People started to feel tired; it just wanted to be acknowledged.
Homeowner interview:
Homeowners initially reported unusual dreams (almost to a night terror)
Animals: Yes, all of our dogs over the years bark at one corner of the sitting room where the fire place is. Our current pet has done this also. (Their son was killed in the living room over 10 years before).
Apportation of objects: objects disappear and reappear a few days later; recently the keys vanished. Bills also vanish.
Shadow vision: One night the wife woke up to see a shadow running right at her. Husband also woke up when she moved back in fear; dog and wife visually followed something that moved through the room.
Wife wears glasses and takes blood pressure meds; nothing unusual.
Interview: Homeowners have lived here 17 years. The original builder of the home (1925) had a lot of property. It is rumored that Marx, Garbo stayed in the home as a winter retreat.
Original homeowner lived to be 90 years old.
Asked about ouiija board: it belonged to homeowner’s son (who died in the house)
She and her daughter had used it several years ago, but female homeowner closed the board.
Felt that their son had passed on and was doing what he wanted to do; he was a guardian to the wife.
Investigator’s conclusions:
We did not have one of our typical sensitives with us, but Mary, Jen and Debbie worked with what they sensed.
I also neglected to bring my digital cameras, but used the Polaroid. No images were positive.
Though we had noted activity in the living room and I had verbally discussed going back. We avoided the area. Debbie noted this and wondered if it was because we may have subconsciously felt the death energy there.
Overall, I was impressed that we targeted the areas of activity reported by the homeowner (the MA bedroom; the computer room used to be the bedroom of the young man who died. They renovated that room first).
I suspect that there are a lot of place memories and possibly a guardian spirit of some sort associated with the house.

Well, I must say that this was one of my favorite hunts. I arrived just in the nick of time, on the dot at 7:00PM.  I drove by and turned on the street to park in the driveway. I did not see any of the group so I kicked back and chatted with the owners. They are great people, a lot of fun, not to mention very down to earth & welcoming. Their house was beautiful, warm and clean! I love and appreciate a clean home.
As I was enjoying my pop (soda – inside joke with owners) and their company I could not help but wonder where everyone was. It was about 7:20 (?) and my cell phone rang. It was Brandy wondering where the heck I was as they were all waiting for me on the side of the house. They are just so silly!
We entered the home where I meet Dani for the first time. Hi Dani! We stuck to one group as it was only 5 members at the hunt. This is good as I like the intimacy of smaller groups. We did our walk throughand the master bedroom was the only area I felt anything. I felt a yearning feeling in there. We moved to the computer room and some of the group felt it as a different atmosphere, I felt no difference, perhaps just a bit warmer. The sun was setting and that was the West side of the house. Mary noticed the Ouija board in there, good eye Mary! Nobody else even noticed it.
We decided to focus on the master bedroom and the computer room. We went first to the master bedroom. In the master bedroom I felt drawn to the bed. The comforter for some reason pulled me in. Debbie set up her EVP gadgets, Brandy her EMF meter, Dani her video camera and I just relaxed on the bed. Brandy spoke and we asked some questions. At one point I thought, you know, forget the vanilla pudding incident and just roll with it. So I spoke what I felt. It was weird; I know this sounds corny, almost like “she†was talking through me. It was just my mouth. I felt intense love from this woman and she was somehow connected to the female owner of the house. I also felt that the owner felt deep intense love for this woman and perhaps thought of her a lot without knowing “she†was around. At the same time the woman desperately wanted to make contact, connect with her. I think she did not think that the home owner missed or even thought of this her and this bothered her in a BIG WAY. I hope this is making sense.
During the discussion, I wanted to relay the following information to her, and I am unsure if I did. I wanted to let her know that the owner loves, remembers and thinks of her often as she is there with her. I have no clue, but I do feel it was the home owner's Great Grandmother. I do not even know if she new her Great Grandmother in life as that would be rare. I know I have an intense connection to my Great Grandfather and I never knew him in life.
The second visit to the computer room gave me chills and on our way there my headache began. Bad enough that I thought my eyeballs would shoot out of my head. Dani was ready to fight if need be! My ears hurt as if I was landing on an airplane. After a while I could actually hear and feel my ears popping as they adjust to the pressure. I felt nauseous as did Dani, Debbie felt something at her back and a pressure change in her eyes, some people felt watched. I had a B name pop into my head. Bailey, Bruce, Brad, Bradley. This meant nothing to the owners as far as they knew at that point. Brandy and I began our Picture Blackmail (little does she know I took that HORRIBLE Polaroid picture home with me!) and that was about the end of that as we thought this room might be a vortex and we should not even play around in/with it.
Had a great time, enjoyed the homeowners and hope to see them again someday! Thanks again for the SODA and the Roomba & Scuba info.

