs and the energy conduits. Felt dizzy, heat in hands (Comment: there are chakras in the hands). On way down, noted that “this would be the perfect place for a suicide with the rafters and ropes.” Saw a car on the way down. Thought that it might be a kit car but wondered if someone died with it ( not sure why).
Kathy: Didn’t feel anything in the front or the Blue office. The hallway leading back is creepy. There is just something creepy about the back side hallway. The “bones” office -- felt watched. Creepy feeling, almost feel a tingling sensation…back closet didn’t want anywhere near it. When I got into the shop (garage) the small room that has the plastic door thing I felt really bad, dizzy, buzzing in my head, I didn’t want to enter it. I felt a male presence. I got a message that told me that I know him through Les. The area between the two doors that go between the shop to the offices, felt watched. Nothing anywhere else.
Beth: When we first walked in I felt energy in the hallway (male energy). When we went to do the investigation we didn’t feel it any longer. The chiro office, I got the male energy. I didn’t like it but I couldn’t put a finger on what it was, but it was male and uncomfortable. Going into the shop, the small desk to the right, I was picking up some energy there, I was feeling some pressure in the chest, small spikes on the meter. Vanilla scent (need to check on the misters). In the parts room, I also picked up on a male; I was getting very dizzy, getting small and very rapid spikes on the meter.
Les: I got EMF 2.5 out in the shop they dropped down to 1.25, came up a little bit in the parts room and the rest of it is in the conference room 2 - 2.50.
Comments: During interview session, several commented that neck hurt.
Verna: Asked about building of the offices; early 70s they offices (the wood paneled offices; one was storage and the other was chiro).

Discussion with Office Manager:
General consensus: Entity is moving away from us. Not sure if there is one or more than one. Belief is that there may be three; Beth: two and the one by the car.
Angry old man:
Confirmed: “Dick” -- he was the founder of the company. His son still works here and felt that his father first started coming here shortly after he died. Kathy saw him when she worked here. She was in the blue office (conference room at the time, saw someone out of peripheral vision) coming into another office (his son’s office); he disappeared. She described the man to the office staff and that was one of the employee’s father. Pain in the left arm as reported by Verna, confirmed -- Dick had a deformed arm that ended part way with two fingers. Potential confirmed: Chest pain; Dick died of heart issues.
Hovering figure: confirmed (sensed by Erin); people report feeling a hovering figure. He is seen heading down the hallway where SPIRITS members felt uncomfortable towards the closet area. Unknown figure.
Garage: Darryl: A former employee with a strong personality. He died of cancer; he is still seen by others; Darryl is reported “always hanging around” another employee. Car: Confirmed: We learned that Darryl had a 1967 antique car that he kept in the exact same spot as the kit car in the garage. The kit car is being built by the employee who is being “haunted” by Darryl. Darryl was very possessive of his [1967] car; the car sat in the garage for years after Darryl died. It was moved outside and sat there for years before finally being discarded. Employee reports that when he works on his kit car, he feels Darryl with him, sees him out of the corner of his eye.
Milton: Father of another employee worked here for 13/14 years. He didn’t like Darryl. He is felt in the building by Kathy and Beth, who are related to the employee (the son, who still works for the company). Speculate that the parts room feels unbalance because of the disagreement between Milt and Darryl. Office manager doesn’t believe that Milton doesn’t make himself known that often.
Also reported, phones dialing themselves (old system).
Filing drawers would close by themselves.
Tools would move around in the garage by themselves.
Ladies room door opens on its own to the extent that the door must be locked in order to keep the door from opening.
Man’s voice heard.
Office manger felt strange before the investigation started. As if they knew and were a bit agitated; Les confirmed that their personalities would not have interacted with us. They would have considered this “bunk”. May have explained the sense of why they kept moving away from us. They’d be in the room and move out.
Darryl and Dick were friends and got along in life; maybe they get along in death too.
When we were in the back office manager reported that she saw something moving by the front door. She felt the need to lock the front door; not sure who or what it was….

Mary: The KII meter randomly spiked slightly in a couple areas without a natural source being found.

Mary: When we first arrived and passed by the door leading to the shop area, I felt definite energy just inside the door. Later when our team went into the shop, I could sense the presence of an older man toward the very bottom of the stairs, close to a storage area. While sometimes I am able to see entities in detail, this was not the case on this investigation, but his presence was definite. Over in the back corner of the shop, I felt definite energy by a car the point that I actually put my hand on it. However, there was nothing. The area, though, had a definite male energy. Often we get some communication from entities on site, but both Verna and I felt that we would not get any as this entity (or entities) seemed to keep moving. The other area that I felt a lot of energy in was the back office. When walking into that room, I felt a definite "surly" male energy near the door on the right. This wall is in common with a storage closet that when opened, had a very strong almost malevolent feel. It was strong enough that Verna and I had to close the door and move from there immediately. Leter when we returned with the rest of the group to the closet, the area was completely benign. Once again the entity(ies) had moved on without any communication. There was one other thing that I noted: a yellow-handled tool that looked like something to take off lug nuts from a tire. This felt to me like it had some minor energy connected with it.

