Someone who has crossed over is coming for a visit.

Name:  Granny or Gretchen (heard the name in kitchen)

Evie:  By hallway in area with washer and dryer, felt a presence

Dani:  2 good orbs in bedroom, 1 above chair and on back porch (2 pictures)

Mary:  bedroom 2:  light cool breeze lower than the bed.

Needle on EMF meter (going with EVP) spiked with the following gphrases:

Glory, Gloria, Laurie (or an “orie” name)

Issue related to the mirror

Kitchen:  Denise:  entity still here and watching

Had eye problems (glaucoma?  EMF spike)

But more issues than just the eye.

Died before saying goodbye (spike)

A son or grandson, someone did not get to see her in time

It’s an old death; died in hospital or under medical care (spike)

Someone not there at the time (Sully, Sullivan)

She wanted to let every one know that she is very happy, and that she got to say goodbye to most.

She was happy about jewelry that was given away.

Peripheral vision manifestation and lights, yes.

Name confirmation:  Grams (86 – 87 when she died of Parkinsons)

Nursing home, then transferred to Hospice House

Male, grandson she didn’t get to see.

Family told by a psychic that another grandson (who lived in the home with homeowner) would see her in the mirror, she would appear to him in the mirror.  He was trying too hard to see her.

Tory is the daughter of the grandson (the “orie” name)

Homeowner:  Key West trip:  traveling out of area.  (Denise:  entity was the one who was put idea in homeowner’s mind).  (Key; “Ca”)

Jewelry:  2 crosses, one given to Tory and to a brother (belonged to deceased)

Homeowner in this house for 1 year; prior home she had lights that went off for a few weeks after her mother died, and a couple of months ago, the light near her flickered.  Only light in house to do that.

Conclusion:  This is a drop-in entity/gaurdian.  The homeowner confided that she was recovering from a period of bad health.  Since this is the homeowner's mother, and parental figures are the most often to show up in reported cases, I have no doubt that this is happening.

I find it of interest that the areas of activity were hit upon by Denise, and that the EMF remained active as long as Denise was speaking, but dropped off after that.  The EMF meter spiked every time Denise got a "correct" answer.  The entity was weak for most everything else, but got her message across.

“Hello, I”m fine”

I like these types of hunts because they allow me to communicate with the homeowners deceased loved ones.  Passing on messages or just letting them know that their deceased loved one is fine and happy, seems to please not only the homeowner, but I get a sense of fulfillment. 

Once I entered the home and began setting up my equipment I sensed an elderly woman in a white, pale, nightgown standing behind the older female homeowner.  The spirit was a shorter woman, but had a larger torso.  She had thin small legs.  She was in her middle 80's.  I felt that she was attached to the homeowner she was standing behind, due to her having placed her hand on the homeowners shoulder. 

Once entering the second story of the residence, I felt that the elderly woman's spirit was following us around.  I noticed my headache was getting worse as I stayed up stairs.  We entered the master bedroom and my head felt like it was going to explode.  I acknowledged that the person had died of issues that concluded with the head.  IE: head trauma, blood clot, stroke, etc.  My headache immediately went away.  I then took some digital pictures in the MBR and caught a possible orb in the corner of the room.  I requested Brandy take a picture, but her camera died the minute she tried.  I felt the spirit leave the room and told Brandy she did not need a picture any longer.  Brandy pointed her camera at the spot and for some reason the camera now worked and she was able to retrieve a photo.  Although it had negative results.

Prior to leaving the MBR on the second floor, I retrieved two names of interest.  First the name Granny, Gretchen, Gram, “GRA” sounding name.  The second was Lori, “ORI” sounding name.

After finishing the first silent walk through we attempted to communicate with the spirit using the EMF meter and digital recorders.  When asking questions the EMF meter would beep for the answer yes and stay quiet for no answers.  See Brandy's report for details on the questions and answers.

We entered the kitchen and I began speaking one on one with the Spirit.  She advised that she wanted to pass on a message to her daughter, the homeowner.  She wanted her to know that she was happy where she was at and that there is nothing to be afraid of.  She acknowledged that she was in some type of nursing home prior to her death and that someone felt bad about having to do this.  She also did not get to say good by to one of her grandchildren, a male.  The homeowner confirmed that her mom went by the name of Grams.  She was in a hospice house and died of Parkinson's Disease.  She did not get to say good to one of her grandsons.  

One of the homeowners, and another one of her grandsons, had desired to see Grams.  A psychic told him that his Grams would show herself to him in a mirror.  Although I did not see her in the mirror or get that feeling, Grams presence was the strongest in his bedroom.  There for I do believe she spends much time there trying to communicate with him.

The “ORI” name was the spirits granddaughter, who was also present during this investigation.  Her name is “TORI”.  This was a good way for the spirit to acknowledge and say hello to her grandchild.  I stated there was a necklace that she had given to someone that was significant to the spirit.  The homeowner confirmed that yes two of her grandchildren were given a cross on a necklace by their Grams.  This was important to the children.  The only other confirmation I could receive prior to her spirit energy fading away was that Grams spirit sent her daughter, the homeowner, on a trip to a bed and breakfast recently.  It was time she needed away.  Again this was confirmed by the homeowner.  During the communication the EMF meter did beep several times which also confirmed my answers as being accurate.  Several ORB photos were received and will be placed on the website for future viewing.

By the conclusion of this investigation I felt that the homeowners deceased mother was able to say hello and pass on messages to the homeowners which hopefully will give them peace and confirmation for their future.  I am pleased she took the time to pop in.  Hopefully this brings some closure to the family.