Investigation time 7:00 pm.

Our group was without our usual psi sensitive that we tend to rely on for a third perspective. It was a great opportunity for attending SPIRITS members to shake out their own intuitions and sensitive abilities. All in all this was one unusual investigation, at least in my opinion it was.
Since there is a chance that this location may be revisited by the SPIRITS I am not going to go so much into my usual black/white report but instead give a generalization of this unique opportunity.
Upon arriving at the investigation site and meeting up with Jen, we ventured into the home that was under renovations. I must say that this house really seemed to have a very upbeat effect on the team members. There appeared to be an atmosphere of laughter and happiness in this home that belied events that have taken place there. With only 5-members present we stayed together as a single group for the silent walk thru. There was joking and laughing through out this walk thru. Temperatures through out the home stayed between 74-77 degrees in all rooms. Very little temp flux at all. I took many pictures and will review those after they are developed. EMF spiking occurred in both the Master Bedroom, Computer room and the Living Room. Of most important note here, the living room seemed to get everyone’s attention, but, for some odd reason we all skirted this one room in favor of other areas. Hindsight, being 20/20, seems to have come up with reasons for this. At a guess, I’d say the team members were almost “herded” away from the living room area. More on this in a few moments
Upon ending the walk through we gathered back at the dining room table and compared notes. Eagle-Eye Mary began by letting us all know there was a ouiji Board in the computer room that the rest of us missed. It felt “open” and two other team members agreed with this sensation that it was an active ouiji. I believe that most of the team members noticed “a different feeling” in the computer room but that we just overlooked the obvious. (Kudos to Mary). Jen thought there was something about the big bed in the Master Bedroom and I had felt a slight chill in there. After comparing our notes we opted for EVP work in the Master Bedroom and the Computer Room. Again, we ignored the statements about the Living Room.
We were very successful interpreting the EVP questions and determined that an elderly woman, possibly a great grandmother was relating to the female homeowner thru dreams. I picked up one EVP in this room and one rumble/grumble. The EVP said “Bless you” when Jen was explaining her feelings about the entity wanting the homeowners to know she was there and with great love. Mary picked up several names like Marybeth, Marisole. The entity in the Master Bedroom seemed to just want the homeowners to know she was there close by. Because of the Ouiji Board in the Computer room we questioned the entity about going in there. According to the EMF spikes, yes there was something in the computer room and no, do not go in there. We thanked the spirit for it’s cooperation and help and headed straight to the computer room and resumed EVP.
An interesting note here, two members of the group each traded places at the entrance to the computer room as if they didn’t want to be the first to go in, leaving me next in line.
I do not think this was a conscious thought on either member’s part. I did think twice about being first in the room. But, I went on in with a tad bit of trepidation and lots of false bravado by out and out declaring, “I’m going in”. (Ok, it was funny to me at the time)
Jen immediately reported pain and pressure as if her eyes were going to pop out. She related the feeling to landing in an airplane. Dani was nauseous and I believe that Brandy complained of sinuses plugging up. Brandy’s Polaroid camera once again needed to be closed and reopened as it did on the silent walk through. We resumed EVP work.
During our EVP work in the computer room, there were lots of discussions about this room having a possible vortex in existence. Most of the members seemed to report feeling either ill or some form of anxiety at the start. I kept feeling as if someone was behind me. We attempted to pinpoint a possible reason with our questioning and received several spikes to different types of questions. In a short span of time the group seemed to ease up and the pressures we were feeling appeared to dissipate. Brandy explained that this was normal as you became accustomed to the presence of a vortex. As soon as this revelation was acknowledged a tiredness or draining feeling seemed to come over the group. It is at this point that I picked up three EVPs that came in the sound of a small child or little girl’s voice. The first EVP seems to say, “come help me”, the second EVP pretty clearly says, “it’s cold” and the last EVP appears to simply say, “phone”. There are a couple of other EVPs but they are unintelligible.
We ended the EVP session and called for the homeowners to join us for their statements.
Homeowner interview: First, let me say that these two homeowners are really connected to each other. They have a rare “singleness of presence” that is enviable. I believe that this house is filled with as much happiness and fun as it has been filled with tragedy and pain.
The home was built in the 1920s and this couple had spent much time in renovating it. It is with sadness that I must report that their 17-year-old son was killed in the living room of this home. I will not go into details, as some sorrows need not be shared in an opened forum such as the Internet.
During the homeowners’ interview, I was seated at the west end of the dinning room table with Brandy seated at the east end. I could clearly see down the length of the living room and into the sitting room. As the information unfolded both from our investigation findings and the homeowners’ history, including dark shadow waking up the female homeowner and “rushing at her” in the Master Bedroom, to items missing one day from where they had been placed to reappearing in that same place 2-3 days later, to their pets barking at a certain point in the house. As the discussion progressed, Jen, to my left, began to report that her ears were buzzing and she was developing pressure in her temples. At the same time I was feeling that “chilling feeling over my right shoulder as if something was there. Dani, who was standing behind me to my right moved to the opposite side of the dinning room stating she felt as if she was being watched from behind. As I was looking at Brandy, I began to notice that the sitting room area was growing dark. So dark that it was hard to see into. In an instant, in the upper right hand corner of the archway between the living room and the sitting room, a large red “orbish” shaped circle appeared on the wooden frame. As soon as I spotted it, it instantly disappeared. Just “blinked out”. It was not as if a car’s tail lights could have illuminated it, it didn’t have that sliding away look a car would have given off. And, it was placed on the frame on the living room side and seemed to fold back on the frame towards the sitting room. I instantly asked if there was a red light that blinked on and off in the sitting room area. The male homeowner seemed to know exactly what I was talking about as he went straight to the frame and pointed towards the bottom of the frame saying, “this is where the dogs do the barking”. I did mention that I saw the red light at the top of the frame. However, dogs being much shorter would appear to bark at about knee height at this spot.
I do not know what I saw and most unfortunately no other team member saw it. I only know that when I went over to that spot I felt absolutely horrible, like prey, and didn’t want to stand there at all.
Brandy feels that I may have picked up on residual energy from the tragedy that occurred in the living room. That the color red usually denotes anger and certainly such an event would have strong negative emotions connected to it. What I do feel is that this residence should be re-investigated with Denise or another sensitive present as I think there is more here. I take this report back to the beginning where I mentioned that our whole group seemed to ignore the living room area even though we received positive readings during our initial walk through. I noticed that everyone seemed to just pass through the living room with no one really lingering there. I do hope the homeowners will allow us a follow up investigation.