Mary: One of the SPIRITS' members has had ties with this business for many years. We learned after revealing our findings that there was a rather surly male that had worked there for many years who had kept his car in the same spot where the other car now sat. We also discovered that often the owner of the car, when he was working on it, felt the presence of this man watching him. When revealing information about this man, the office manager stated this former employee would have thought that paranormal investigation would be a waste of time and would have not agreed to having it done. This could explain his reluctance to communicate with us. Another entity often felt was the former owner of the business who has been seen too. There is also a third entity who is often felt who ran the shop and who was related to the SPIRITS team member.

The closet area at the end of the hall needs to have additional testing done with EMF as does the adjacent room, to include EVP work as well. I would recheck the shop area where the car is and do more EVP there also. I think that with less people investigating, that there is a better chance that one (or more) of the entities will be more willing to cooperate in communication.

Mary: Les had a large, very detailed orb show in one of his pictures of the top of the stairs in the shop. This could not be recreated and there was nothing that could have caused any type of reflection that we could find. This was a unique opportunity to investigate a rather large business with a history of several hauntings. It was also unique since one of our members had actually been associated with it continually since it was built.

Verna Peddi Garage area felt sensation that something was there. Old car in rear, felt a lot of energy there at the car. Felt energy around the black tool box in the same back corner as the car. Parts Alcove felt very unbalanced. Felt a pain in my left arm near the car by the blue lift. The pain was between my fore arm and wrist. Was told later that the original owner had a malformed left arm same area as the pain. Drill with metal shavings around it, picked up that there may have been an accident in the building. Felt strange sensation in the men's bathroom. Desk in garage area had a lot of energy. Felt as if an haggardly old man was sitting there kind of annoyed and smoking. He felt over worked and irritated. Blue office had a lot of energy. Felt an energy that could not leave. Had either an attachment due to the building or due to a relative. Orange office, no energy. Paneled office did not get a good feeling. This was the chiropractic room. Second paneled room, felt nothing. Felt energy in the hall way. Utility closet at the end of the hall contained a lot of bad energy. After returning to it, it had disappeared.

Erin: When I was on the stairs in the garage, about 3 or 4 steps up, the EMF meter went off. I placed it hear the walls, the floor, and checked for any other electrical devices that could have set it off, and was unable to make it go off again.

Erin: When I was in the garage area, near the exit door, I started to feel like my chest was tight. I went over by the car and felt very uneasy. Then I went up into the attic and also felt very uneasy, my head was swimming. Later, after we reconvened in the conference room and were talking, my neck started to hurt quite a bit. It dissipated after about ten minutes and did not return. When we went back to the car area, I had the tightness in my chest again, and it was hard to breathe. In the back corner office that no one wanted to go into, I felt as if I was being watched from behind my right shoulder when I was sitting at the desk during the EVP session.

I feel that it might be helpful to go back with just a small group of people, maybe 3 or 4, and do a recheck. The spirit(s) seemed to keep moving away from the group, so maybe a very small group would be beneficial. Also, because some of the group members are acquainted with the place, if they investigated alone they might find they get much more cooperation.

Erin: For my first investigation, it was definitely interesting. There seemed to be a good amount of activity, although unfortunately it didn't seem interested in communicating. I hope the group can continue to check this location in the hopes of gathering some data.

During the investigation, the batteries on the Ovilus kept dying. All of the equipment, which had been fine when I last used it two weeks prior, was drained. All batteries had to be replaced during the investigation and the computer had to be recharged. I could understand this if I hadn't been on an investigation in months, but most of the equipment had been used in the past month, shut off, and safely stored. I do not know why this happened. During one of the Puck sessions, the computer went to "rest" mode without any real reason. It had just been used and simply shut down. It took nearly a minute to get the computer to reactivate. This was near the car, where everyone felt something had happened. When reviewing the data, the EVP had a lot of digital sounding noise in the background for one EVP (taken in the storage area). Several of my photographs came out blurred for reasons unknown. The blurred images only showed up in the storage room, near the car, and in the closet.

