The Paranormal Puck came up with several interesting phrases. I would explain its function in each room and then ask the entity to use the puck to answer questions. I set the Puck to constant mode. When I would go into a room, the Puck would "talk" at random. When I would explain directions, the Puck stopped "chatting". When I asked a question, it would pause, say 1 word, then pause, and continue. Examples include: Loft -- "What message do you have to pass on?" Answer: Justice. Another time, with the same question, it was "Crossover". It also came up with "Problem Pet" (the family dog reacts badly to something in the area). When we were up in the apt. area, my computer froze when I was typing about our experiment with the sword. Someone in the area had been stabbed to death; homeowners put up a wooden sword in the room where the individual died. Les had the sword in his hand. When I typed sensitives' response to this (they felt uncomfortable, despite Les being on the team and holding a wooden sword, standing on the opposite side of the room, etc.) and Les added that the entity would not like him, the computer froze. I could see the screen but could not type anything. When the computer "unfroze" the phrase "Les: He would not like me" was highlighted in black, with the font in white, for about 5 seconds before the text reverted to normal. The EVP and experiment in the upstairs apartment got no results. The EVP in the downstairs area, in the room where two men had been killed, resulted in a possible EVP. In two places on the 9 minute recording there are sounds similar to whispers. The first is so faint that I am not sure that it will translate via computer. The second is audible to the ear without modification. Denise is describing a child that belongs to one of the deceased. I asked "What is the child's name?" and she whispered "I don't know". However, after that there sounds like more whispering. No one in the room was speaking and I am not sure where the sound might have come from.

A ton. Site had three deaths which were documented via various reports. Police case is still on-going for one suspect; the other was caught and is serving time.

Erin- While standing at the bottom of the stairs, I heard a crunching noise, sounded like walking coming from another area. Followed the sound into the Dillon's Tavern room. I turned around to walk back into the kitchen and out of the corner of my eye I saw a man, not an apparition but a vision, sitting in the armchair next to the kitchen door. I couldn't see any features about him, just that it was a man sitting in the chair with his arms on the armrests.

KII unexplainably lit up several times while talking to owners. For the majority of the time, there was nothing.

Mary: While speaking with the business owners, the KII meter started lighting up intermittently for no apparent reason. It was definitely not lighting up in a consistent pattern, but only randomly, as we talked. For the first 20-30 minutes there was nothing and then the response started at varying intervals.

I would suggest that the review team re-examine the second floor/loft to see if there is evidence of a second apt. It would be interesting to leave a video camera running on both the first and second floors through the night.

Mary: While I started out as a sensitive/investigator, I was not able to continue the investigation past a walk-up to the second floor due to the extreme heat. Since the AC had been cut off at the team's request in order to minimize any false positives (dust orbs, etc), the air on the second floor was stagnant and very hot. Due to this and the fact that I was recovering from a health issue, I opted to sit with the business owners so that Brandy could investigate. Because of this I had very little in the way of sensitive or investigative results.

Les, EMF readings in front (east) end of building were constant both upstairs and down at 1 on the 0-3 scale and higher on the west end of the building at about 2.2 on the same scale. There were no spikes either up or down from these readings. As for temperature; upstairs read 96-97 and downstairs 90-91 with no cold spots detected.

Beth-Video camera was left on in the Dillon room. When we returned, the camera had shut itself off. There was plenty of battery life left on the camera. I restarted it and it worked fine.

Beth-Upon entering the property's parking lot, I had a vision of a heavy metal object coming towards someone. There was a whooshing sound and a scream. In the lobby, I felt the sensation of energy in the form of full body chills. I felt a dull throbbing pain in the back of my neck. I saw a quick moving shadow (peripheral) at the top of the stair near the apartment. When I held an object that belonged to the previous tenant of the building (now deceased) I again felt the pain in the back of my neck and full body chills.

Upon first entering the business and setting up the camera equipment, I felt as if there was an extremely heavy energy sitting on my shoulders. It was so heavy that my knees were buckling. During the silent walk through I sensed a male energy which was tall and slender to medium build. He had a shaved head and numerous tatoos on his arms and neck and head. I felt as if his appearance was best described as a "skinhead". He was approximately 20 years old. During the investigation I received the following information about him. This male subject whom was possibly named Justin or Jason, was in the building during the time of a possible robbery. The male was an employee. He was beaten and shot in the back of the head as if he was sacraficied. The subject had a close connection with a woman named Katie or Catherine and a small 1 1/2 - 2 year old male child. He was so close to them that it felt like it was possibly his child and the mother of the child. The male subject wanted to say goodbye to them. I received a possible last name of Bell. During the time I was in the small upstairs apt I saw a fake samari sword and felt a stong energy around it. The energy was frightening and I felt like I was going to be cut with it. At one point I had the sword removed from the room due to the negative energy and frightfull thoughts I was getting about it. Later during the interview with the business owners it was determined that in 2006 a man was cut by a samari sword and killed in the apt. I also found out that there was a double homicide and attempted homicide which occurred in 2008. When looking at one of the vicitims, his appearance was almost identical to the spirit I kept seeing in the building. The only difference was his name, and I felt the subject was a white male. The subject was a very light skinned black male, which from the photo could be construde as white. The subject whom he was killed with had a 1 1/2- 2 year old son and an aunt with the possible name of Katie. It is unknown if the information I recieved during the investigation is completely accurate, but I do feel that there is a good possibility that there is some accuracy to it. I feel this business holds a strong energy from all of the crimes which occurred there and a cleansing should be performed to assist in obtaining a more positive atmosphere. Denise

