Discussion:
Note: Les got called away for a family emergency.
Erin: Ovilus had a lot to say; we started in MA bedroom and for the first time it spoke every five seconds. Property, step, stair,
fell through (twice), pray, error, angel, played, room, upstairs. Step, upstairs, stair (many times). Tested to make sure that it
was not the camera. Felt as if anyone was in the bathroom that they would feel watched. In the livingroom, it said "friend, magic,watch, religion, and art". Front room it said a lot of words "camera, fit, stair, light, died, running, cars, sister, nun, slay"
MA bedroom (second time): got really cold. The first time it wasn't cold, but the second time it was really cold. It said
"Step, lot, woods, stop, upstairs, 90, minute, and pray". Light off, it said "quick". Front room, and it said "fell
through." I was looking at the remote control on the bed and it said "remote", which was really weird. It said "dresser"
and "sultry", "property, failure, fierce, mercury, ride, team". We said that we were leaving, and it said a series of
words, including "faith, fear, angel, and Roger". In the daughter's room it was really cold. Ovilus said "safe, stair, and fat or fit".
We asked it some questions. We asked it if "this was your room" and it made the meter spike. "Is this your house" and it spiked. "Are you male" and it spiked. Nothing when asked if it was female. In the front room and it said "Pray, visit, fast, limb, and step."Noted that it said "safe", "fierce or fears", and "angel" a few times. We said that we would come back as a group and it said "team" in the master bedroom.
Mandy: In a couple of spots the video camera would go out of focus. Checked with the homeowner to see if would go out of focus, or it was an autofocus problem. Attempted to test the camera, but all tests showed that the camera would focus just fine. This only happened in the MA and the front bedrooms. Master bedroom, got a "BR" name. I felt a pressure on my neck. I was trying to figure out if someone put a hand on my neck or if my muscles were tensing. It was a heavy energy. "Brain or Brad" for a name. I felt that he was curious but not outgoing. He was not outgoing. Got a beard. In the front bedroom, that was really not a lot of feeling. We had temperature spikes in that area. It was going from 69 to 72. There was a cold spot as you walk in the door. For me, that was all that was going on in that room. I did not want to go into the girl's room. It felt colder to me. I got an older male, with the name "Rodger". Noted that the ovilus had gotten that name as well. When I was in that room, I had a lot of pain in my temple and behind my eye. I felt that it was really heavy energy in there. Older, dominant, aggressive male. MY house. Territorial. It did not make me comfortable in there. I noted the dream catcher in that room. The temperature spiked from 69 to 75 one time. I did double check the thermometer and didn't get the spikes again.
Mary: In the MA bedroom, I felt that there was a lot of stuffy feeling. The temperature dropped and the meter dropped at the same time. There was high EMF by the clock radio and on the other night stand there was high EMF readings. There was also a high reading out there. The temperature stayed constant around 66 or 67. There were some spikes. The most significant spike was 71 to 68. I put next to that that "no real sensitive stuff". I didn't pick up anything about anybody. We came out here and there was some high EMF by the light switches, phone and fridge. we walked into the front room and