I recall making two "dark" remarks and I'm not sure why I made them. One was as I walked down the stairs in the garage. I commented that this would be a perfect place to commit suicide as the rafters and ropes were already there (this even surprised me). Near the car, I did say that I felt that something had happened there and I believe I asked if someone had died in conjunction with the car, though this made no sense to me. The car was an obvious kit car (which I also stated out loud) and it was in good condition (though covered with dust). Upstairs I felt heat leave from my hands -- a sign to me that something is about to happen or that my energy is being drained. This sensation really only seems to happen on ghost investigations or during religious ceremonies (another member explained that we have chakra energy in our hands. Mental note: must research this. As an artist I use my hands to sculpt and often feel as if I do channel myself into my art to a certain degree. Perhaps the two are related). I had the impression that the entities were attempting to avoid us. Every time we came into an area where they were sensed, they would move and the sensations would stop. I do wonder if the "Puck" got something with the idea of the car question -- one of the answers was that it was "built".

One of our members has worked there for nearly 30 years. I did learn that 2 employees died, though not on the property. The two offices that caused several members to feel odd were added on after the initial building was created. I also learned the reason for the reaction to the car -- one of the employees who died, a very temperamental man -- stored his car in the exact spot where the kit car was. The car sat there for years after his death until it was towed out and taken off the property. One employee who reports phenomena says that he feels the ghost of the man who owned the car often when he is working on the kit car. Tools are also heard moving in the garage area. At least two ghosts are seen. Both men had similar tempers and were friends in life. Neither would have liked what we were doing and would have considered it "bull". The third ghost is the father of the employee who also worked at the company for a time. I'm not sure that he was a long time presence there for us that night. Most everything else I did try to document in the notes which I'll post.

I wish that there was some way of addressing the entities to find out WHY they are there. Their avoidances of us was a bit frustrating.

Sarah: They started to let me know right off the bat that they were there. Yet not for long and it seemed they would linger for a few minutes then vanish. I didnt feel them much during the walk through besides being watched a bit in the chiropractic room especially. I was drawn to the back of the garage from the moment I got there but wasnt sure why. During the group investigation I kept feeling waves of nausea and at one point felt like someone was standing right behind me as Brandy was using the ovulus at the car but when I turned around no one was there. Towards the end of the night I felt they were done being around us and didnt wish to communicate at all anymore.

Sarah: Mostly about the men who worked here and their personalitys how they got along and clashed. It was interesting to hear how their personalites in the living was probably why they werent wanting to communicate from the spirit world.

More pictures of the top of staircase. As well as maybe the fact the woman said that the phones will ring and no one will be on the other end very often. We didnt look too much into that.

The building was built in 1971. There wasn't anything on the property when Mr. Carlson bought it. No one else has ever owned the building. The man that originally owned ICI was Maurice Richard Carlson. He died in July 1988. Now owned by Barry D. Carlson, his son.
The company name at that time was Interstate Markings Inc. Became International Contractors Inc. about 1983-84. Also there was an address change from 6540 to 6570 126th Ave. No. probably sometime in the 90's.
When built it only had the offices across the front of the building. the other two offices and the storage room at the end of the hall were added early 80's. The storage room in the shop and the room above it were added late 90's.
People that worked at that office for a very long time that have passed would be:

Mary: Other than one picture with a very bright orb, my equipment did not register any other activity. The voice recordings have not yet been completely reviewed and so there may be EVPS that were gathered from them.

Mary: On first entering the shop area and moving toward the back, there was a definitely a concentration of energy. This was not present when we later returned to identified "hot spots." While in the shop area, the word "crane" came to me. Les later explained that there used to be "homemade" cranes that were used to lift things in the shop area. They are no longer there. Also, I had the distinct impression of a man who came to the door of the break room and observed as some of our members took readings.

Mary: It would be good to do periodic rechecks of this location. Ideally it would be good to be able to leave 2 camcorders overnight to record activity around the car and around the desk in the shop.

Mary: The employees of the business told us that they entities no longer seem to be in the office areas, but seem to be confining themselves to the shop area. On this recheck, there was definitely not the energy levels in that area that we had experienced the first time

Verna Warehouse near pool table felt the man who had cancer there. Hallway- felt an energy there. In the warehouse - picked up- he says he is trying to work. he is bent over working. He was then felt behind me. he is a little mad, but not at us. He is talking, but unable to make it out. (after chatting with group, we believe I was picking up on les's dad.) Under the stairs. little supply room felt- Someone says it is too messy. I cannot find anything. Pool table area- picked up that things had been tampered with or moved around. Felt really dense energy by closet in the hallway. Chiropractic room held a lot of energy. Front office- lots of dense energy. turned around in the hallway and felt a man standing at the doorway to the break room.

Beth- Feeling of someone standing beside me in the corner of the break room. There was no change on the emf. Heaviness and anger sensed in the parts room area of the shop. Upon opening the door from the shop to the side offices I felt a "gush" of energy. It was heavy and unpleasant. This feeling was very strong in the hallway and in the hall closet. I felt uncomfortable entering the owner's office.

I found it interesting that the energies that I felt on the first walkthrough were not present the second time around. As I recall with the first visit to ICI, the energies seemed to move around.