Sept. 06: Cleaning kitchen, put straight edge razor on ledge under light switch, which disappeared. Yelled out “put it back” and it was returned in the exact spot that I had left it.
2 – 07: Last weekend, in computer room wieth Keith. Shelby, the male Sheltie, started running and barking from corner to corner. Juped onto the futon then stopped. Sheariaa (other dog) did nothing.
While in computer room: Pressure on neck and upper back.
Feel that son is a guardian.
Confirmations:
Person who built the house died at the age of 90. (Could this be Brian? Research needed).
Son died at 17 years of age. Son’s name Richard, though he was a sarcastic/playful individual. Said that the way we described the interaction was appropriate.
Elephant: When he was a child he rode an elephant at the Renaissance Festival. His sister also collects elephants.
Wedding anniversary in March: Sister’s 5th year wedding anniversary.
Post investigation review:
Cameras: I only had one image that showed up on the HP camera. It’s a typical “flat bottom orb” that this camera seems to capture. However, it is bright and textured, and it is in the area where homeowners report activity.

The image, as reviewed through the LCD display, showed a possible white rod moving towards Susan, who said, immediately thereafter, that she felt cold. The image was reviewed several times by three SPIRITS members on the LCD display before the information was lost.

Eileen Schulte's report on the 5th Street investigation:
After the homeowners and their two dogs left the house, the team entered. Although the temperature was a bit chilly inside, the home had a warm, happy feeling at least in the dining area and living room. I did not sense any activity in those areas. However, the sitting room and the first bedroom we investigated seemed cold and almost hostile to me.
I also sensed that there might be some semi hostile, but not dangerous, spiritual activity in the master bedroom. When the sensitive asked questions such as who are you? I timed the spikes on the EMF. They were not uniform, meaning there was probably no enviromental or natural cause for the spikes. It seemed something or someone was communicating with us.
The most exciting part of the hunt came when the team sat down in the darkened computer room located off the kitchen. The room seemed warm and loving to me. The sensitive perceived an entity and proceeded to ask him or her several questions trying to ascertain the entity's age, sex and how he or she died. When I asked if his or her name was Gary, we got an immediate spike. The sensitive said the entity informed her his name was not Gary, but if that is what we wanted to call him, he was fine with that (he seemed to be a likeable character). He confirmed that he was around 20 and had taken his own life. He continued to answer questions until he seemed to grow tired. At one point, the sensitive said she felt a presence or coldness around her. I trained the video camera on her trying to catch an orb, and saw what seemed to be about a foot-long oblong shaped white light quickly float in front of her face and disappear. I was very excited. I was sure this was not dust or some kind of a reflection. No one had been using a flash camera at that moment. A short time later, I also caught an orb, but that seemed to turn out to be a piece of floating dust. Unfortunately, I believe the white light was accidentally recorded over, so we may never know what it was.
When the team sat down with the homeowners and they told the story about their son's death, it was astonishing how accurate the sensitive had been. The homeowner confirmed that she had a son who died. When the team told her how we had guessed his name was Gary but that it wasn't, that he would just "be Gary" if that's what we wanted him to be, she laughed and said that was something he would do, and that his name wasn't Gary. His bedroom was where the computer room is now, and his body was found in the house. After the hunt, When the lights were turned on in the room in which he had lived, the team saw his picture hanging on the wall. He was smiling. The mom said he was a very nice, friendly kid. She seemed comforted by the fact that her son is apparently still living in his old room, in spirit form of course. She cried when she talked about him, still very sad about his death. In all, it was a very exciting hunt, one I will never forget!