when I had walked in the front room originally I felt more then. We left and came back in here for a few mintues to avoid the first group. I felt that there was a mild energy the first time. The little dressing table by the front door -- associated with a younger girl, blonde hair and curly. Putting her back in 1915 or something like that. There is something about that. There is a little girl there with that, attached with the furniture. Also, I got the impression of a blue ribbon in her hair on the right side. There is an "A" name associated with her -- April, Allie, older name. When we came back into that room, I was sitting at the end of the couch in front of that piece of furniture. I felt a significant coldness. I felt that it was around my shoulders. That gave me the impression that someone was standing over me; think it was a male. Nothing bad about it. The front bedroom was pretty much around 72 degrees. It was warmer than normal, but when we asked for the meter to lower the temperature, the temperature went up. The temp went up to 72 immediately with the EMF spike. Girl's room was significantly colder. It felt very cold. Moving away from the window this coldness was almost the same height. Boy's room there was a breeze; nothing significant but it did have a movement to it.
Beth: I didn't pick up anything in the boy's room. The ghost rods did move when we asked questions. We went to the girl's room. Felt an older presence, man. Around 65. I felt that he was possessive, no anger but confusion. Felt a bone cold. I know the homeowner and in all of the time, I would never go into that room. When we went into the front living room, everything changed. I felt calmer, a lighter energy. I kept feeling it like I feel, I feel like arms hugging down my arm from behind. I felt that, but I wasn't feeling that this was a female, and I wonder if this is a child. Nothing in the kitchen or second living room. The MA bedroom, felt a female, a lot of emotion. I was unable to pick up an age, but with the ghost rods we got movement on 50 - 75. I felt congestive heart failure -- pressure in the chest. Felt a lot of emotion in that room. Wonder if it's homeowner's husband's grandmother in that room. I feel drained even talking about that room right now.
Brandy: Asked a series of questions. The ghost rods crossed with questions. Front room: Anyone here: crossed. Girl's room: Crossed, Puck: Sandra, Beth got the name Neal -- jerk. Noted that Beth felt that the entity was withdrawn and confused. Asked the Puck if the ghost had a message to pass on; only thing the Puck said, though it was chatty almost everywhere else, was "mine". Asked if the children were his and the answer was "cattle". (The daughter's nickname is "Moo"....) Male entity was older. Living room, playful entity. Phrase: Watch yourself preacher. Notes: Pucks are responses are totally different. Midway: EM dropped. Readings everywhere else were fluctuating. MA bedroom, has a female entity. Between 50 and 75 according to ghost rods. Lived in house cross, died in house, cross. Not related to the ghost up front. Asked if it shared a space, and there was a reaction. How did the entity feel? Happy? Beth -- content. Is there a message to pass on -- sun. Brandy: Son? Beth: Sunlight. Brandy: Does she want more sunlight? More sun? Does she want to cross over? Beth: Cross over. Brandy: Is she related to the homeowner? Is she waiting for someone? Her son? (From living room, homeowner, "Ask about grandson"). Are you waiting for your grandson? Beth: yes. Beth overwhelmed by emotion twice. Pride and love -- overwhelming feeling.