Since moving into the building in June of this year, the four people working in the company (incuding owners) and a visitor (totaling 5) have experienced hearing voices one voice and once two voices (almost like a conversation). Foot steps, moaning & crying sound, dark shadows, a full manifestation, whistling (heard by 2 people at the same time) on Aug. 5th, knocking, battery operated screw guns not working in specific area. My dog ferociously attacking a corner of the room with nothing there. This happened around 11 pm on Aug. 6th.

On the one year anniversary of death: The day of the 1 year mark, loud banging was reported throughout the building. Homeowners thought that someone was at the back door knocking to come in; possibly from outside. Reports of being followed; creaking floor boards, and possibly a disembodied voice on tape recorder reported.
Recheck:
Les: Temp runs from 84 (Dillon room) to 90 outside the main door. EMF run from 1 - 2. No spikes, 0 -100 scale.
Beth: Feeling some physical manifestations in myself; pain in my back in the ribcage area, while walking through the warehouse. I felt a lot of pressure by the door to the back of the ally; tense negative energy in that area. Moving on to Dillon room, I felt nauseous. The whole way through the building I got the name “Chris” (related to business owners) repeated over and over again.
Erin: In the apartment upstairs I got a pain in the back in the neck; toward shoulders than neck. When we walked into the Dillon room, it felt like walking into a wall of bad energy.
Verna: Walked in, the first door to the right (circular area) I was picking up a lot of energy there. I caught the smell of baby oil really clearly. A lot of energy by the radial saw, then as we moved towards the back to the garage door, I felt energy benign; not going either way at that point. The last door to the right before the garage door, I felt a pain to the back of the head (near to the kitchen). Staircase, that is when the energy level got rough, when I stopped onto the staircase, this energy is not very good. Not positive, got onto the second floor, weak in the legs, chocked, scared, my life was being threatened. In the apartment, the energy was just as active as it was outside the apartment, anxiety level rose really high up there. My balance was off in the apartment
Discussion: we did discuss that the floor upstairs is uneven; able to determine that visually.
Verna: Pretty much at this point -- I felt that someone had died in one room. I asked about it and one of the other team members verified that, yes, someone had died. When I walked into that room, all I can tell you is that I was so shaken that I asked if something happened in there. It was a confused state of energy. It was horrific. I felt as if someone had been made to face the wall; a lot of screaming (“No man, No man”); person fell down onto the left side of face.
Adjacent room: Saw two young guys, had rapper-style necklaces, gold chains. When we came back out, there is someone always in here. When we walked into this room (lobby), I felt as if my head was blown off.

I was impressed with Beth's reporting of the events that took place in the apartment. I believe that the area is now haunted with only one entity who is not taking control of the moment. He was young when he died, and he died as a murder. He feels guilt, particularly letting down possibly still living family members. The original death on the property is a residue, which Beth accurately described. The second entity seems to have crossed over post anniversary of his death. The third, however, remains fairly strong. Complains of pain, presence still sensed in the room where he died. He was described by a sensitive who had not been on the property before, quite accurately.

Beth-An overwhelming feeling of negative energy walking from the back staircase and into Dillon's room. During an evp session I heard the name Trey when Brandy asked the name of the person that killed him. Near the back door I had a vision of a man rushing through the door, a woman was outside. There was shouting and fighting at the top of the stairs. A man was pushed backwards into the apartment. The aggressor was angry because of jealousy over the woman and too much alchohol. The two men fighting had been drinking together.

Les EMF stayed steady from 1 to about 2.5 in Dillion Room with no spikes or high readings anywhere. Temperature range from 92 upstairs to a low of 88 in the lobby. Got some orbs in pics but are probably dust.

Mary: It would be beneficial to leave a video camera in the area of Dillon's Tavern at night as well as an audio recorder. Also a late night investigation may produce more responses

Mary: There is a very clear EVP of a whispered male voice saying "no" just after Brandy asked ta question of owners' son who has had the most interaction with the entity. She asked if the entity would be willing to come into the room where we were. It was at this point that the entity answered "no.*

Erin- In the apartment upstairs, I felt a pain on the back of my neck. In the Dillon's Tavern room, it felt like we were walking into a wall of energy when we went into the room at first. I thought I might have caught a glimpse of someone, sort of shadowy in appearance over by the table. In response to the question "Why are you here?" asked in the room, I heard the words "I died here, man." During the EVP session with Brandy and the owner's son, a few of us were listening from the next room over. I was sitting facing the wall adjacent to the shop, and I physically saw a shadow of a person walk past. The shadow was behind the opaque panels that are surrounding the wall air conditioning unit, so I just saw the shape of a person and nothing else. It was walking quickly, and I followed it over to the window where it should have appeared and saw nothing. No one opened the door to come in the room, either. The shadow had disappeared. This was moments before the EVP session was ended.