My digital recorder was placed in the office for the duration of the hunt. I did not get any EVP’s; however, twice (at 34:10 and 57:28) I heard a noise that sound like something falling on the floor. It sounded as if a pen dropped on the hardwood floor. Unfortunately, there is no way to determine what caused the noise. I make mention of it only since it was unusual.
Several times in the house, I felt chills and dizziness. In the living room, I was feeling dizzy, and felt as though someone was sitting in the rocking chair. I felt watched. It was about this time that Brandy took a picture of the area in which an orb appeared.
Standing in the master bedroom doorway, I had a feeling of being watched and took around 10 pictures of the hallway at different times and different angles. Nothing showed up on the pictures.
In the office, I was quite chilled; however, the office is close to an outside access, which we determined with the IR thermometer was at least 8-10 degrees cooler. I also felt very light-hearted and happy in the office.
A very interesting night to say the least.

This was not a fun hunt for me. I was already in emotional chaos and on top of that had to carry EVP Deb’s “baby†throughout the hunt. Thus, I was the EVP fill-in for the evening. I did not take any photos and apparently did not even capture a single EVP. Therefore, nothing eventful from my end. Susan and I did hit on a few of the same entities, Betty & the heyoka (Sioux for clown) in the bedroom, but I was much to preoccupied with protecting the “baby.“ Again, a great group to hunt with and a very lovely family to visit & I appreciate the kind words sent to me after the hunt. I would love to go again.