Mary: There was a serious drain of power in the camera.
Mary, Erin and Mandy: Mandy saw a shadow movement, at the same time Ovilus said "quick."
Paranormal Puck Session 1: Apparently this is not in the original notes. However, two sessions stand out, as read above.
After the Puck babled quite a bit for the first walk through, it had two significant questions. One was:
"What message do you want to pass on?"

In the livingroom, when asked if the entity was female the response was a near sentence:
"preacher watch yourself" (followed by 3 other random words).
Both of these questions were read aloud to the group with the answers. Both were quite eerie because the Puck had so often created almost random answers and multi-worded answers up until this point and out of nearly 25 questions asked, all with strange answers, these questions were the only ones that were either one - word answers (instead of 5 or 6) or made any sense. They also fit with what we know of the investigation. I will continue to try to retrieve the notes if I can find them for the Puck. (NOTES: 12:20 a.m., under 1 hour after the investigation ended).

Discussion with homeowner;
From the begining we felt as if we were being watched in this house. From the front window, we saw an old lady leaning
in the doorframe. Both homeowners saw her.
Saw a young boy ("David") in the house. Beth's kids talked to him when they were here.
When son was in the smaller bedroom, he had trophies on the dresser, it was all pushed off.
All feel an old man in the front of the house. In the small bedroom, clocks and things move in that room, especially things
on the shelves. In the MA bedroom, we hear voices, like you are overhearing a conversation.
Someone was in bed with husband, very hard. Sheets pulling very hard on the corner.
Son feels someone in the kitchen by the corner by the microwave (got the microwave).
Daughter thought that she saw a face in the corner of the small room. Son has also seen a man standing by the window
of the small.
Homeowner feels as if the entities gather in the livingroom at night.
Homeowner's father made a joke that his angels were not with him; a penny fell out him from nowhere.
Homeowner's son used to have little plastic balls fall around him. He would bring the balls to him. They were a yellow
clear plastic.
Had a psychic come in, and felt a very angry energy imprinted on the home from the construction workers.
When sitting on the couch, homeowner feels something pull her hair.
Lights go on and off. Thanksgiving lights went on and off in a very strange way.
Son saw a shadow in his room.
Found a book that was lodged in the walls of the house when they remodeled the home.
A pair of glasses were found under the bed. The bed was moved before, no glasses.
When son was a baby, homeowner walked into her son's room night and saw a man holding the baby. Long hair, beard, robe
(note: One SPIRITS member had sensed a man with a beard and long hair). Said that he "wasn't done with him yet. He's still
mine." He put the baby down, homeowner ran to the crib, and then turned around and there was nobody there.
Discovered a book in the walls when they did reconstruction. Pulled out the book and we were able to see it.

Mandy: Received information about a "Br" name, as well an image of a man with a beard. Heard the name "Roger" and did not want to enter the little girl's room. Had overwhelming feeling of possession and aggression to us being in there. Felt confusion as well, like the entity didn't know why we were there in his house. Had shooting pains in my right temple and behind my right eye, as well as shortness of breath and chest pain in both the master bedroom and the little girl's room.

Mandy: There was a "Burl" and a "Barbara" who used to own the house, as well as a "Robert". The house was built for returning WWII veterans.

Mary: There was high EMF in the master bedroom from electrical appliances such as a clock radio eminating from both nightstands. There was also high EMF readings around a light switch. The temperature stayed fairly even with small spikes. The most prominent one was from 71 degrees to 68 degrees. The boy's room in the front of the house was the warmest of the 3 bedrooms. We asked for the entity to lower the temperature if there was anyone present with us. Instead of lowering it, it spiked upward at the same time as the EMF spiked. This room was stuffy, but smaller and there were 3 investigators present. There was a slight breeze that was felt, but there was no AC?heat?fan to cause it nor was there any breeze felt by the window itself. The girl's room was significantly colder. It was a cold evening (for Florda) and we learned that this area which was part of the original structure, was not as well insulated.

Mary: When first entering the home I felt energy immediately in the living room. Later I picked up on a young girl with blonde curls, maybe a blue ribbon, in perhaps early 20th century clothing, specifically a white, square cut neckline. An "A" name like April or Allie came to me. She seemed friendly and curious. She also appeared to be connected with an antique dresser just insde front door, standing just to the left of it. I would guess her to be about 8. Later in the investigation when we came back into that room, I was sitting on the end of the couch nearer to the bedroms when I felt a coldness sweep around my shoulders as if someone were standing behind me. It felt more like a male energy, but not threatening. There was also a feeling of stuffiness in the master bedroom when we first entered. I did not feel anything really that was paranormal at that time.

Mary: Looking at researched info about the house, it appears that it may have been rental property for some years prior to being purchased by the current homeowners. The house itself was built in 1953. To date there is no record of any deaths on the property nor is there any military records of known occupants/owners that have been found.

There needs to be a more extensive EVP session held in the daughter's bedroom. Also with the high EMF eminating from both nightstands in the master bedroom, it may be that the electrical items should be relocated to see if there is a decrease in the feelings of being watched, etc.

Saw divining rods cross and uncross, the Paranormal Puck also acted strangely. Had three coherent statements

Brandy: The Paranormal Puck was the most interesting for me. It did have three statements that were unusual. It was set to speak for 15 seconds and often produced the normal nonsense. Three times, however, it did something different. In the daughter's room, when asked if the entity had a message to pass on, the Puck said "mine" -- a sense of possessiveness is noted about the entity by the homeowner. It also stated only one word instead of the typical 5 or 6. When asked about the children, it said "cattle" -- and the daughter's nickname is her name plus "Moo". Lastly, in the living room it came up with "preacher watch yourself". I also saw the EMF fields fluctuate wildly for the first time since getting the device in October. Pictures: Nothing. Film: only one picture taken, undeveloped at this time. EVPs: Nothing.