Bedroom #2: This room felt cooler than the other rooms, but thermometer

stayed the same. No evidence in pictures.

Master bedroom: EMF a little higher according to Brandy. Temperature was 81.

Denise setup stationary camera to video the southeast (?) corner of the

bedroom. I captured three orbs on my digital camera over the bed near the

ceiling. They could have been dust orbs.

Master closet: Temperature 81.  No evidence in pictures.

Master bathroom: No evidence in pictures.

Dining room: EMF 1.0 Temperature 81. No evidence in pictures.

Kitchen: Temperature 80. No evidence in pictures.

Living room: Orb over the large chair possibly dust.

Back porch: 1.2 EMF Temperature 80. Large orb was captured in the exact same

spot in two separate pictures. Possibly dust.

Back yard: Temperature 80. There was a cable TV. Wire present and an A.C.

unit. No evidence in pictures.

Second walk through

Time: 8:50 p.m.

Master bedroom:  EMF jumped twice to a 1.5, EVP on

Denise interviews entity. She gets a name... Gloria or Lorie. She also hears

son-in-law or son.

EMF spiked a bit when asked about the mirror over the dresser.

Also had a small spike when she mentioned the kitchen.

Kitchen: Brandy mentioned glaucoma and EMF spiked a bit. Denise is getting

eye issues. Spiked when Denise mentioned not getting to say goodbye to

someone. Mentioned died in hospital caused a small spike.

Denise is getting Sullivan or Sully.

Entity wants everyone to know she's happy. Double small spike at mention of

entity happy at the place they are.

A necklace, entity is happy about a person getting a necklace.

Denise feels presence right next to her.

Name Trevor caused a small spike on emf. Trevor or Travis, small spike

again.

Something else to say...weak energy.

Denise gets traveling somewhere, California? Colorado? A trip maybe

Carolina.

Two small spikes when Denise said, "that's all".

Asked about lights and emf spiked a bit.

Summary

Homeowner's mother is believed to be the entity present. She had Parkinson's

disease and died in a hospice and was in a nursing home before that. Entity

didn't get to see Grandson before she died. Psychic friend said that she

would appear in master bedroom mirror. Tori is the great-granddaughter of

entity.

Hunt:  clear night  began 7:40 pm-9:20 PM

Equipment:  Video cameras, digital cameras, EMF meters, recorders

During the initial walk-through, there were very small infrequent spikes in EMF. In bedroom there was a slight spike at the end of the bed (this was the only EMF spike I got during the evening).  Reaching down with the EMF meter toward the floor, there was a cool breeze across my right hand. No pictures taken in that room revealed any orbs. Brandy reported feeling a cool breeze across her legs in the hallway outside that bedroom. During this time, the air conditioner was not on nor were there any fans on to account for these breezes.

Progressing to the master bedroom, Denise picked up on an elderly woman's spirit.  She also was experiencing an intense headache and thought that perhaps this woman had died of a stroke, head-related injury, or other head trauma such as a clot.  With this revelation, Denise reported that her headache had gone away.  Various questions put to the spirit brought up a name that started with a "gr" sound, like Grams.  Also an "ori" name like Gloria or Lorie came to Denise as being significant. In this room one picture contains a large faint orb on the ceiling over the bed post.

After coming downstairs, Evie felt that there was something near the laundry room.  At the same time I took a picture up the stairs.  There was a large orb that was present in the picture in the hallway just outside bedroom 2.  There was also an orb that appeared in the dining room.

Going into the kitchen, Denise continued with asking the entity questions that were responded to by spikes on the EMF.  One of the homeowners was able to verify that the entity that Denise had communicated with was her mother who had passed away, both from a physical description given by Denise and by answers to various questions that were posed by Denise. This homeowner has had some serious health issues recently. This entity is not in residence, but is there to watch over the family members.

Evie's report:

On 6/17/2006, we were invited to a home in Spring HIll. This was a 3 bedroom home with the bedrooms and a sitting room upstairs. As usual we didn't know anything about the circumstances for the hunt.

When we met to discuss our findings, our physic picked up a grandmother figure, family names and other information that was validated by the homeowners mother. The homeowners mother has some health issues and if was felt that the grandmother was attempting to comfort the family and watch over them.

Out of 26 pictures, I have three with possible orbs. I felt a presence in the downstairs entry way. One of the other members captured an orb right above where I was standing and my picture of the closet with the orb in the right corner is also directly above where I was standing in the entryway. The picture that looks like an orb right above the bed post could be a reflection of the light. There is also an orb on the wall of another bedroom to the left of the curtain.

In honor of June 2008 and the SPIRITS of St. Petersburg’s co-hosting the Florida Ghost Gathering Conference, this month’s article will be short and to the point.

One of the most common stories in paranormal investigation is that of the parents or grandparents who return to visit their living offspring.  It seems that even death cannot break the bonds that exist between families; they truly transcend space and time.

This investigation is one of the most prominent examples of maternal love that transcended the other side.  The homeowner’s mother had died a year before and yet had not completely left this plane of existence.   She made her presence known, often through the manifestation of electronic phenomena.  However, when the SPIRITS were there, the team sensitive was overwhelmed with the mother’s presence.  The message was simple:  “Hello, I’m okay.”

The EMF meter matched the sensitive contact.  During the entire question and answer session with the sensitive, the meter recorded unusually high readings.  It was the only time readings were recorded during the investigation.

Traditionally, family members are said to manifest to loved ones for one year after death.  As time continues, the manifestations fade to major events and holidays.  While parents never completely exit their children’s’ lives, they do become less active; however, as long as they are never fully forgotten, the are never fully gone.