5th Street re-investigation
Members present: Brandy, Debbie, Jeanne, Mary, Juanita and two potential members Verna and Partha.
Equipment used: Fujitsu Lifebook with Wavepro software and Logitech Mic, Sony digital recorder, Casio Exilim digital camera and Sony digital camcorder with IR ability.
Weather: Typical Florida summer time weather during hurricane season, humid, hot with area storms
This is the third investigation at this residence and my second trip here.
Brandy opened the investigation in the usual and customary manner. Then we split into two groups, Brandy, Verna and Mary comprising one group. I, Jeanne, Juanita and Partha made up the other group.
I set up my camcorder on top of the dining room table focusing on the living room and sunroom. Please note that the sunroom contains two full size window that let in the eastern sun. Because this hunt began at 10:00 a.m. there was a very great deal of light coming into the camera. I sat my Sony digital recorder in the den on the desk because the den is where I captured the evp that sounds like a little girl saying, “no….it’s cold…don’t go”, from the first investigation. It was in the den on the second investigation that the rod of light was filmed around one of our sensitives.
Though Jeanne was the senior SPIRITS member on our team she opted out of leading the group and volunteered me to lead the group. We began in the den where Juanita felt immediate chills on the southeast corner of the room by the bookshelf. Partha also took a turn at that spot and reported a coolness there. I tried to stay objective to the moment even with having information from the first hunt here. I still felt light headed with pressure building behind my eyes and forehead. This is the room with the Ouija board and is also the room previously suspected of containing a vortex.
Moving on thru the house from the kitchen to the living room to the sun room I had no additional sensations of the magnitude of the den. The sun room though bright gave us all headaches. At one point I did want to sit down in one of the overstuffed chairs but had the worst feeling that someone was already sitting there just as I began to lower myself into the chair. I did not finish sitting.
From the den we went into the 2nd or guest bedroom. Here I captured an orb in the wicker chair but otherwise no real draw in this room. We then re-entered the hallway stopping briefly to investigate the bathroom then on into the master bedroom. The master bedroom gave just about all of us, even Jeanne, an off feeling. Juanita felt chills, most of us had headaches and a type of anxiety or uneasy feeling. When I switched positions and moved to the area closest to the closet I discovered that the floor had a prominent slope to it. I asked for a pen which Partha handed to me. A realtor once told me that if you drop a pen on the floor you will know if the house is level or not based on if the pen rolls. Our pen rolled across the floor. Testing both sides of the master bedroom it became clear that is was likely that the uneven floor might be why we were all feeling so unbalanced and uneasy in this room.
After finishing our silent walk thru we rejoined the other team to review our photos and compare notes. Since I had been recording the entire silent walk thru it took some time to save the wavepro file. I was the last to give statement which gave me a bit of time to review my photos. Jeanne’s camera seemed to be missing the memory card and she took some of the pictures with my Casio camera. There were surprisingly very few orbs, one in the living room where Brandy also captured an orb, one in the guest bedroom on the wicker chair and one in the master bedroom. Out of all the cameras available to us during the silent walk thru I believe these were the only orbs captured.
The group decided to further investigate the guest bedroom, the living room, the master bedroom and the den based on our combined findings. Not much was collected as evidence or emf response in the guest bedroom. Upon entering the master bedroom my ears began to ring. The ringing increased while I was there. We tested the common wall between the master bedroom and the den. These two rooms continued to give us positive paranormal experiences as they have in the past. During the testing of the common wall, Verna noticed that there was once a door or opening between the two rooms. It is very common in some of the older homes in Florida to create an additional room or rooms out of porches. It was while I was standing in front of this old opening that my ears were ringing so loudly. Then it was time to visit the den.
The den of this house is very much a focus of attention as it continues to produce some very interesting evps as well as a lightrod. We follow up with our usual work. We were not disappointed this time.
Reviewing the evidence:
Digital recorder left in the den stopped recording in less than 5 minutes of being left there. No explanation as to why it stopped recording. No footsteps heard approaching it prior to it just turning off. This has never happened before.
Fujitsu Wave Pro recordings: There are many suspicious potential evps. Plus one very distinct evp of the same little girls voice recorded in the den when I asked her if she wanted to play with the yellow ball (golf ball). You can hear her voice but I have not yet been able to make out what she is saying. There was almost 3-hours of recording time plus the additional 3-hours of video tapes still to be listened to. I will append this report once I’ve had the time to review this and several other evps taken during this session. There is one particular chuckling type response to Brandy when she became a bit annoyed because she tried to capture the emf meter spiking to questions. The emf meter would only sound a response when she was not trying to film it. This chuckling was picked up on her camera’s video snippet, my Fujitsu as well as my camcorder. We will have to wait until we hear from Jeanne who also recorded this session.
Video: Now here is where the fun begins. Taking into account the very limited capture of dust orbs, during the comparison review after the silent walk thru the orbs were flying on the video between Jeanne and Brandy. Please remember that when this film was shot, it was shot into the light with very limited light source coming from behind. These orbs move in all directions, up to down, down to up, side to side and all in front of the very bright window lighting. Most of the orbs are visible between where Jeanne was sitting on the floor and Brandy who was sitting on the couch. One orb tracks from between Brandy to Jeanne, crosses completely in front of her hair and face then down to her right shoulder. Sometimes the orbs would appear one after the other in sets of two. Other times only one orb was recorded in motion. At one point, just as I had stated something about the lack of orbs, an orb shot across the total length of the screen. Time: 10:00am
Present: Verna, Partha, Brandy, Debbie, Mary, Juanita, and Jeanne.
Environment: Air conditioning turned off prior and during investigation.
I was unaware of this location prior to the investigation. On Friday evening all I received was the address. I was unfamiliar with any of the experiences that had occurred in the home prior to the day of investigation.
The seven of us met at 10:00 am to perform an investigation on 5th street. This is a modest one story home with an attic. Upon entering the home I felt absolutely nothing unusual. The house was very welcoming and there was a peaceful feeling. The home had a happy feeling. The house contained a living room, den, front entry, two bedrooms a dining room and a kitchen. Later it was identified that the house was built in 1925. The house evidently did not have a lot of new wiring, electrically. It seems that the home owners just went through some renovations. The house looks great.
The group split into two groups. It was me Brandy and Mary. We started in the front of the home and the other group started in the back of the house. In the entry way of the home I felt absolutely nothing. We then moved into the living room. There is an arch way that leads from the living room to the bedrooms. Right at the door way about three feet away and caddy corner to the couch there was a cold whirling sensation. This sensation was felt close to the ankle area of my body. Mary at the same time noticed. I began to follow this sensation into the spare bedroom. This cool air continued to flow around my legs. Mary continued to feel the same sensation. We sat in the spare room and attempted to try and communicate. At that time I was unable to sense anything else, but the whirling sensation continued. We then proceeded into the hallway to check out the bathroom. I was really not able to sense anything in the bathroom. At this point the whirling sensation had discontinued.
We then entered the master bedroom. As soon as we entered I had a sick feeling. I was drawn to the dresser by the wall opposite the door. I did not get such a great feeling about that piece of furniture. I have to admit that was really the only thing that sparked my attention in that room. While we were in there we again attempted to make contact. We then left that room and entered the dining room. I was unable to sense anything in that room. I believe that Mary picked up on something that appeared to be at the chair in the corner of the room near the dining room archway.
Once leaving the dining room we decided to enter the den. The den was set up like any other. There was a futon, a computer desk, pictures, and other regular den things. I will tell you that when I entered that room I was a little uneasy. There was a lot of energy that I was picking up on. Brandy was trying to make some contact to pick up some EVP. I sat down on the futon and had the horrible sad feeling come across me. I felt really sad. Kind of like when things were not supposed to happen that way. I asked Brandy at that point if someone had died or had been hurt in that room. It was hard to breathe. I kind of got myself out of there. It was not the best feeling.
We then proceeded into the kitchen. The kitchen was not such a bad place to be. It was rather comfortable and then I felt the cool air breeze again. Then it stopped. We then met with the rest of the group and we all went over what we experienced. As a group we went through the house. We tried making contact. I would say the place we had the most interaction was in the den. We had some equipment mal function there.
As soon as we were done in the den we went back into the living room and met with the home owner. Brandy at this point asked for any of us that had a strong experience to share this with the home owner. This is the first time I have ever done anything like this at this level. I explained to the home owner that in the den I had a feeling of sadness and that it was not an angry or evil feeling, just sad. I then proceeded to say that I believed either someone died in the house or someone died associated with the house. After a few more comments from the rest of the group the owner proceeded to give us some information. We were informed that the owner’s 17 year old son had passed away in the house. Out of respect to the homeowner I would not like to discuss this in detail in this forum. But I will say that I was clear about what I was sensing to a degree. At that point I apologized to the home owner for her loss. I feel that the home owner is a very strong person and I admire her for her bravery.
After more conversation we closed the investigation. Upon leaving Partha and I ran into a gentleman that actually entered the house before we left. I will not relay his name, but he is a close friend of the family. He had asked us if we were involved in some sort of investigation about the house. I told him that I would not be able to confirm or deny at that point. He then offered his opinion about the home; he said after the death of the young man, he stayed in the home for a week and that there many strange occurrences. I offered him our website to contact us on anything he would like to add.
I would like to add that during the time we were all presenting information about the investigation, I held the temp meter and that it fluctuated from 75F to 70F in several minutes. The house at that time still was not circulating any air.
This closes my summary of the 5th Street investigation.