I observed this in the bedroom: our sensitive, Beth, felt very overwhelmed by a female presence. The message was that the entity was waiting for someone, and initially responded to "son", though the homeowner in the living room, overhearing the question, asked if this was actually her "grandson". The response was positive. The sensitive felt so overwhelmed that I had to ask it to back off twice from her. Her message to pass on was that she felt pride and and love toward her grandson. We did later learn that the male homeowner discovered his deceased grandmother, but that they had shared a close bond in life.

House was built in 1953. Several people who had been in there, especially in the second to front bedroom, felt uncomfortable there. This is where we had the most activity and nearly everyone agreed that it was an older male entity who was very possessive of the house. Mary and Erin did research the house and discovered that it was also a rental unit for some time.

Not sure what it is, but it appears the same color and consistancy of an orb, but they are lines that seem to form an "H" or backwards "4".

Erin: I used the ovilus during the investigation, which said a lot of words, in total probably around a hundred. Of the ones I could decipher, the ones it said more than once are step, stairs, upstairs, fell through, angel, fears, property, pray, and safe. After another investigator said that they thought they had seen a shadow walk by, the ovilus said "quick". We got some EMF spikes following some of the questions we asked, such as "was this your house", "was this your room" and "are you male".

In the master bedroom, I felt very anxious and uncomfortable, like someone did not want us there. I felt like I was being watched from the master bathroom. I felt the sensation of being very cold, even though the temperature had not changed.

I went to the county courthouse to search the prior owners of the property, and was able to get back to 1961. Prior to 1957 the indexes are a bit of a mess, and I couldn't find the original deed to to the property. But here is what I did find: The current owners bought the property in 1991 from Robert P. Andrews, Barbara A. Andrews, and Bobby R and Neida Childers. The Andrews and Childers got the property from Phyllis G. Francis, a widow, in 1976. Phyllis G. Francis originally took title with her husband Albert J. Francis in 1966, but Albert deeded his portion to Phyllis in 1973. I don't think he died, as there are documents filed with his name on them up to 1975 or 1976 and they are not probate-related. But I don't know on that one. Phyllis and Albert Francis took title from Bertha Ann Cochran in November of 1966. Bertha Ann Cochran originally took title with her husband Burl J. Cochran in 1962. Burl seems to have died in late 1965 because the estate and a deed giving Bertha the full rights to the property were filed in January of 1966. She sold the house ten months later. The Cochrans got the property from William F. Jones in 1962. I found a quitclaim deed in January of 1961 between William F. Jones and Joan C. Spond. Quitclaim deeds are generally filed between two parties that know each other, usually between family or a husband and wife. Most of the time it's because people are getting married or divorced or someone died. I don't know if this is the deed where William took title, or if Joan was taking title, or Joan could have been removed from title. I couldn't find the deed to look at it. And that's where I lost the trail.

I think the team needs to check with her to see if the activity continues, or if it seems to have lessened. If the activity continues, further EVP sessions may be warranted, as there seemed to be a good amount of response, both technical and psychically, to the EVP questions that were asked.