Jeanne's Report:
This investigation was a recheck. I wasn't on the previous one, so I knew nothing about the house's history. We had 5 members present, plus two potential members. We split into 2 groups, and my group started in the computer room. Juanita felt a cold spot in that room. Then we checked the kitchen, dining room, and living room. When we went into the front room, Partha said that it gave him a headache. Debbie said that she felt like someone was sitting in the chair. We continued into the guest bedroom, the bathroom, and finished in the master bedroom. Juanita felt cold there too. We noticed that the wood floor sloped down in that room, and could give you an uneasy feeling. Then we met with the other group to compare notes. Verna had felt a swirling feeling in the living room and the guest bedroom. She also felt sick to her stomach. She said she felt a very sad feeling in the computer room. Other members had also felt chills in the computer room. We decided to recheck the bedrooms, and the computer room. We used the EMF meter for a question and answer session in each of these rooms. I also recorded the sessions on my digital recorder. When we finished, we met with the homeowner. She told us that her teenage son had died here, and that the computer room had been his room. Several of our members knew this from their previous investigation, but I didn't. When I reviewed my photos, I got one with a faint orb near Mary. It was taken when she said that she felt something next to her. My recording that was done in the computer room has a whispering voice in one spot. I can't tell what it says, or if it's possibly one of us. I'll have to compare recordings with Debbie, and see if she got it too.

We discussed the following: the color of the Florida room is very bright and with the brightness of the light coming into the house could cause headaches.
Fireplace: the cool breezes in the living room could be created by the fireplace, which has an open flume. Could create “swirling sensation” though the air should be hotter (coming from outside), not cooler.
The floor in the back part of the house, with the MA bedroom, does slope. We confirmed that with homeowner and with our own test.
We discovered that the MA bedroom and the computer room/den have an intersecting wall which did, at one point, have a doorway or a window cut into it. This may be why phenomena happens between the two places.
Second walk through:
I took two Polaroid shots, one in guest room, one in MA bedroom. Neither produced anything.
We attempted to take EVPs in guest room, MA bedroom, and den. Nothing picked up in the first two rooms, but EVPs did occur in the computer room. We tried an experiment of leaving my camcorder on with the computer room/den door open and closed. When the door was closed, the camera focused and unfocused (possibly due to A/C, which had been turned on). During the session with the door closed, there appears to be two whispered words heard off camera, followed by a beep on the EMF meter.
We did note that the sensations that had happened earlier were beginning to fade. Also, due to time constraints, we needed to finish the investigation. We did not get a chance to look outside, though we plan to do that to verify no outside influences are interacting with the equipment.
Homeowner interview:
Homeowner reported the phenomena of the house.
The death that occurred in the home over 10 years ago, around the lunch hour.
Lately, the dog has been chasing something.
After our last investigation, the dogs chase “something” for up to two weeks afterwards. Right before we arrived, the dogs were running after something).
Homeowner is open to a night investigation.
Conclusion: Once again, the new folk, Verna, in particular, picked up activity in the den area. We got more EVPs this time, and we played our prior EVPs for homeowner. She recognized the male voice but didn’t know why.
I was impressed that the activity remains the same in most areas, and that we were also able to rule out some things to potential natural phenomena.

Brandy, Mary & Debra (been here before), Jeanne, Partha, Verna &
Juanita (first timers), homeowner and 2 Shelties.
High humidity, possible thunderstorms & homeowner smokes.
We broke up into two groups- Group 1 Brandy, Mary & Verna Group 2- Debra, Partha, Jeanne & Juanita.
Group 2 started with the computer room. The room felt cooler than the rest of the house. I had really bad chills running up & down my arms & legs the whole time I was standing close to the bookcase. When I moved away from the bookcase, the chills went away. When I moved closer to the bookcase again, the severe chills came back again. Deb said she felt a sense of unease in the room.
I had no sensations as I walked through the kitchen, dining room & living room. In the sunroom, I had a slight headache across my brow while standing in the middle of the room. When I backed up & stood close to the left hand chair (facing the chairs), I had strong chills running up & down my arms & started trembling, so I left the sunroom quickly.
I had no feelings in the guest room or the bathroom. The master bedroom produced the most sensations when I was near the resser with the mirror- strong chills, tension across my shoulders and an ache in my stomach. When I moved away from the dresser, all of these sensations went away. Deb spoke of being dizzy & it was noticed that where she was standing, the floor tilted down.
Second walk through. We had one spike in the guest bedroom. There was a beep when Deb asked if the entity was non human & a spike when Deb asked if the entity wanted to talk in another room. In the master bedroom, Verna & I both had bad chills & a bad feeling around the dresser with the mirror. It was noted that there appeared to have been a doorway at one time between the master bedroom & the computer room..
In the computer room for the second time, I was still getting chills depending on where I was standing. The emf meter keep spiking when questions were asked. A ball was left on the futon in the computer room & the entity was asked to play with the ball when we left the room. We did not hear the ball hit the floor.
Question regarding an observation: does the makeup of the group affect the interaction with the energy in the house? As we all gave our observations after the first walk through, I noticed that my group felt more activitiy in the computer room, the master bedroom & the sunroom. Brandy's group had more activity in the living room and guest room and computer room.

Conditions: clear hot and humid daytime investigation starting mid-morning and ending early afternoon
Equipment: several digital cameras (I used both a sony and a kodak), 2 video cameras, 1 poloroid camera, 1 digital recorder and a laptop computer
This is the third time that I have been to this house on an investigation. The home was built in 1925 and is in the process of restoration. The homeowner had shut the air conditioning down about 2 hours prior to the start of the investigation. There were no open windows or fans.
The team split into 2 groups and started at opposite ends of the home on a silent walk-thru in which each team determined the "hot spots." During Brandy's team's investigation, both Verna and I felt a cool "swirling" breeze that folllowed us from the living room, down a short hall and into the guest bedroom. It was present again when we left that room and followed us to the master bedroom. It also followed into the dining room where I felt it chill my right shoulder and arm. Later in the master bedroom when the whole group was present, it came up my left arm and settled behind me on the bed. This was the first time this has occurred.
During this investigation we had several camera failures. The first 20 or so pictures that I took were blurred. A few of them were taken in the sun room, but the majority were in the living room which is identified as an active location (the only orb picture I got was in the living room where it joins the dining room) along with the master bedroom and the computer room/den. In the den the presence of both a little girl and a young man was felt. ( The group has gotten EVPs in this location before of a little girl and of a man).
There is evidence that there is a presence in the home, but a very benign presence. The SPIRITS will be returning for an all-night investigation at the request of the homeowner in the near future.