Cheryl: I felt good knowing that we are coming here. We first went to the MA bedroom. The first thing I wrote down was “someone in the bathroom” and I went in to take a picture near the toilet and my battery drained completely. After that I kept feeling that I was short of breath. I left the room for a minute, went back in there and had the sense of someone looking in, short of breath, copper taste in my mouth -- scared. I kept wanting to look at the window and I don’t know why. I felt like I was startled. Nothing really in the living room or dining room. When I first went into the MA bedroom; felt nothing good or bad. Saw an elderly woman going from the living room to the kitchen, shuffling. She was hunched over; no kids, didn’t want to leave the house, stale smoke and coffee. Questioned if she knew English. Little girl’s room nausea, times two, after I was in there for a little while. I heard gasping or wheezing. Jesse’s room made me dizzy, but I also put “used for storage”. It gave me a weird feeling of it was a room, but not a room. In the kid’s bathroom, I wrote down safe. It reminded me of where I would go if there were a tornado.
Verna: When I first arrived, I heard footsteps which I notated. I heard footsteps outside the bathroom when I went to use it, then when we were sitting at the table. I sensed an old woman in the house in general. I feel that it is more on the old side of the house (the front of the house). There is a lot of energy with the stained glass window; I can’t even put my hands on it there is so much energy. There is so much energy to it that I know that it is significant. The area that connects the old portion of the house to the new portion, back in the bathroom area, there is a lot of energy there. Back where the MA bedroom is, I felt a connection. The living room felt benign to me, I felt nothing. Then I went to stand by the front door, I saw the old woman looking through the door. It’s an old fashioned door with a screen door; not the door that is there now. That stopped, and as the team moved toward the hallway, I was drawn to the little girl’s room immediately. I see the old woman looking over the bed. I rarely see things in this fashion so this is very significant. I want to know if this woman ever communicated to the girl; I got the impression that the daughter was talking to her. Then, we go into the front bedroom, I don’t like that room. That room felt detached from the rest of the house; I felt shut off and isolated in this room. I don’t know why, there is nothing in there that explains why I should feel this way. I know that it was a part of the original house, but it seems detached. I wasn’t picking up anything after that. Nothing in the front bathroom, I felt nothing.
Erin: MA bedroom: I did not feel what I felt last time. No feeling of being watched in there. Nothing in here. We went to the front living room, I feel energy in the hallway, where the bedrooms are. In the daughter’s bedroom, I was in there for a few minutes and I started to have a heavy feeling in the chest in the corner where the bed and bookcase are. It got heavier the longer I stood there. I don’t feel anything in the son’s bedroom. When we came back through the living room to come back here, I stood by the front door, I felt like someone stands there and looks out into the street.
Mary: Master bedroom, like last time, both of the clocks emit a high EMF that crosses right over. The right side of the bed by the bedpost I felt a lot of energy to me. I can pick up the energy but I could not tell if it was male or female. A name that had the initial “C” came to me at that point. Coming up this way, the living room and dining room had nothing. In the front room, last time I saw a little girl with the antique dresser. Didn’t see it this time, and no feeling with it. I found the feeling in the hallway, dead center of the hallway. I felt the energy level spike. I got to the center of the room and felt shivers -- a tense feeling. Going to the front of the house, boy’s bedroom, it seems like that the room is not part of the living space. That was about all this time.
Les: Basically all that I had was real low EMF about .5 the whole time. Spikes by the fridge and radios.
Beth: While we were talking at the table I felt a male energy behind me that wanted to see what was going on at that time. It was around the same time that Verna heard footsteps in the living room. In the MA bedroom I felt a female presence, and it was really by the bedpost. I felt it really strongly there last time we were there. In Maggie’s room, I get a male presence. I get a strong “G” name there. Tonight I felt a lot of pressure my head. Pressure and pressing down on the back of my head.
Brandy: I was walking to the bathroom and saw the guinea pig in the main room. Held the guinea pig and she seemed fine. Took some images, too. No pictures showed much; only one small orb in kitchen.

Erin- I felt energy near the front door, as if someone used to stand there and look outside a lot. I felt energy i the hallway near the bedrooms, and also in the little girl's bedroom. The energy was most prominent near the bed and vanity, a heavy energy.

I'm not sure. What I find interesting is that the possessive man that was prominent in the initial investigation didn't seem to play much of a role in the recheck. However, the recheck seemed to focus on an old woman, who didn't seem to be same old women (relative) that was picked up before. I just find that interesting, is all.

Homeowner discussion:
Homeowner did say that the woman who they bought the house from was as Cheryl described. She was known to smell like smoke. She would stand at the door and hated everything out there.
The initial “C” may have been related to “Aunt Clara”; she could not speak towards the end of her life because she had a trach.
Stained glass window: bought in VA but does not know the history.
All of these houses were built for the military men returning home.