33.3%11.Master Bedroom stronger energy-cold spots at back, sensation of possible being pulled backwards off bed. Second wave of energy in same location made me suddenly very ill feeling, nausea, cold clammy skin lightheadness that lasted about 4-5 minutes then just stopped.
2. Severely dizzy in MA bedroom. Each time I went in, I felt very disoriented and dizzy, though I do not recall this before. Also, hot spot in hall. Felt warm the entire time I was there.

5. What technical observations did you note during the investigation? For purposes of categorizing data, please post your first name, followed by your response.
1.Mary: On my digital recorded, I picked up what appears to be the same "EVP" as Brandy reported in the computer room. When asked the question "Did you commit suicide?", there is a long pause and then a low, almost breathless male voice that seems to say "no." Other than that, which was not audible in the investigation itself, there was nothing I personally got. We did try to determine why in the master bedroom, there were feelings of dizziness. A pen placed on the floor rolled by itself down the floor at the end of the bed, indicating that the floor may not be level in that area. This may account for those sensations of dizziness by some team members.
2.Brandy: EVPS: (MA bedroom and computer room) I had several EVPs to which I heard either "yes" or a "sigh" or garbled response to. The only EVP that really stood out to me, though, was "did you commit suicide?"....after the question there is a pause, then a "no" answer (computer room, EVP session 2). 1.Mary: There were repeated instances of cold spots and one hot spot in the hall outside of the guest bedroom. In the guest room, the master bedroom and the computer room, there were cold spots. I felt a sensation of tightness through my neck and shoulders which for me indicates energy present. Also, although there is no connection able to be made to date, the words "concentric circles" or "spirals" came to my mind.
2.Brandy: I felt incredibly dizzy in the MA bedroom. I do no recall feeling this way in the past. Tonight, however, it was very bad. This happened the first time I went into the room, then I felt as if I was going to fall (dizziness) when I went back in to set up the video camera. Even sitting in the room for the EVPs, I felt ill. However, there are two EVPs that occur in the MA bedroom, and one that occurs in the computer room. I felt incredibly warm in the hallway (by the closet).
3.Debbie, outside of the 2-impressions in the Master Bedroom this location's energy levels appear to have dropped dramatically. This was my 3rd or 4th investigation at this residence.

1.Mary: I have not been able to find out any more about this property since we first began investigating it approximately 2 years ago. We do know that it was the scene of a very tragic event for this family.

9. What issues does the review team need to address with the occupant (homeowner, business owner, resident)? What aspects of the investigation need to be re-addressed, retested, or clarified?
1.It is suggested that the computer room be re-tested for EVPs, possibly with the homeowners present, to see if more contact can be established. In fact, having the homeowners ask some questions, may prove important to the investigation.

3.According to one of our members who discussed recent events with the homeowners, the house has been saged since our last visit. Would like to know when they saged.

1.Mary: While we were taping EVPs in the computer room, one of the dogs began barking in another room quite insistently. The dogs have often barked at unseen things in the TV room according to the homeowners. This investigation was unusual for the SPIRITS in that it took place from 12:00 midnite through 3:15 AM. Interestingly enough, although the homeowners felt there was more night-time activity by the entity/entities, we actually recorded less activity overall than in previous visits. Wed, 5/14/08 5:18 AM
2.Brandy: Not too much. It was enjoyable, though I was surprised at how tired I was doing it, even WITH a nap!
3.Debbie- this investigation was conducted in the early morning hours and the investigators energies were lower than usual which may have played a part with the reduced activity. The homeowners reports that activity does increase (which is unusual for us) after we have investigated or a period of about 2-weeks. We may want to follow up with this residence in another 5-6 days if homeowners report increased activity this time.

Return trip to 5th St:
Attempted two EVP session, one in MA bedroom and one in the computer room but there was no result found. I did not have the same dizzy sensation as before in the MA bedroom, though I felt disoriented towards the area of the cabinet. Before we arrived, the homeowners reported that they had unusual phenomena with the dogs barking. They did record it and we were able to see the video. The dog did bark and look over the homeowner’s head, then went into the next room and again looked at the area of the wall (as described by homeowners before). This is abnormal to the breed, according to the homeowners. While in the MA bedroom, Barbara heard a sound near the recorder (though nothing was recording), and Evie picked up the name “Greg”.
The homeowners did sage 2 to 3 years ago. Had reports of others staying in the house and feeling watched. A niece who stayed with them felt watched very intently, as have house watchers. Others who are sensitive have also reported phenomena.
